Rick and Morty is actual mindless garbage and idk how anyone could tolerate this beforehand. Every single character is irredeemably shitty, none of them grow or learns from their mistakes, half of the episodes are regurgitated sci-fi tropes and nothing's really being said. It's not even particularly funny because most of the 'jokes' are just overused shock value and toilet humor. It appeals to the lowest common denominator of a populace.
