Mr. Enter was right all along
Yeah, it's too removed from TMNT to be TMNT, yeah other versions changed shit but they still felt like TMNT in their core and it's not like some random alt universe thing like comics might do, it's fucking meant to be mainline TMNT.
>yeah other versions changed shit but they still felt like TMNT in their core and it's not like some random alt universe thing like comics might do
>obscure japanese OVA
I liked it.
Next Mutation is still rated lower
It was decent but may never be accepted by the fan community. Like Beast Machines, if I saw through my blinding hatred for what they did to Beast Wars canon and characterization there was a good show in there somewhere.
I felt like it all came together in the end. But I was also a shit for brains eight year old and haven't rewatched it.
I actually quite like the art style. Pretty unique as opposed to other shows.
>Worst rated TMNT series and not Next Mutation
Shows how good TMNT is if the worst rated one is a little above average.
Ninja Turtles: the Next Mutation has 4.2/10
>Next Mutation is so shit hardly anyone remembers it exist
I just started it yesterday and honestly really like it but more so for its animation and humor and not really as a TMNT series.
is this one worth watching?
The CG isn't the best but otherwise definitely.
Its mediocre. It the same plots keep getting repeated because the characters are incompetent and keep letting things get worse. Also the inflated cast means there's a whole bunch of loose ends they don't resolve.
couldn't tell you since the show's art style repulsed me so much I couldn't stand to watch it.
I like it but it kinda failed as a Turtles series as I wasn't watching it for the Turtles. If it weren't for Splinter's and Big Mama's emerging history together, Foot Recruit's insane lust for power and some of the wacky new villains I wouldn't have bothered picking it up.
It deserves worse. The whole show was shit from the start.
