Walter Hardy really did kill Uncle Ben in Spectacular, and the notes for the cancelled future seasons confirmed that Peter and Felicia’s relationship would’ve gotten really rocky because of that.
Will be invalidated soon enough again and Peter still acts like a manchild during that time who can't move on from MJ. Felicia will never be endgame to these hack writers.
Without context yes but it means you're just getting swung around for yet another Peter cucks himself out of a relationship moment for the 1000th

What do you mean and? Having character constantly repeat the same story is just bad writing. Simple. You love eating the smelliest dogshit, I get it, but not everyone has this kind of fetish.
No one actually likes Felicia as a character despite what they claim. She's 100% sex appeal and that's it. MJ had an actual character people liked beyond the fact that she just looked sexy. That's why it pisses people off when they do shit like this.
Who are you trying to convince her? Yourself? MJ has no character. That's why every adaptation of her is so drastically different and why she keeps getting new powers, jobs and boyfriends to cuck Peter with in the comics. There is nothing writers can agree on but the fact that she likes Spider-Man. Even these Spiderverse movies don't give her any personality and they give it to everyone even Spot of all fucking characters.

No that would be Superman fans who throw tantrums over slight deviations to the character
It's crazy how Spider-cucks instantly project to these two every single time. Some sort of weird inferiority complex going on there, the obsession is unnatural.
Haven't they enjoyed stuff since then, though? Smashes the Klan, New 52's Superbro. Time rarely makes a bad movie good, but Spider-Fans seem to be on perpetual mope mode no matter what happens.
Death Battle threads
Enough said
That seems to prove the opposite, they're still there despite Batman getting dumpstered in every matchup and every tr/a/nny that passes through trying to get an epic burn in on Supes for beating Goku.
nah i think the spider-fandom is very patient and understanding i don't see batfags sticking around if writers treated batman like they treat spider-man
>Spot's going to start getting mandated Spider-Comic appearances until Spider-Verse 3 is out.
Can't wait for Marvel to burn the charm out of him.
Inb4 the big spot event that caps off ASM 50.
>other fandoms clearly go apeshit when the main character is shown to not be who they thought he was in the span of minutes >Spider-Man fans just get gradually more silently disappointed when Marvel decides to assassinate his character for the 40th time >"GUYS SPIDER-MAN FANS ARE SOOOOO SENSITIVE"
Get some perspective.
spiderman has had good runs in the past. good movies, cartoons. he's a comic book cultural mainstay and will continue to have comics made in the future. spiderbros always have the tiny glimmer of hope new writers can someday make spiderman great again.
isayama had one chance and he blew it at the very end. everyone knows damn well now he's a fumblebee and the franchise has no shot from this point forward.
there's a difference.
Oh, fuck off. I'm simply tired of retards like OP complaining that Spider-Man fans are fragile because they don't like what Marvel's been doing to the character when other fandoms have nearly burnt themselves to the ground for less.
>Eren never got cucked by the author's self insert after over 30 years of love-story precedence (despite the author retconning him into loving Mikasa the whole time) >Eren has never been brought so low as to beg for his or his friends' lives to his enemies >Eren has a mental breakdown (of which there is precedent of him doing so when emotionally overwhelmed) nearing the end of his life and SNKfags start raising hell at Kodansha, MAPPA, and Isayama to give them the ending they want
>Spider-Man has been brought low enough as to do the equivalent of all three in the name of being LE RELATABLE COMMON MAN and Spider-Man fans simply just get frustrated at modern Marvel writers and move on
So Manga examples are just as retarded? The fan base is too cucked to where they delude themselves to think the anime will change anything in the final season
>Spider-Man fans just get gradually more silently disappointed
That's not even remotely true, there's a ton of seething and people taking every bad thing that happens to Peter personally.
"Spider-man has the most fragile fanbase!" they say down below >I look down from my recliner, and laid back. Having the solace in knowing that their "fraggiling" will happen to them, too.
"We've decided to make a new character to represent a minority group!"
Cool, good luck with that.
