Trying out Double D(no variant), making gadgets, and supporting people, is fun and comfy. Not sure why he gets a bad reputation even though I do know he isn't as strong.
88 Fingers, hands down. About the only build I go with for Double D, no cooldown on any of his abilities is good enough if you focus just on buffing the pedal guitar, but combine that with the static slippers and you're basically unkillable as long as you move around here and there.
Stranded space explorer Double D without anything is a perfect all-rounder but with the cone extension, you can take long-range pot shots that can make any Canadian squirt gun users rethink their choices.
Currently levelling a Professor Scam Eddy build in preparation for the huge buff it's getting when the Edtrail expansion drops next week. Might equip him with some endurance-buffing jawbreakers if he starts feeling too squishy.

In-flux after the last update. Peel-out Kevin is still viable despite nerfs, but the meta is nuts right now. Items and equipment that used to be character locked have been made available to some other characters.
Scam Artist Jimmy with the hypno hat is making waves, of all things. He's able to pull aggro, but not on himself, he can push aggro onto other mobs. The Eds couldn't do that with the hypno hat.

It's literally the easiest way to do anything due to the extreme stamina and dmg output, sure, he has debuffs if attacking directly, but you have to cause environmental damage like throwing slides, garbage cans, and if aggro'd enough, houses. >inb4 countered by rolf
Achilles heel, yes, but environmental is still a constant regardless of what character you play as, no one can survive house-throwing Ed.
With the right build, like 88-Fingers Eddward, Edd can be absolutely broken in the endgame. Shame most Edd players are just horny coomers who never actually do content and just ERP in the alleyway.

Objectively, why is Rolf been the most consistently balanced class in the game? Everyone else just swings so wildly from shit to OP far more often when his mechanics don't seem easy to playtest. Not that he's not OP for some events but still.

Didn't the game get datamined back in 2020 and we found that out? Iirc the Nintendo gigaleak when they tried to create the game for Nintendo but ended up getting shelved because development came too late into the Wii's lifespan
Rolf has a lot of tools to work with, intentional or not, and a lot of his counters are easily accessible. He has good base mobility, defense and scam while also working as a DPS thanks to his summons, amplified by his alt classes. Many Doors Rolf, for example, can teleport across the map thanks to an easily accessible glitch, which combined with his DPS makes him a prime choice for the Football raid, but in PVP Sumo Jimmy shuts him down hard.
God I hate Jimmy players. Frick those parasites. Glad there's less and less of them.
They aren't half as bad as Nazz players. I don't think i've ever seen one that didn't RP getting railed in the alley behind the Jawbreakers shop.
If you spam teleporting too much during the Lemon Lumpers raid then you start teleporting directly underneath them and get stomped.
The devs allow the glitch to continue to exist so I don't think it's really a glitch anymore, but they also made it so you WILL teleport directly under the raid bosses if you try to use it to dodge the flaming football attack (if you're in the direct area of impact) or if you use it more than three times per phase.
No real terrible stats outside of scam which can at least be mitigated by a decent Eddy, a lot of utility in his abilities when they aren't fire and forget, more build-exclusive equipment than Jimmy and Kevin combined, devs outright admitted he has a home field advantage in the old country, and that's just what I can think of offhand.
See the real problem this game has is that the mechanics are so fricking esoteric that every other person is completely unaware of some facet of one or another build.
Anyone here play Barber Rolf? Was wondering if it's worth trading base or Son of a Shepard's raw power for more of a supportive role. Those buffs could turn Pebble Ed into an even bigger monster if played correctly.

I may or may not have figured out the cryptic works of the infamous “Jaw-Breaking Guy”. From what I get Eddys Brother was supposedly going to be added into the game during the 2009-2010 Summer-Fall event, Peachalooza. But from what I got, CN bashed it down because of the idea of Child Abuse or something.
So it was remade into a class system for eddy that would’ve turned him into a berserker class untouchable and out broken.

Business as usual, strength optimized boomerang, sumo with a backlog of peaches and cream, hot dog fury for a niche pick. The Jimmy meta's actually been pretty stabilized for the past few years, no real changes to shake him up.
Despite what the name implies, SDCW Jimmy has low base scam, to the extent he's only good in stuff that doesn't use it like Junkyard raid. Even then, someone has to aggro the enemies since he still has low defenses.

