Imagine seething this hard just because a guy is passionate about his craft. He's devoted countless years of his life developing these games, all he asked for in return is that you played them and just had fun doing it.
I honestly find the quality content to be worth a premium price. Prime Video has such a diverse, massive selection of content that it keeps my entire family entertained. Need a kids show? Boom. They have it. Need a little bit of romance to spice things up? Prime Video turns up the heat. Pulse pounding action? They got that, too. Honestly it's easier to list what they don't have! My wife and I agree that Prime Video is the most entertaining investment we can make for ourselves and our family.
I don't understand why I should care about this show because I can play the game where I can make decisions, that's the point of it. Now I'm going to watch some guy do stuff instead. I might as well watch a streamer

It could very easily compliment the games storyline and save them a lot of time on game development if they manage to expand on the lore in places that fans have asked about for years now like the heart of the NCR or deep into Colorado where the Legion rules unchallenged.

Its meant to be POST post apocalyptic, about rebuilding society and politics and moral conundrums that come with that. Whereas Bethesda just sees it as "lol wacky 50s scifi!" and depicts a world where you'd think the bombs dropped 200 minutes ago rather than 200 years.
Its a group that butchered a franchise handing their butchered franchise over to a group that butchers adaptations. It will not be good, but we all know this anyway, I just needed to rant.

Yeah maybe but the world doesn't really reflect it, around every major settlement in previous ones was tons of farms, ranches, traders, etc, it felt like a developing, living world, in 4 settlements are mostly just plopped down in the middle of nowhere, often surrounded on all sides by crumbling bandit filled buildings. It'd be reasonable to assume from appearances that they were basically just talented foragers rather than actual communities who grow their own food, manufacture their own goods and trade with each other
Since we're likely never to get this in any of the games on the count of Bethesda being mentally challenged, I wish they'd have set the Fallout show in the bayou/New Orleans. So many awesome things you could do with that region it isn't even funny. Too bad the company has an unending boner for the northeast alone.