"We've decided that a well-established character is from now on a member of this minority group, and if you don't like that you're a bigot."
Not interested in winning people over, huh?
It's just annoying to see Spider-Man losing EVERYWHERE >But Spider-Man is supposed to be a loser
No, he's supposed to have relatable problems like poverty and dating issues, Spider-Man is actually competent, he's good at being a superhero because he's a genius not due to his spider-powers
Spider-Man absolutely should get knocked the fuck down. Why? So he could rise up better and stronger than before (not literally for all you powerlevel brainrot fags). It's all about not letting the adversity keep you down.
What Marvel currently does is just whaling on him with a sledgehammer without giving him any chance to recover because idiots mistake "struggling" for "being a loser".
I have literally no idea why I have to spell out such obvious themes that have been present in the character's history for decades but considering how many people regurgitate "Peter is supposed to be a loser" and "muh Parker luck" bullshit, it needs to be said as often as possible.
>but considering how many people regurgitate "Peter is supposed to be a loser" and "muh Parker luck" bullshit, it needs to be said as often as possible.
But dude. How else am I supposed to project myself into Spider-Man? He is supposed to be a complete loser like me. Also make him an artist with anxiety and let him listen to hip hop.
You're clearly exaggerating by implying say Spider-Man has literally never beaten anyone in the last few years. What, does he lose and get killed by his villains every arc?
Spidey was always meant to be emblematic of the common man. And like the common man, he struggled with his financials and relationships. He was never some awkward geek or a socially inept loser. He was just a regular guy trying to make it through the bullshit that is life, while also helping people as Spider-Man.
You do realise that he isn't attending that party because he's Spider-Man, right? Peter gained a shitload of confidence after he got bitten by the spider, it's why he stopped taking Flash's shit and would openly shit talk Johnny
You can't be serious you fucking mongoloid. You do realise that the reason they call him a bookworm is because that's how he always acts but this time Peter is doing Spider-Man business instead. Go read a comicbook for once in your life instead of only parroting what you hear from your favourite e-celebs

He’s a bookworm because he’s focused on his studies, not because he’s some loser outcast. He also had responsibilities both as Spider-Man AND in helping May with the finances, as Ben was the sole provider of the family. He had no time to go to parties when there were more important things at hand.

When did I say that? I said that he gained a bunch of confidence after he was first bitten, which is true. His awkwardness is inconsequential to the story at large, and he spends far more time being a smarmy cunt during the Ditko run then an awkward geek.

It's amazing that every response you're contradicting yourself. First he was never a awkward geek, then he was one but only before he became Spider-Man but the he actually is one even as Spider-Man as well but only for issue but then he doesn't take shit no more but he actually still takes it.

Fact is you contradicted yourself multiple times now no matter how much you want to believe I want to self insert. I don't by the way. I think projecting yourself into Spider-Man or any capeshitter is a loser thing to do. I'm telling you it's part of his character that he was one which you pretended was never the case. He was an awkward geek. Prtending Spider-Man comics don't exist or telling me that the previous loser has to hold himself back from killing another person directly after telling me he wouldn't take shit anymore won't help you make your case.

Those nerd stereotypes are kind of outdated, now we know that real life losers are usually not clean, organized, hard working smart individuals, Peter would be pretty popular irl.
They're in Top 5, but I'd say Finn's fanbase has them beat. Those guys literally can't talk about anything from the show but their self-insert not getting all the gurls.
>Does Spider-man have the most fragile fanbase?
15+ years of shitting on Pete in the mainline books and 14 years since his last decent adaptation in other media.
If anything, they're too resilient.
>14 years since his last decent adaptation in other media.
Raimishills should get the rope. It's this version why most people think Spider-Man should be a loser who can't have fun.
