>Also, to me, if Stranger Things went on any longer than five, I would say it would be ridiculous. I think the Duffer brothers figured out, I would imagine, a perfect ending in five. We didn't even know if we'd do two. So, we're happy that people still are around and want to watch it. But yeah, I'm excited. Four was huge in scale, but I think I'd like to see the fifth season draw back on more of the dynamics of season one, and sort of be a little more contained, but also still be gigantic. I hope we kind of get an ending for each character that's pretty satisfying for fans."
is /ourboy/ right?
>rich actor wearing hobo pants
why do rich people want to be poor so bad
It's cute
It's a flex, like
>I'm so rich I can dress like shit and get away with it
Like face tats but with far less commitment
It's street fashion from Japan morons
>japan invented patches on ripped jeans
weebs are mentally ill
>it’s akshually from Japaaaaaan
Do you realize how fricking gay you sound? Stfu bozo
You ain’t got no Rizz or drip fr and that’s ong
Being rich doesn't automatically give you a fashion style or a desire to wear expensive shit
It reminds me of a skit Patrice had. White guys try to be grimy and tattered looking while blacks immediately try to prove their worth in gold chains and gaudy clothing
Easy for him to say when he’s fully booked.
The other actors will probably be homeless after the show finishes
Harbour will do fine. Sadie and Millie have a few years left to play their cards right. As for the rest, yeah it's over. Maybe Maya Hawke can score some nepotism roles but she's fricking awful
Tbf the other kids namely Gaten and Caleb don't seem to try that hard to stay relevant. I think they are done with Hollywood, and Finn to lesser extent. Coincidentally they also seem to be the most agreeable personality-wise out of the kids
You have to be slightly insane to be successful in Hollywood, it's not for normal people.
Slightly liberal, slightly degenerate, slightly connected familially...
Have you seen the “Beyond Stranger Things” behind the scenes segments? Most of the kids look like they have crippling autism and are constantly on edge
>kids are nervous and fidgety in front of a camera
Call the cops
That's probably just because they're all really young and didn't really know how to behave in front of a camera. They only did the Beyond Stranger Things segment for season 2 so the kids were like 13-ish.
Stranger Things peaked here
Correct. I like think the story ended with that beautiful moment. Really there was no reason for the story to continue after that, everything about it was wrapped up perfectly.
That season in general gets an unfairly bad rep.
Season 2 was quite good. It was just kind of more of the same though. But then Season 3 was also more of the same, but a second time, and fricking bad. Season 4 was actually something different feeling and good. But S2 is still probably better even if it was a bit more of a retread. It still had some of that magic carrying over from S1. And Sean Astin.
>But S2 is still probably better even if it was a bit more of a retread. It still had some of that magic carrying over from S1.
It wasn't really a retread, just a direct continuation of S1, and never meant to be anything else. It just took all the important plot threads left hanging from the first season and then went about tying them up. It felt like a natural progression from where S1 left off, whereas the other two have these really jarring tonal changes that never really get settled, and they just feel all over the place because of it.
S1 and S2 are like one story, whereas S3 and S4 feel more like fanfiction.
I actually didn't know they were written together, now I feel even more vindicated in how I feel about it.
Season 2's ending was so tight and perfect they had to make up some faceless russian bullshit enemies to keep it going
The script of season one and two were written together, it was supposed to be one whole arc. Makes sense that they were similar in quality
>There was one particularly rough panic attack that Wolfhard remembers from the set of Stranger Things. (“Classic me,” he adds.) He was filming a scene with his co-stars Gaten Matarazzo and Caleb McLaughlin, who play Mike’s pals Dustin Henderson and Lucas Sinclair, respectively, on the show. As it happened, the Duffers stopped filming, and Matarazzo and McLaughlin sat there quietly and hugged him.
>“Gaten and Caleb, we’re for life. Bonded for life,” says Wolfhard, grinning. “They were like, ‘Dude, we’re the only people that know what it’s really like.”
>There was one particularly rough panic attack that Wolfhard remembers from the set of Stranger Things. (“Classic me,” he adds.)
Why in the name of Christ is a 12 year old having panic attacks?
High stress, unfamiliar environment? Being in a set surrounded by adults? Long working hours?
Being diddled by producers?
