Its better just to focus more on the Cleon-Demerzel AI Oedipus sub-plot which is I think is far more compelling . But if you do have an irrational hatred of nigresses, this isnt the the show for you.
Just say that you're illiterate and leave the thread, moron. Show-runners are people like Vince Gilligan, not the lead actors/actresses, you mongoloid.
I tried to get into it but couldn’t make it passed episode 3 of the first season. I laughed when they paired that orc with that guy. This show hilariously awful.
it makes me seethe. That bitch Salvor is supposed to be the main character and she's basically an ugly obnoxious bitch. It would've worked if it was a man but as a woman it's fucking repulsive. These big tech Apple garden gnomes all need to be round up and put a bullet in each skull
Yeah, felt like I was watching my annoying cunt of a cousin tryna act like someone with authority. She even looks like her. She didn't feel like royalty at all. The producers have clearly dropped the ball when casting the main brown zoomer actresses. Everyone else was OK as casting choices.
She's not supposed to be royalty, she only is because Day murdered everyone in the line of succession ahead of her because he thought she'd be easily manipulated as she had none of the training the proper royals go through.

Season 1 Day was smart imho. He wanted to adapt the dawn with flaws and evolve the Cleonic dynasty in that way which could prevent it from stagnating. however Demerzel couldnt let it happen because of Cleon 1's instructions
>the head of a galactic empire decides on a bride because he thought something based on what exactly
He wanted an alliance and resources of her home planet/kingdom as the empire is dwindling slowly. But most of their royal family could easily undermine him, so he had all of them killed leaving her as the heir to that planet/kingdom. The thinking was she is young and stupid an could easily be controlled.
>didn't he send spies to assess her
Would have only heard she was young and stupid
>then instantly he's in shock when she doesn't play ball, OH NO HOW COULD THIS HAPPEN TO ME I DID EVERYTHING RIGHT
That his ego, he never had anyone undermine him like that let alone someone he though he could easily control
All of this is pretty much laid out in the show, pay attention

Now that I think about it, the show was trying to convey that this Day studied lot about Hari and wanted to avoid Hari's predictions. So Day oes this by planning a marriage. All of this was conveyed in the show across multiple episodes and the execution was not that great for this when you think about it.
Should have shown him visually studying about Hari, lusting over Demerzel and discussing the plan to get some royal bride that can be easily controlled. The show could have done a better job rather than just relying on dialog

Sometimes I wonder if Sctipt writers are getting screwed over by Hollygarden gnomes because they honestly lack the talent of previous gen of writers. Because this is so obvious, yet the showrunners cannot apply these common-sense ideas tells me script writing is in the shitters and theres too many suits involving themselves in the creative process.

It was mentioned before but very subtly in dialog iirc and could easily get missed.

He didn't account for her mentor learning how to reverse the mindwiping tech that they use on their concubines - that's supposed to be impossible. Since she was able to remember how fucked up he is she was able to train the heiress on how to deal with him in order to seek revenge. It's all explained in the show.