Honestly, yeah. RaimiPeter is completely at odds with the original portrayal. In fact, Peter and Harry’s dynamic in the movies are the reverse in the comics where Peter is the dominant one.
bad because... reasons
he was bad because the movies weren't good >Holland bad because... he's not masculine enough for me to self-insert as
he is bad because he can't act and has to be caried through every scene and his spider'man is more of a Iron lad than he is Spider'man
>he is bad because he can't act and has to be caried through every scene
What the hell are you even talking about. Both Homecoming and Far From Home end on Peter fighting alone saving the day. His acting is also fine? There is point in the story where what he says is completely contradictory to how he acts
>he was bad because the movies weren't good
TASM was great >he is bad because he can't act and has to be caried through every scene and his spider'man is more of a Iron lad than he is Spider'man
he saves the day by himself in the climax of every one of his movies
>oh no, he finally had a loss in his life by the end of a shitty crossover, that totally makes him not sanitized >let's ignore how he's the most bland and toothless puppy-dog eyed loser imaginable who looks like he's gonna cry at all times
MCUfags are embarrassing.
This thread makes it very obvious that you homosexuals projected yourself onto Peter way too much. >peter was always a downtrodden nerd just like me!!!
You know he's a comic character right? Your life isn't a comic book and you aren't Peter Parker. Wake up.
Yeah, and you can tell they take it extremely personally, especially how the last reply to your post was a twitter post from a seething peter self-inserter.
To the point that they unironically push for a Tumblr headcanon to be made official because they genuinely feel threatened by a black twink?
If that's not evidence enough . . .
Are you talking about the Gwen thing?
If you don't think that making big corporations perform PR acrobatics is funny and worth doing for its' own sake, then you would probably be more comfortable on another site.
It's an ancient expression, but 'for the lulz' is still a driving force here.
I can't blame them. Spider-Man is the most popular hero. Imagine being into Spider-Man, and having to endure Slott that long. Whenever he's in the Avengers, he's written by Bendis. You had these 2 great movies, and then your franchise was raped to death in front of the world, using Slott & Bendis to rape them.
ITT: The most fragile fans are the ones defending the current direction for Spider-Man, which probably means Marvel employees are the most fragile fans of all.
They are quite insufferable power level fags, who constantly switch between claiming that he ain't a mary sue to claiming he can beat anyone cus he's holding back
Personally I don’t have much of an interest in most post-Ditko Spider-Man output. While I haven’t read many comics, just getting a feel for the art tells me how much more unique, creatively fertile and artistic the Ditko output is.
I like characters like Shocker and Jackal, (if I’m not mistaken only the non-creature version of Jackal was introduced during the Ditko run) Scott Johnson’s art of the character is nice, and I’m inclined to see the Raimi presentations again, but other than that all of the post-Ditko output looks like it could be summed up as “Normie-Man”. It’s no wonder Spider-Man is seemingly the most discussed superhero on platforms like Twitter.
I'd understand if maybe the run was just shit but you cannot have the titular character cucked, the love interest cheat and kill a random fucking character that barely appeared in the run and make it out to be a big fucking thing and say that they're fragile. This run is possibly one of his worst in history.
That would probably be Halfags. They are the only fanbase that called in a bomb threat because their favorite character is being replaced. Granted most of those Halfags are probably already dead or suffering from dementia given their age.
Yes. But it’s not entire their fault. They raised that way.

Walter Hardy really did kill Uncle Ben in Spectacular, and the notes for the cancelled future seasons confirmed that Peter and Felicia’s relationship would’ve gotten really rocky because of that.
What is there to imagine?
Ben Reilly knows how that feels
Anon please don't be such a bad loser
i'm sure they'll shit on that in the next arc
Will be invalidated soon enough again and Peter still acts like a manchild during that time who can't move on from MJ. Felicia will never be endgame to these hack writers.
She doesn’t have to be endgame.
Without context yes but it means you're just getting swung around for yet another Peter cucks himself out of a relationship moment for the 1000th
And? Sounds like you just don’t like anything
Lol secondary
>MJfag is angry at facts
Many such cases
>MJ has no character.
>Retarded ESL doesn't read comics: Confirmed
See again
Was that supposed to prove something, schizo?