Oh please... he's an actor living out the stuff of his wildest dreams (being part of a huge hit)
I'd be having a fricking blast if I got to live out my dreams, not having panic attacks.
If the situation is overwhelming enough, you can have "panic" attacks over good things too, anon.
I get that it can be a little overwhelming when you're a 12-13 year old kid, but you're an actor. You're literally living the dream. There is zero reason to having a panic attack. Just have fun and enjoy it.
People get nervous exactly because they're doing things they care about. They feel indifferent for things they don't care about; just like people get nervous on a date.
How do people talk like they have zero common sense lol. Do you have any real life experience at all? Are you an alien?
I just don't have any stage fright myself. I also enjoy things even more when I realise how good I have it.
Getting a panic attack doing something you love is ridiculous.
jerking off to kiddie porn doesn't count obviously
Seems like rest of the cast was, he's the only one who seems to have panic attacks
>12 year old having panic attack
>"Classic me" on top of that
So it's not an isolated case... having panic attack while living your dream out... the frick is wrong with these people.
He's a neurotic israelite
It happened when he was 15 or 16. Adolescence and early adulthood are the most common periods to develop anxiety disorders
SOUL
What a fricking pussy
The original group of the kids really has the best chemistry, not surprised when their actors are also best friends; Finn, Caleb and Gaten are the nicest kids in the cast too. The show suffers when they made separated plot lines for them.
Yeah together they're SOVL. Apparently season 5 will bring them back together
Season 5 needs to just go back to Mike, Dustin, Lucas and Eleven. Cut out the rest of the kids, they're irrelevant. Will is shit, Max is shit, Erica is shit. The original 4 from the first season were what made the show so memorable.
I could do without Eleven as well. Send her on some mission with the gay. Mike, Lucas and Dustin plus Steve, Nancy, Joy and Hopper would be kino
The 3 boys plus Eleven is the show though. Take out Eleven and there's no reason for it to exist anymore.
Throw in my homie Mr Clark too.
I swear if season 5 doesn't start with the army blasting the shit out of giant monsters while Eleven levitates and mind fights Vecna I won't even bother watching the whole thing
All I want out of S5 is a beach episode where El wears a thong. I have zero interest in anything else regarding this story
Wouldn't work having stacy Eleven in the beach with this hideous pale wormy skinny bug
That picture was taken with the flash on. Also, there's nothing wrong with having light skin.
Just make him wear a baggy t-shirt. Problem solved
Quintessential twink body
It wouldn't work because it'd look like a pedophile mom creeping on a teenage boy
I don't mind being in a Wolfhard-Mclaughin-Matarazzo sandwich if that means I could molest Finn as part of the deal
>Harbour will do fine
I really don't think so. He's been struggling outside of Stranger Things and people just see him as Hopper in everything. He's going to go back to being an obscure character actor when the show ends.
>Sadie
She's kind of a flavor of the month actress. She got a big bump from her characters prominence in season 4 of Stranger Things and people finally noticed that she existed, but she doesn't seem to be capable of or even interested in playing anything but minor variations of herself. She's likely to fall off the radar when the show ends.
>Millie
She's pretty much already established herself and is bouncing around between a bunch of different projects in different genres to show off her range, which is probably the right choice with the show ending so soon, as she seems to be making a serious effort to not get typecast post-ST. Plus, given that she's already got another franchise outside of ST that seems to do reliably well with audiences her future is probably the safest out of the group.
>Finn
He's the biggest wildcard, because his talent seems to fluctuate wildly depending on how interested he actually is in the project. He has a really bad habit of phoning it in super hard and super obviously for things he's lost interest in, like Stranger Things, but also seems like he can give a great performance when properly motivated. This could bite him in the ass if he pisses off the wrong director with it, but he's also interested in writing and directing so I could see him having a future as one of those autistic auteur indie filmmakers.
>Habour
I like Habour outside of his liberal crap. He's just had bad luck with projects.