Demerzel is almost certainly going to murder Rue (and Dusk) and I'm very much looking forward to her tears over that.
She's still has royal lineage and grew up within the royal family. Like most royal members, she should have received proper training even if she wasn't in line for succession or had plans for royal marriages.
She was groomed by Dusk's former paramour specifically to pass the smell test of the clones while also also being groomed for the throne. Dusk's ex-gf used to have her mind wiped every night and then she found a way to have to memories restored and used her knowledge of him to train her highness for getting close to Day.
We know from the Foundation podcast that Gaal's narrations are set far in the future so she's going to be around a while I think, though there's probably going to come a point that she gets written out because there's only so many times you can have her go into stasis before it starts getting ridiculous
Wasn't it the Invictus that crashed onto Terminus and destroyed the planet?
No I think Terminus and all its inhabitants are ded. It's most likely why establishing a second foundation was so important to Hari since they needed additional contingencies. Also I think the Prime Radiant that was handed to Cleon has a copy of the vault and Hari and he was making a play by offering it to Dermezel. The waternigress is right, hari does not care about the individual and is willing to sacrifice millions for his greater cause.
That's what Day intended to happen but it was spinning up like it was jumping the whole time it fell, and there was no wreckage, jump ships work by creating a small black hole in the center which is what I think caused the damage to the planet. The second Foundation was to nudge the first Foundation if necessary, not to totally replace it, and if things did happen exactly as Day thinks they did it was monumentally stupid of Hari to declare war on Empire as they lost with almost no casualties in Empire's side, but Hari claimed that it was a mathematical certainty that they would have won.
Day evacuated the important people himself. He had his guards round up all of the scientists remember? The planet is gone but the people that make foundation are with Day.
The scientists are the ones who build the cool shit but Foundation only spread because of the Priest and thousands of people that have been raised on the stories of Hari Seldon, they'll basically be back at square one, worse in fact because this time there isn't an army of loyal supporters to start over with again, just imprisoned scientists who think Hari was a failure of a leader that got all their friends and family killed for nothing.
>they'll basically be back at square one,
They won't. Hari acknowledged that the priests era was just a phase that he predicted. Also the first foundation was meant to be the test foundation. It's where they push the envelope to steer away from war while the second foundation carried on with the real plans.
One of the priests is also also still alive along with her bf who befriended the spacers.
Didn't they succeed in spreading their pseudo religion to the outer reaches? I doubt they'd need to start back to zero, but yeah, I think there will be a bit of civilisation network rebuilding again, with the second foundation reestablishing another headquarters planet and strengthening ties and military build up with the barbarian planets. Season 3 will possibly be another 100 year time jump with cryosleep , which should coincide with foundation peaking again witg its second iteration amd the rise of the psychic freak and his army.
Spacers are very much aware that Cleon wants Terminus spacer free tech for himself. They'd be stupid not to have insurance. They're dangerously redundant whether they fear the Empire wrath or not, they're going to be eliminated by Cleons eventually when they have their own working spacer free Jumpships
One of the worst performances of actress on any show I've ever seen. She played this straight sassy/cunty 21st century black woman on Twitter. Literally could not finish this episode it was so stupid. Once again Lee Pace is being absolutely wasted on an otherwise awful cast.
It's so hilarious imagining this being the hero fo Isaac Asimov epic, a menopausal looking lesbian moron. And she has a love interest simping for her. So fucking retarded
Why did Cleon create clones of himself when its clear memory copying tech exists? He could just copy his memory into a new body when he dies.
Why even have a body at all, his hologram is virtually sentient anyway as his Hari's. The series makes a big show and tell about mortality yet show effective immortality around every corner.
Maybe having a dozen lifetimes of memories and experiences can screw up the human mind. At that point, you might aswell just upload your unconscience into a robot or evolutionary AI quantum computer that can handle that much Data like Hari but I guess thats against muh intergalactic anti AI/Robot laws
An immortal robot emperor would lead to a rebellion and someone nuking the datacenter. People dont like it when the guy they hate doesnt ever die, even having the clones is pushing that line
Its why demerzel uses stooges instead of running empire herself
>Why did Cleon create clones of himself when its clear memory copying tech exists? He could just copy his memory into a new body when he dies.
Maybe Cleon 1 felt that would still be a copy/clone of him which it technically would. The show even calls the clones as shadows of Cleon 1. Also Cleon 1 saw the clones being raised from infants as a way to have children with Demerzel while also establishing his legacy
My headcanon is that transporting memories wouldn't work.
When Harri is "brought back", his body is an old man, not when he's young. So I think they haven't (fully) solved the normal issue of alzheimer's and degradation of the mind. A human brain can't sustain hundreds of years of memories.
The holograms aren't sentient. They use computer programs and algorithms to replicate it but they are just computer programs. And that's probably why the technology was banned. >but they put the hologram into a living body!
It will be interesting to see where this goes in future seasons but I suspect that the transfer wasn't as clean as everyone assumed. Either we will learn that that Harri is severely mentally impaired in some way or he'll suffer painful after-effects since the memories he has from when he was a hologram weren't human thoughts. >tldr; Harri hasn't actually been brought back from the dead
Also also, the masses would never agree to be led by a hologram. So even if everything I wrote about holograms not being human is proven to be incorrect, a simple answer can be boiled down to the practice being outlawed (assumedly due to religious thoughts, that has been touched on, along with implications about life and death that they don't want to deal with) and the complete inability for a hologram to do anything.
So it's only possibly a plothole if it's later shown that they can transfer to younger bodies without issue. >but the mentalist lady
She's literally psychic with magic powers, yes.
It's explained in the last episode. Demerzel is the real ruler and his clones are just a front. I'm not sure why he randomly decided to give her mankind on a silver platter but it is what it is.
It's super comfy.
I'm glad that it isn't too popular (yet) so that there isn't a constant stream of /misc/ shitposting but it's kind of sad that it's impossible to discuss without bookfags whining that it isn't a faithful adaptation of the book.
Lee Pace is awesome in this. I was saddened when I discovered he was gay married and blowing loads in his twink husband's asshole instead of raising the next generation of Paces.
>Lee Pace is awesome in this. I was saddened when I discovered he was gay married and blowing loads in his twink husband's asshole instead of raising the next generation of Paces.
What an absurd waste of good genetics.