Don't get to get so defensive MJtard. We all know you can't deal with facts. Just calm down and be happy when your favourite barbie doll who is totally a character because you find her sexy becomes a lawyer or astonaut and falls for Peter Parker who desperately needs a girlfriend
Shut the fuck up.
No. Die mad lmao
Why would I do that?
What are you, the modern media?
You can't just reference unsourced sources to prove facts, you need to use your words and preferably provide comic pages as proof.
>What are you, the modern media?
Lol, is is that supposed to be a joke about how you're seething at the media or something? This ain't /misc/ and you're off-topic.
>You can't just reference
I can actually but I gave you examples already. Now die mad about your modern media who I am definitely. All of them. Especially the ones that make you seethe and cope about MJ not having a character.
Pathetic homosexual.
Jesus Anon just raped OP harder then Marvel rapes Peter
If not the most, definitely in the top 3.
Who's 1 and 2?
And Batman
Superman
It's crazy how Spider-cucks instantly project to these two every single time. Some sort of weird inferiority complex going on there, the obsession is unnatural.
You're really going to sit there and pretend Superfags aren't fragile after spending 6 years whining about Snyder?
Haven't they enjoyed stuff since then, though? Smashes the Klan, New 52's Superbro. Time rarely makes a bad movie good, but Spider-Fans seem to be on perpetual mope mode no matter what happens.
That seems to prove the opposite, they're still there despite Batman getting dumpstered in every matchup and every tr/a/nny that passes through trying to get an epic burn in on Supes for beating Goku.
Death Battle threads
Enough said
Death Battle is fucking cancer no matter what
Bad taste dude. Romita sr just died.
No that would be Superman fans who throw tantrums over slight deviations to the character
nah i think the spider-fandom is very patient and understanding i don't see batfags sticking around if writers treated batman like they treat spider-man
> Being unhappy about the bastardization of a character you like = fragile
ok
The Spot has the most formidable fanbase
There is nothing you can do to hurt us
Hole
In the end, the Hole won
>Spot's going to start getting mandated Spider-Comic appearances until Spider-Verse 3 is out.
Can't wait for Marvel to burn the charm out of him.
Inb4 the big spot event that caps off ASM 50.
>other fandoms clearly go apeshit when the main character is shown to not be who they thought he was in the span of minutes
>Spider-Man fans just get gradually more silently disappointed when Marvel decides to assassinate his character for the 40th time
>"GUYS SPIDER-MAN FANS ARE SOOOOO SENSITIVE"
Get some perspective.
You weren't there, you mud hut monkey. You didn't experience the pain.
It's the exact same thing and you know it.
spiderman has had good runs in the past. good movies, cartoons. he's a comic book cultural mainstay and will continue to have comics made in the future. spiderbros always have the tiny glimmer of hope new writers can someday make spiderman great again.
isayama had one chance and he blew it at the very end. everyone knows damn well now he's a fumblebee and the franchise has no shot from this point forward.
there's a difference.
Spider-man also has been having these reactions since the 90s at the earliest or 2008 at the latest, at some point people kinda expect it.
Oh, fuck off. I'm simply tired of retards like OP complaining that Spider-Man fans are fragile because they don't like what Marvel's been doing to the character when other fandoms have nearly burnt themselves to the ground for less.
>Eren never got cucked by the author's self insert after over 30 years of love-story precedence (despite the author retconning him into loving Mikasa the whole time)
>Eren has never been brought so low as to beg for his or his friends' lives to his enemies
>Eren has a mental breakdown (of which there is precedent of him doing so when emotionally overwhelmed) nearing the end of his life and SNKfags start raising hell at Kodansha, MAPPA, and Isayama to give them the ending they want
>Spider-Man has been brought low enough as to do the equivalent of all three in the name of being LE RELATABLE COMMON MAN and Spider-Man fans simply just get frustrated at modern Marvel writers and move on
>no argument against my point
concession accepted
here's a spot
So Manga examples are just as retarded? The fan base is too cucked to where they delude themselves to think the anime will change anything in the final season
>Spider-Man fans just get gradually more silently disappointed
That's not even remotely true, there's a ton of seething and people taking every bad thing that happens to Peter personally.
