The autism is actually more than just a gimmick and used well, lead actress is great, good cast in general with good chemistry and fun interactions. There is a real sense of progress and growth within the characters. Writing in general is good. Show is really funny at times but the cases can get very serious with no black & white type crap or happy endings.
Only thing I dislike is the usual Kdrama soap shit with the romantic interest (although even that isn't as annoying). And possibly the lost mother stuff but I haven't seen enough of the show to make a judgement on that.

Yeah. Autistic people go through quite a lot of real hardships that people don't understand, but would atleast start to empathize with how hard it is for them, if they only knew. Certainly enough material is there to write a good, honest show about it.