i loved the Grand Huntress storyline
and Gaal before she met boring Hardin
and nothing's come close to Day's pilgrimage storyline yet
season 2 is for constant attention-needing drivel
After 2 episodes I just skipped all the parts with entitled Blackid cunts and sassy w*men. The Empire scenes are kino, I'm glad you don't even need to watch the other shitty plots to follow them
Even Redditfags agree. I just wonder if the showrunners are taking a hint and are slowly decreasing these cunts airtime compared to the Empire segments in season 2. Would be nice if fan servicing actually did something good. Season 3 could have less annoying zoomer actresses and more empire court intrugue. A few deaths would be nice too

I was always interested in the concept of the books and was excited about a show until 1.) I saw black people and 2.) I don’t want to sign up for apple +
>skip every scene with a character I don't like >end up only watching the empire scenes
This has served me well since episode 4 or 5 of S1. Although one episode a few weeks ago was only like 5 minutes long which was annoying.
>gay military pilots
skipped >black women
skipped >pox marked whiny bri'ish math guy
skipped >fat brown people in robes
skipped >old brown woman with the lazy eye who
skipped >brown guy I think was a thief or something >skipped
it truly does make the show watchable. I wish I started this sooner. Empire is the only character who matters. Long live cleon the clone emperor!
Just say that you're illiterate and leave the thread, moron. Show-runners are people like Vince Gilligan, not the lead actors/actresses, you mongoloid.
personally all the anti-woke shit here is way more boring
anytime you want to have a discussion about anything, almost every single thread gets overrun by people whining about trannies/blacks/women or whatever
I like them both the show was really being hindered by just having one good actor last season but having 2 this season really turned the whole ship around. Hari really makes the mom and daughter part of the show watchable cause they were fucking annoying by themselves.
I just have endless questions now though like where the fuck does the show go from here now that terminus is destroyed. is there a second foundation somewhere hidden.
I stopped watching the first season when the ugly black woman showed up. Is she still in the show?
she's literally the fucking show-runner
>show discarded
god she's really ugly too
Its better just to focus more on the Cleon-Demerzel AI Oedipus sub-plot which is I think is far more compelling . But if you do have an irrational hatred of nigresses, this isnt the the show for you.
Nothing irrational about it m8
>But if you do have an irrational hatred of nigresses, this isnt the the show for you.
I didn't mind the one introduced in the pilot, but I hated the second one.
gaal is doing a fine job, the warden is annoying and the priestess downright insufferable (and im glad she got killed)

Show-runner means the one who runs the show behind the camera and not the lead
Words mean whatever I want them to mean in that moment. Fuck you.

Yes, theres more now.

This show is very enjoyable if you skip all the Salvor scenes!
Salvor isnt that bad, its fucking Gaal, she's insufferable.
at least gaal looks kind of cute. salvor is an eye sore in every sense
And she can’t act for shit.
it makes me seethe. That bitch Salvor is supposed to be the main character and she's basically an ugly obnoxious bitch. It would've worked if it was a man but as a woman it's fucking repulsive. These big tech Apple garden gnomes all need to be round up and put a bullet in each skull

butch, dusgusting lesbian looking subhuman. Just want to smash her moron face in a curb every time i see the bitch
she's an order of magnitude less annoying than Gale
both are obnoxious cunts at least i can imagine hate fucking Gaal. The other groid i just want to kill
Gaal is easier on the eyes at least
Gaal is best
Do i need to watch the first season to understand the second. I read the first 3 books years and years ago.
I hate the watermoron and this fucking bitch
they can't act for shit
this one is like she learned from hip hop clips
yea you need to but more importantly for the s1 empire storyline which is OC and the best in both seasons

Pic related is how this character should have been. Was this negress even acting? She was talking like Al Sharpton.
btw he dabs on her
Why are casting directors obsessed with casting the most hideous black women they can find?
Gaal and the princess engaged to Cleon are both pretty hot.
She’s not bad looking, but her hair is butch as hell.
I think they purposely cast a masculine looking actor as the character needs to perform masculine stuff