I still have my shit from the INVADED! promotional event they did. None of those fricking crossover classes have been updated in years but honestly I feel like Braindrain Eduardo unironically holds up as a debuff tank/off melee dps hybrid.
Yeah probably because not being updated also means not getting nerfed. All of the promotional classes were a bit busted at least on release and that was before you got into some of their very limited build variety. BD Eduardo's ability to just debuff the frick out of people's scams and stack cooldown malluses while also being a meatwall even by some Ed or Rolf builds standards was insane. Powercreep and the fact that like nobody fricking has access to it anymore is the main issue it's just "kinda good"
It wasn't half as bad as Werewolf Billy though, that was the only one of the bunch they actually bothered to patch on account of how toggling the transformation just let you mass fricking cleanse debuffs and trigger burst healing.

Objectively, why is Rolf been the most consistently balanced class in the game? Everyone else just swings so wildly from shit to OP far more often when his mechanics don't seem easy to playtest. Not that he's not OP for some events but still.
I'd probably say its because of the passive ability of his iirc, which basically forces everyone to be on equal playing field no matter what
Didn't the game get datamined back in 2020 and we found that out? Iirc the Nintendo gigaleak when they tried to create the game for Nintendo but ended up getting shelved because development came too late into the Wii's lifespan
Rolf has a lot of tools to work with, intentional or not, and a lot of his counters are easily accessible. He has good base mobility, defense and scam while also working as a DPS thanks to his summons, amplified by his alt classes. Many Doors Rolf, for example, can teleport across the map thanks to an easily accessible glitch, which combined with his DPS makes him a prime choice for the Football raid, but in PVP Sumo Jimmy shuts him down hard.
They aren't half as bad as Nazz players. I don't think i've ever seen one that didn't RP getting railed in the alley behind the Jawbreakers shop.
If you spam teleporting too much during the Lemon Lumpers raid then you start teleporting directly underneath them and get stomped.
The devs allow the glitch to continue to exist so I don't think it's really a glitch anymore, but they also made it so you WILL teleport directly under the raid bosses if you try to use it to dodge the flaming football attack (if you're in the direct area of impact) or if you use it more than three times per phase.

No real terrible stats outside of scam which can at least be mitigated by a decent Eddy, a lot of utility in his abilities when they aren't fire and forget, more build-exclusive equipment than Jimmy and Kevin combined, devs outright admitted he has a home field advantage in the old country, and that's just what I can think of offhand.
See the real problem this game has is that the mechanics are so fricking esoteric that every other person is completely unaware of some facet of one or another build.

I always had this combination with a Sweet Sarah (boomerang sarah)
It seems like the creators really took a liking to the boomerang as a lot of those characters work well together in parties and raids
I may or may not have figured out the cryptic works of the infamous “Jaw-Breaking Guy”. From what I get Eddys Brother was supposedly going to be added into the game during the 2009-2010 Summer-Fall event, Peachalooza. But from what I got, CN bashed it down because of the idea of Child Abuse or something.
So it was remade into a class system for eddy that would’ve turned him into a berserker class untouchable and out broken.
This explains why the Kankers are the best counters.

They brought back the watering hole and Vs. Eddy's brother game mode. But since that happens every summer, not much other than some new skins and jawbreaker flavors.

Despite what the name implies, SDCW Jimmy has low base scam, to the extent he's only good in stuff that doesn't use it like Junkyard raid. Even then, someone has to aggro the enemies since he still has low defenses.

I still have my shit from the INVADED! promotional event they did. None of those fricking crossover classes have been updated in years but honestly I feel like Braindrain Eduardo unironically holds up as a debuff tank/off melee dps hybrid.
Yeah probably because not being updated also means not getting nerfed. All of the promotional classes were a bit busted at least on release and that was before you got into some of their very limited build variety. BD Eduardo's ability to just debuff the frick out of people's scams and stack cooldown malluses while also being a meatwall even by some Ed or Rolf builds standards was insane. Powercreep and the fact that like nobody fricking has access to it anymore is the main issue it's just "kinda good"
It wasn't half as bad as Werewolf Billy though, that was the only one of the bunch they actually bothered to patch on account of how toggling the transformation just let you mass fricking cleanse debuffs and trigger burst healing.
