Yes. Boys is like one of the most left wing shows going on. Every season after one has been on some sort of commentary on Republicans. There's no way they don't already have plans for the possibility of it.

Like they clearly wanted him to be a out of time racist and a bunch of other things but never actually showed him being one, hell they even had him be less racist to middle eastern people than modern people.
And then the ending fight is forced as frick because nobody was allowed to think logically.

I'm sure this scene made the rounds back when it was released, but does anyone remember in season 2 when Starlight killed this innocent guy for no fricking reason? This man had every right to be weary of the situation and he was justified in brandishing his gun since Butcher literally threatened his life. But the writers quickly characterized him as a le bigoted rightoid so that their libshit audience wouldn't feel bad about his unnecessarily cruel death. It's like they wanted to establish a sense of moral ambiguity but you can tell that the writers took great joy in having this character die for reasons that only a israelite would find to be justifiable.

Homelander says frick it, murders the President and holds the whole US hostage.
