Hell yeah. I wonder if he got mkultrad. The last third of the book is a crash course in trauma based mind control
>Well akshually Orwell was a big fat chud
>not liking gays and not taking women seriously is spiritually equivalent to a totalitarian state that continuously rewrites history, cracks down on suspected thought-crime, tortures dissidents, engages in endless war just as a means of controlling the slave class, and which can be summed up with the imagery of a boot stomping upon the face of humanity forever.
>anita singh
mmhm
That aptly describes average leftist, which he was. Why is this news?
Direction brains deserve the rope.
Most if not all great men were unlikeable. I don't get how homosexuals today fall over themselves over these past characters as if they had sunshine personalities. It's the height of human hypocrisy to appreciate them after they are dead.
It's why they always say to never meet your heros. People put them on pedestals and then forget that they have all the same flaws anyone else does. The sands of time and distance smooth out those rough edges and people get a very different impression of them.
So was John Lemon..
I like how this is brought up like it's meant to be some shocking secret when he literally wrote lyrics about beating his wife and talked about it in interviews all the time
For my whole life, Orwell was the guy everyone of opposing ideologies universally respected, and used to prop up their own ideologies.
Looks like those days are up.
People realized that he was a white man and therefore evil.
>orwell was himself a disenchanted socialist
>the establishment dem "left" is now so incredibly fake and gay, that it de facto made the repubs an insanely big tent that includes basically everything.
>this is not a victory for anyone, since the L/R split is still gonna be 50/50, no matter what.
it's almost like it's all fake and gay. A perfect century long baton pass every decade.
Normalfags just have the most childish expectations about people who are able to make original insights about human societies and it never occurs to them that such people would not feel comfortable in a world which reveals itself to be disappointing everytime they step outside. I mean the guy just called the world and the people you live with shitty, why would you think he likes any of you? Then when they realize this, they hate the guy instead of admiting that they had stupidly juvenile expectations.
For some reason I read this headline, and thought it was a quote from his wife or some bitch metoo-ing him.
>past thing/person is bad according to current day biased leftist
How original and trustworthy
>woman makes something about her
>news at 11
WTF? I love tyranny now!
I like the part with the rat hat
>walks around suspecting almost everyone unfamiliar with him as an agent of the thought police
>completely acts like a retard with the two men who are very very obviously playing him for a fool

Cinemaphile - Television & Film
They made a movie
A carefully constructed room with beds laden with women from all parts of the earth that the white man had conquered, arranged in ascending order based on time period. I get to fuck them in that order to completion. Absolutely horrifying.
The sound studio I dropped acid in. I'm still there.
I prefer the real Orwell kino.
>Worked as a journalist during WW2
>Knew how the British Government lied to their own citizens during the war
>Write a book about totalitarian regime and its propaganda machine
>People think he was only satirizing Nazi Germany
Orwell was too based.
He new they were lying but understood why. He didn't like it. I don't think anybody who has read 1984 thinks that he wasn't talking about all governments especially communist ones.
I can't believe it's England too.
When you think of civilization, you think of... well... Rome, but when you think of modern society, you think of England. Conducting business in the way we do, the way we dress, the ways we behave and expect to be treated.
Politicians need to act like there is a loaded pistol pressed against their temple and the person holding the gun is angry.
1984
>War is a hoax
>V2 missiles are a hoax
>History is a hoax
>Dinosaurs are a hoax
>Terrorists are a hoax. It is the government doing it all.
>Free press is a hoax
>Language is engineered for mind control
>Even the opposition movements are a hoax
Orwell is based and a 'its all fake' conspiracy theorist. Like myself.
1984 is a very insightful study on authoritarianism but kind of a shitty novel. It has one of those "the bad guys were secretly controlling everything the protagonist did from the start" twists that, however thematically appropriate, is just lame and unsatisfying. I would still recommend reading it, but I was getting into it as a work of fiction for the first half and ended up really disappointed.
I get what you’re saying but the techniques o’brien used to break the protag in the latter end of the book and the goal of breaking the protag were also really well written.
Yes absolutely the depiction of a totalitarian regime at work is great. The story is just weak and only there to provide a framework for the commentary.
>ywn live in the 1920s among great creatives like Orwell, Hemingway, Dali, Picasso, Fitzgerald, Matisse and more
why live?
Because you get to see the collapse of the west at the hand of meddling Marxists who don’t realize that the West made Marx and the whole ethical super-structure that lead to his ideas.
No. the book isn't about the collapse of the west. It is telling you that you have always lived in a 1984 world.
>No. the book isn't about the collapse of the west.
It's pretty compatible with what we are seeing now
>It is telling you that you have always lived in a 1984 world.
lol yo udidn't read it
you are the retarded prole blissfully aware that you already live in that world.
Not everyone is born under current regime, homosexual. Some of use remember.
