There's a decent amount, but not as dedicated to it as a full on martial arts movie like Enter the Dragon or Bloodsport. I think the action scenes are well done if you don't mind that they don't take themselves that seriously though.

Refreshingly non pozzed. They say some about Asian family stereotypes but not much. The movie succeeds in putting out a message of general positivity in the face of nihilism. It’s mostly aimed at angsty teens but it had good action, great effects enough to keep me interested and made me smile a few times. If you have a normie wife/gf she will probably cry and love it. This is the only movie i saw in theaters this year and I think it was a good choice.
I specifically liked Waymond's line about his kindness being a conscious decision and his way to fight. The movie made it work nicely

EEAAO is more about the chinese family accepting the American lifestyle including a pozzed daughter and rejection of traditional Chinese ways. The plot doesn't really make sense (the scriptwriter doesn't understand the villains objective) and heavily relies on le quirky humour.