"Spider-man has the most fragile fanbase!" they say down below
>I look down from my recliner, and laid back. Having the solace in knowing that their "fraggiling" will happen to them, too.
They will delete spider-threads too, but not this lol.
mary cuntfags ain't spider-man fandom, they just insane and unable to cope with reality
OP here, you're one of the fragile fans I was talking about
No, that's Judaism.
Capeshitters as a whole just have no standards.
>comic fans (the people who give you money) don't like a thing
>double down on it instead of doing what they want
Why stop now? Marvel has been treating its readers like shit for years
"We've decided to make a new character to represent a minority group!"
Cool, good luck with that.
"We've decided that a well-established character is from now on a member of this minority group, and if you don't like that you're a bigot."
Not interested in winning people over, huh?
It's just annoying to see Spider-Man losing EVERYWHERE
>But Spider-Man is supposed to be a loser
>He was never some awkward geek
You underage retards can't be serious. Am I actually the only one who read the Ditko comics
nta but he was literally a harem protagonist
So? He still starts out as an awkward geek. He is also a stalker and a cuck if you believe what Wells writes
You guys seriously have only watched the Raimi movies and it shows.
See
Read The Amazing Spider-Man just once in your life before talking.
He’s a bookworm because he’s focused on his studies, not because he’s some loser outcast. He also had responsibilities both as Spider-Man AND in helping May with the finances, as Ben was the sole provider of the family. He had no time to go to parties when there were more important things at hand.
He is an outcase because he's awkward bookworm. Even the narrator calls him a shy young man.
which is funny because the panels don't show him as shy at all, he's more of an arrogant smartass
That's literally from before he became Spider-Man.
>Peter gained a shitload of confidence after he got bitten by the spider
I've read the Lee/Ditko run, dickhead. Him being awkward is dropped immediately after Amazing Fantasy 15 because he gains some confidence.
>He was never some awkward geek
>O-Okay he was an awkward geek but he became confident I totally read the comics guy!
Congrats on proving my point about
>He was awkward for one issue
>The entire rest of the comic he's a smart mouthed prick that doesn't take anyone's shit
Gee you sure are knowledgeable
>H-He totally wasn't awkward before his origin story
>Okay he but that doesn't count
Just admit you forgot instead of further embarrassing yourself pretending Peter never was an awkward geek and never had an awkward geek moment again even as Spider-Man.
>H-He totally wasn't awkward before his origin story
When did I say that? I said that he gained a bunch of confidence after he was first bitten, which is true. His awkwardness is inconsequential to the story at large, and he spends far more time being a smarmy cunt during the Ditko run then an awkward geek.
And you know this, which is why all of your panels are from AF15 and ASM1
>He was never some awkward geek
You keep doubling down on being a retard.
>Amazing Fantasy #15 doesn't count but the first issue doesn't count as well
Didn't you just say
>He was awkward for one issue, The entire rest of the comic he's a smart mouthed prick that doesn't take anyone's shit
He actually still takes a lot of shit which you would know if you actually read the comics and aren't going through pages in panic mode because you haven't read them before
He takes a lot of shit because he's trying to control his temper so he doesn't accidentally hurt someone
>The entire rest of the comic he's a smart mouthed prick that doesn't take anyone's shit
>He takes a lot of shit because he's trying to control his temper so he doesn't accidentally hurt someone
It's amazing that every response you're contradicting yourself. First he was never a awkward geek, then he was one but only before he became Spider-Man but the he actually is one even as Spider-Man as well but only for issue but then he doesn't take shit no more but he actually still takes it.
>Peter's about two seconds away from punching Flash and breaking his nose
>aha he's so geeky just like me!
There's a big difference between taking shit because you're meek and shy and taking shit because you don't want to do something you'll regret. Peter will almost always say something back he just won't get physical (except for the boxing issue which you probably never made it to)
>N-No you see he wasn't an awkward geek HE CAN'T BE EVEN THOUGH HE WAS, HE WANTED TO PUNCH FLASH AND AWKWARD GEEKS WOULD NEVER WANNA DO PUNCH THE GUY WHO HARRASSES THEM
You gotta stop foaming out of your mouth and actually reply to what is being told to you.
