the direction was bland it dragged at few points and it's not as subversive as Rian wanted but when it doesn't drag it's a fairly entertaining whodunit and a cast is solid, like a 6/10 overall
I agree with what you say, and will only add that Daniel Craigs accent was a little over the top at some times, and that bothered me a bit. But maybe that was deliberate. I think 6/10 is probably a fair score.
my favorite movie of that year and i haven't seen anything nearly as entertaining since. the one truly great thing this chubby moron ever made aside from that LCD soundsystem music video.
>Instantly guess it’s Chris Evans, literally all the evidence points to him >Nah that’d be too easy, surely it’s someone else >Think up an elaborate reason for it be Daniel Craig being both investigator and criminal >Syke it’s actually just Chris Evans
Weakest whodunnit I’ve ever seen in my life
you sound like the kiddos who shit on the usual suspects because "muh twist sucked". if your enjoyment of a film hinges on not being able to figure something out or rewatch it knowing the twist, you are a braindead moron and you should have a nice day from a goalpost so the world can see it and know that one less moron is around fricking things up for the rest of us.
That's not the issue rian. The whole film was set up like clue. Even the main poster, shows it is a mystery. But the mystery is revealed at the start of the film and the director pretends we were sleeping for the first half of the film. I agree with other anons above 6/10
Sherlock Holmes with Iron Man
LA Confidential
Gone Girl'
Prisoners
The Nice Guys
Kiss Kiss Bang Bang
Though none of them capture the comfy Poirot-style light-hearted mystery of Knives Out. I'm hyped about the sequel

Who has the recent and still up WG troll screen cap
Watched this at a drive-in. Was suprisingly good despite the libtard propaganda, but not something worth watching twice.

>The whole film was set up like clue.
my disappointment was overwhelming by how the movie played out
Whodunnit recommendations?
Sherlock Holmes with Iron Man
LA Confidential
Gone Girl'

The Nice Guys
Kiss Kiss Bang Bang

high IQ whodunnit
dude white people so privileged and bad
I thought it was going to be about everyone pulling knives out and stabbing each other to death
I’m disappointed
imagine being such a bad writer you have to have a character that cant lie be fundamental to the plot
shit sandwich
ana de armas
I didn't even recognize her when watching the movie. Why hire Ana if you are not going to get her naked?
I know, it is such a fricking waste
it was enjoyable, though picrel did it better
Now that the dust has settled, was it all part of her plan?
why did they get ana to play the poor latina girl when she's white?
More like Cringe Evans amirite
