This isn’t true at all the Boston bombing was on 2013, 6 years after the ATFH guerrilla marketing ploy.

They made a ATHF publicity stunt which consisted of putting these around different parts of Boston, Americans being Americans thought they were bombs and it all lead to a controversy which ended with the then ceo resigning and being replaced with a very awful one and it's been that way since, each new ceo being almost equally as bad.

          >Americans being Americans
shut up moron it was in multiple cities, not just Boston, and Boston was the only one who flipped out.

Why do zoomers try telling other zoomers about recent history they aren’t even familiar with?

I actually am baffled 2 edgy stoners made a good CEO step down with the after shocks still being felt to this day.

This was before the Boston bombing essentially Bostonians were kind of coping because they thought they were important enough to get a terrorist attack so they spent the longest time being scared or just expecting their own 9/11 they started to calm down after this embarrassment and completely stopped once they got their bombing in 2013

I thought the Boston bombing was after in 2013? Either way, the even was only a few years after 9/11 and people were still pretty freaked out about terrorists. Bombs had been placed around infrastructure before, so the response wasn't completely unreasonable. Look at it this way, all the gen Xers and boomers at the time weren't tech literate on average. As the police, you get several calls about masses of wires, tape, and lights hidden around the city. Would you take the risk?

Nah, its the fault of the israeli advertising company they employed, who literally had one of their "artists" at the scene of the crime when it happened and told him to keep quiet. That's why several of them went to prison. Yes, the zogbots were obviously overzealous as usual and probably itching just to blow shit up, but considering the devices were hanging their for like two days before anyone even reported them to police, seems like they failed their job as advertisements anyway, and a lot of the problems could have been resolved by better communication by the advertising company.

I think one important thing to note that some summaries of the situation leave out, is that Boston has a notoriously bad road system. So shutting down a couple of the most trafficked roads in the city (coincidentally, the best places to put advertisements) over a bomb scare can effectively shut the whole town down and cost everyone millions of dollars. That’s a lot of both workers and consumers just stuck in their cars for hours not getting to any of the businesses they need to get to, causing those businesses to just bleed money that whole time. Not to mention the tax dollars going to this huge emergency response operation.

    >CEO, who probably had no idea what marketing was doing, takes responsibility and steps down.
This is in such stark contrast with other recent marketing missteps like Budweiser. This is why C-suites have so many psychopaths - they self-select for it. When things go bad, honest people remove themselves out of sense of honor no matter how little their involvement, while psychopaths would deflect to the bitter end no matter how directly responsible they are.

    Order of fault
Boston for existing > Boston's employees > Boston's residents > the dipshit artist who created a light brite board with exposed wires and PCB boards like some kind of actual frickwit > Turner/Time Warner for owning and creating CN > CN for creating Adult Swim > Adult Swim for paying the dipshit artist > Anyone involved with ATHF production who were just doing their jobs making a beloved but shitty low budget stoner show that aired at midnight
Thus, the CN CEO was at fault because the parent company who actually had television to run needed someone to blame and wasn't about to give a flying frick about the situation that led Adult Swim or ATHF to doing anything, just who was in charge of the whole ship at the time.
Corporate executive decisions just happen that way, and it was really just the result of dumb misfortune in a sensitive city.

It wasn't 'spammed' on Adult Swim until after the revival. Prior to the re-ignition of its popularity, it was in rotation in Adult Swim's line-up but they had a varied line-up at the time. Then the steady viewership, compounded with the DVD sales, inspired Fox to revive it. It was only then that Adult Swim would further embrace it (in part, because it now had more content to syndicate) and would bring in viewers, due to Family Guy now being even more popular than when they started airing re-runs. This was then followed by Futurama leaving Adult Swim to air on Comedy Central, leaving them with a larger hole in their roster which Family Guy (and American Dad) filled.
And this was all following the time the controversy OP was referring to

      https://i.imgur.com/eGSLfhL.jpg

*forever destroys Cartoon Network and Adult Swim*

which drastically altered the procedure at Adult Swim, CN, and Warner. One would assume that, in a period of turmoil, Adult Swim likely enacted a schedule to bring-in additional profits as to please their parent companies.
I don't get why or how you are trying to frame Adult Swim as the bad guys here? That they aired content and people enjoyed it?
