My childhood best friend was really fricked for the last 5 years or so. He died back in October. His family and my family tried to help him but he just kept making excuses and rejecting it. It was sad but I couldn’t keep being brought down so I braced for the inevitable. He already had issues it seemed with bipolar disorder which was not properly diagnosed or treated. Then he fricks himself to where he basically had full blown paranoid schizophrenia. He’d stay up for days on end and didn’t take care of himself. Taking insane amounts of shit and would brag about how it didn’t kill him. It was horrible. Like he wanted to die. When I look back to when we were kids, it’s like he wasn’t even the same person at all. I lost him a long time ago.
