Fantastic Four

What are their highs?
What are their lows?
Most of my experience with the Fantastic Four are their cartoons and the early 2000s live action movie.
Also that they were broken up during Marvel's Civil War. Sue and Johnny were with Team Cap (?), Reed was Team Tony, and Ben fricked off to France (?)
Most importantly, best costumes?

    >What are their highs?
The 60s, parts of the 80s and 90s.

    >What are their lows?
I wouldn't say they've been as unlucky as other Marvel characters to suffer some truly unreadable runs, but not many of the runs in the last 25 years have really clicked. The last movie, and Marvel cancelling the book in the 2010s because of movie rights was the lowest point. That, or Johnny's Flame On song.

Pic related for everyone but poor Ben

Did Ben steal Bane's mask? Well, the Thing is a... big guy

It was during the 90s when he got his face slashed by Wolverine.

Why is Reed wearing some sort of flak jacket? Compared to Sue wearing so little but she is wielding a rifle so good on her. The Thing needs a minigum for lolz.
What does Johnny look like with the fire off?

They needed to fill the pouch quota so Reed was the main target.

Never mind that he's got some super rifle Reed probably made

            >Why is Reed wearing some sort of flak jacket?
It's a pouch vest, whatever that is called. Reed is the one character that actually makes sense carrying pouches full of gadgets. Sciencing a problem to death is his real power the stretching is secondary. Carring random sensors, electronic parts and bottles of chemicals so he can do science in the field instead of having to return to base makes sense.

I've never seen this iteration before, but this honestly is the best design work i've ever seen for these guys. The Thing being muscles+heavy weapons along with having a mask to hide his fricked up face really makes me smile for some reason.

Honestly just cover Sue's belly & it would be a solid suit. The exposed belly is is just too much.

That fat frick. I think someone pointed out that it was still selling better than Captain Marvel when she was getting her dozen relaunches.

Master of Doom remains among their best stories ever. Hitch was still about as good as his Ultimates work at that point.

Waid's run was pretty good. Fraction is kinda underrated.