>Sadie
She's obviously just a pretty face, like Anya, so she'll probably be in a ton of movies in the next few years
>Millie
She's pretty committed to Netflix's goyslops so far. She's done nothing really stands out so far. Funnily enough I'd say her male equivalent would be The rock lol
>Finn
Like harbour, I like him. Also has bad luck with projects. I think he just enjoys doing small, random projects anyway
>She's obviously just a pretty face, like Anya
She's mediocre as frick, especially compared to Anya. And Anya is actually a good actress, Sadie is not
Harbour is a pretty good actor. He's got an HBO show lined up already with Pedro Pascal and if nothing else he's got the MCU to fall back on. That christmas movie did better than anyone expected it. Sadie, apart from being a mediocre actress, has terrible taste for choosing projects, Dear Zoe is terrible, and now she's doing 2 small movies, one of them a "rock opera". MBB has nothing outside of Netflix so far
>MBB has nothing outside of Netflix so far
The MonsterVerse might not be done with her just yet.
delusion
Stranger Things having more than 1 season is ridiculous
This show was boring midway through the first season. I can only imagine how tedious it got. The first few episodes were cool because the atmosphere was well done but then it became obvious where it was going and I had no more interest.
Agreed.
Season 3 and 4 already felt like a slog to go through. And Millie already looks a thousand years old after spending so many years on this show.
It should be 3 season max.
>It should be 3 season max.
You mean should have been, moron. It already went past 3 seasons.
Is he intentionally dressing like chris chan?
I'd bet the price of that outfit is more than Chris ever made in a year. It costs a lot to look so stupid.
Actually, fun fact: it's not!
>d bet the price of that outfit is more than Chris ever made in a year
So more than zero?
Yes
he is so ugly.
It's not the best picture of him, but he usually looks great.
I would say him and Sadie are the ones that would actually benefit from moving on from the show. Both of them almost lost their A24 roles because of the schedule of filming ST.
Millie would probably be more or less the same since all of her other projects are on Netflix anyway.
The Duffers already have plans for anime and tv spinoffs, right?
Yeah I agree it would be ridiculous
Yeah. Finn Wolfhard said Netflix is gonna keep milking it.
Finn Wolfhard replies to fans on Cinemaphile when
What about that one telltale games game that got cancelled? Telltale games is now alive again so it’s only logical the project would be revived, right?
Right
I wish I could give him a handjob
you and me both, anon.
>Noooo you can't just keep focusing on the other members of the cast, make me the main character again!!!!!1one!
Mike/Finn is fricking washed up.
Byeler endgame or we riot
Who are you quoting?
Your mother in the last gangbang we had her in.
Imagine if Finn starts lifting
he's probably sick of every company including tampon manufacturer using his face to advertise their products
Mens can have period too
Mfer looks like a jojo character
Finn in going to write and direct some real kino one of these days
3 was clearly too many
>His eyes soften when I mention his costar, Noah Schnapp, coming out on TikTok a few weeks ago: “When I saw it, I just had a big smile on my face. I was just really proud of him.”
Byler confirmed
Why does Tim Dillon mention this guy so much? And it always sounds like he has a problem with him despite never saying what it is.
I noticed that too, lol. Apparently his comedian friends also worked in Finn's movie he just directed. He probably wants to frick the shit out of the twink too.
holy frick I'm so sick of israeli nepotism
Just because he's israeli and famous doesn't mean that he's famous because he's israeli. Also people who complain about nepotism are pathetic. Yeah, nepotism happens. What do you want me to do about it, start screaming?
People who cry about nepotism, especially about cute girls getting roles because of it, are absolute fricking homosexual trannies who wish THEY were being lusted after, instead of being a regular guy who just wishes to frick the actress.
His nepotism... from his nazi connection?
> Finn is descended from John Wolfgang Wolfhard, who was born, in 1903, in Bichofingen, Germany. John was the son of Karl Adolf Wolfhard and Mathilde Guth. Mathilde was a pastor’s daughter. Finn’s paternal grandfather is named Michael Richard Wolfhard.
Holy frick. I’m never watching this show again. Can’t believe Netflix is willingly working with a nazi chud
>John Wolfgang Wolfhard
I heard his forefather Olaf Wolfhound Wolfclaw Wolfviking Wolfenstein Wolfhard was an actual Viking
Finn prefers asian pussies
This is just cope since his character was written into irrelevance after season 2. I ended up fast forwarding through all his scenes with him and the homosexual brothers and the DUDE WEED guy on the car trip in season 4 after seeing they added nothing to the plot.
more like finn tryhard. he'll probably end up in endless seth rogens b-films before getting a job in his dads accountancy firm shortly before his suicide.
