It's actually wild how dogshit this documentary is for someone who has the slightest modicum of understanding about nutrition.

Are Big Macs really that unhealthy? Assuming you don't drink soda and eat fries, it can't be that bad for you, right? The salt would be problematic.

The supersize era was after they stopped using animal fats, and had switched to seed oils, because they were cheaper, because they weren’t considered food grade oil until McDonald’s wanted to use them in everything.

Yup, and shockingly people still use seed oils and wonder why they are unhealthy.

Just pickup the goddamn pizza. How hard is it to go into a pizza place (full of other people eating alone typically) order a few slices or one of those designer pizzas and eat it there.
I know in any city from Philadelphia to Providence you can get something decent and the same in most of California and both those places odds are by car or foot you're less than 10 minutes from the place.
If you're anywhere else you're not paying that much for a Pizza.

Nowadays they're relying on fat single mothers ordering oral sedatives for their mongrel rat offspring, not young bachelors like most of the users of this accursed website.

This. The loser gamer with stacks of pizza boxes in his apartment stereotype is now outdated because a guy like that can no longer afford to order food all the time. The food is worse and more expensive than ever.

The issue was McDonald’s was selling literal poison as if it was food, seed oils, extremely high levels of sodium, HFCS, artificial sweeteners in everything, etc, etc, and they justified that on the assumption it’s fine if people don’t eat it every day. And they did it to save a few cents per customer.

      >seed oils, extremely high levels of sodium, HFCS
They only started selling shit with that in it after they made their menu "healthier".

I know almost nothing about nutrition. Right now I eat nothing but chicken, olive oil, onions, mushrooms, salmon, asparagus lots of eggs and milk (and protein drin in morning). I drink on Friday and/or Saturday evening(s) only. How is that for diet? Am I healthy now?

Friendly reminder that Morgan Spurlock lied about being an alcoholic while making this documentary and much of his weight gain and organ damage was likely the result of drinking excessive amounts of alcohol and not from eating McDonald's every day.

Also he admitted to sexually harassing multiple young women while married, he's an all around piece of shit.

Zoomers don't understand how fricked up early 2000s fitness culture was. Bowflex and Splenda everywhere, nobody ate eggs because they thought they caused heart disease.

Pic related was the official FDA recommendation diet.

Love how much this movie triggers this board.
Just more proof of two things:
    >This site has become very right wing because of /misc/'s power
    >Right wingers view everything a liberal says that can be interpreted as political as a debate and assume the opposing position
A couple decades ago Conservatives and Liberals didn't eat different foods.
Now there are people who go "This documentary was propaganda, therefore a Big Mac's handful of Iceberg Lettuce and squirt of ketchup is enough vegetable for me"

The reality is there’s nothing “political” at play and this is just shilling from McDonald’s, angry they couldn’t sell literal poison and call it food to save a few shekels. Kinda like how they can no longer serve coffee at nuclear temperatures to avoid giving free refills.