You have zero evidence to support these claims
I gave you pages as evidence and I quoted you 1:1 to show you how contradict yourself despite you not once admitting how you got it wrong only moving the goalpost again and again. Cope harder my dude.
The quote you keep going back to about Peter never being a geek wasn't even me, and literally all of your examples are from the first two issues.
>Peter gained a shitload of confidence after he got bitten by the spider
This is me, and I am right. I'm sorry you got filtered by ASM 8
>20 million answers later and he now pretends that wasn't him
>Also don't ever post anything ever from ASM1 or his origin ever againor any other point where he already is Spider-Man
Lol, lmao.
Minus the shit fight, can ya post the full fight? wanna see more old Spider-Man Kino
OG Peter was anything but awkward. The dude was able to clap back just fine when someone was talking shit.
Those nerd stereotypes are kind of outdated, now we know that real life losers are usually not clean, organized, hard working smart individuals, Peter would be pretty popular irl.
He’d still be an outcast, since he was a bit of a dickhead to people.
14 years was spectacular, Spider-man 3 was 16 years ago.
Honestly, yeah. RaimiPeter is completely at odds with the original portrayal. In fact, Peter and Harry’s dynamic in the movies are the reverse in the comics where Peter is the dominant one.
>Holland bad because... he's not masculine enough for me to self-insert as
>Garfield bad because... reasons
bad because... reasons
he was bad because the movies weren't good
>Holland bad because... he's not masculine enough for me to self-insert as
he is bad because he can't act and has to be caried through every scene and his spider'man is more of a Iron lad than he is Spider'man
>he is bad because he can't act and has to be caried through every scene
What the hell are you even talking about. Both Homecoming and Far From Home end on Peter fighting alone saving the day. His acting is also fine? There is point in the story where what he says is completely contradictory to how he acts
>he was bad because the movies weren't good
TASM was great
>he is bad because he can't act and has to be caried through every scene and his spider'man is more of a Iron lad than he is Spider'man
he saves the day by himself in the climax of every one of his movies
>nooo you have to like the sanitized and boring MCU Spider-bitch
Nah, fuck off.
What makes him sanitized exactly? He's the only one whose Aunt May actually died lol
>oh no, he finally had a loss in his life by the end of a shitty crossover, that totally makes him not sanitized
>let's ignore how he's the most bland and toothless puppy-dog eyed loser imaginable who looks like he's gonna cry at all times
MCUfags are embarrassing.
his biggest fans are the ones writing his comics right now kek
This thread makes it very obvious that you homosexuals projected yourself onto Peter way too much.
>peter was always a downtrodden nerd just like me!!!
You know he's a comic character right? Your life isn't a comic book and you aren't Peter Parker. Wake up.
Fact is that he has relatable aspects to him but he isn't a complete self-insert like most Milestrannies would want him to pretend to be
You made him mad by the way
Yeah, and you can tell they take it extremely personally, especially how the last reply to your post was a twitter post from a seething peter self-inserter.
No, that's Neil Gaiman fans.
Daily Reminder that this guy is the prophet of Cinemaphile regardless about how much you scream about it.
asiaticnagger will never fuck you and he will never be white.
No that's Supermanfags though Spider-manfags at least have a good excuse.
Where the fuck was Planned Parenthood while you were still in utero, OP?
I wouldn't call it fragile. The comics have been shit for decades and there's still a fanbase. That'ss pretty sturdy if you ask me.
No. They're fragile, but they're nothing compared to Batfans, or Thortards, or even Haltards
They're still somehow not as fragile as you
That would probably be Halfags. They are the only fanbase that called in a bomb threat because their favorite character is being replaced. Granted most of those Halfags are probably already dead or suffering from dementia given their age.
Geoff Johns was probably one of them
Fucking yes.