She's literally psychic with magic powers, yes.
>>but they put the hologram into a living body!
I'd still put even odds that Hari is in a robot body
That would explain how he didn't drown
It's explained in the last episode. Demerzel is the real ruler and his clones are just a front. I'm not sure why he randomly decided to give her mankind on a silver platter but it is what it is.
It's super comfy.
I'm glad that it isn't too popular (yet) so that there isn't a constant stream of /misc/ shitposting but it's kind of sad that it's impossible to discuss without bookfags whining that it isn't a faithful adaptation of the book.
This show is only good when white people are on the screen.
When those two nigresses appear I fast forward.
What an absurd waste of good genetics.
don't lose hope, he's bi, he might fertilize females too in a near future!
It focused more on the Empire plotlines than Salvor & her mom's. Which is smart considering Lee Pace is pretty much carrying thewhole show on his back
He is just like me.
kino
perfectly cleon
How long would you last in that shrouded state ?
As long as Empire wishes it, because I have precisely zero other choice.
Whatever is her natural lifespan, I'm sure Day will have had the best doctors Empire has looking after her, she probably survived at least a century.
I am sure the body can be kept alive but surely the mind would collapse.
Me too. I’m genuinely intrigued.
The Emperor is supposed to be a minor character.
Well considering Lee Pace is pretty much carrying this show, they have no choice but to change stuff and expand on it
actually it's getting worse
Did you know that the last 2 episodes were directed by B'Elanna Torres from Voyager? She also did episodes 8 and 9 in season 1.
Last episode was one of the best for sure.
>skip all the Terminus shit
>fast-forward all the Gaal-mentalics shit
>enjoy the Cleon kino
simple as
retard
seethe
he's way too quirky in my opinion, and the awkward relationship with Brother Constant is painful to watch
Hober Mallow parts arent too bad either
>foundation is announced
>"Ah, I can't wait to see how they adapt the wonderful anthology of varied stories throughout the ages of the foundation."
>its a thriller starring a moron stuck in the very first story
>with a b plot about "we want the got audience" OC court politics within the empire
>>with a b plot about "we want the got audience" OC court politics within the empire
Thats the best part though
i loved the Grand Huntress storyline
and Gaal before she met boring Hardin
and nothing's come close to Day's pilgrimage storyline yet
season 2 is for constant attention-needing drivel
>and nothing's come close to Day's pilgrimage storyline yet
Last episode was preddy gud for all empire storyline
What's with this series and constantly having arrogant female antagonists that the main characters have to overcome?
Demerzel is not arrogant though
After 2 episodes I just skipped all the parts with entitled Blackid cunts and sassy w*men. The Empire scenes are kino, I'm glad you don't even need to watch the other shitty plots to follow them
Even Redditfags agree. I just wonder if the showrunners are taking a hint and are slowly decreasing these cunts airtime compared to the Empire segments in season 2. Would be nice if fan servicing actually did something good. Season 3 could have less annoying zoomer actresses and more empire court intrugue. A few deaths would be nice too
I was always interested in the concept of the books and was excited about a show until 1.) I saw black people and 2.) I don’t want to sign up for apple +
you know you can watch for free?
In Minecraft.
Yeah but I’m lazy
It takes 1 min? Lay off the pipe retard
He cute
>Demrezel killed the divergent Dawn just to test out her programming restrictions
It all make sense now
I think it was also a form of revenge against Day who made her murder that negress possibly-future-space-pope
so why did they outlaw AI and robots ? a war happen ?
I Robot/ Dune/ Matrix/Terminator type situation, take your pick. Thinking machines are always trying to start shit.
They explain at some point the robots revolted because humans wouldn't recognize them as people
>he watches shows until they get good
>skip every scene with a character I don't like
>end up only watching the empire scenes
This has served me well since episode 4 or 5 of S1. Although one episode a few weeks ago was only like 5 minutes long which was annoying.
>gay military pilots
skipped
>black women
skipped
>pox marked whiny bri'ish math guy
skipped
>fat brown people in robes
skipped
>old brown woman with the lazy eye who
skipped
>brown guy I think was a thief or something
>skipped
it truly does make the show watchable. I wish I started this sooner. Empire is the only character who matters. Long live cleon the clone emperor!
military pilots
>skipped
I didn't recall that. Pic?
he's talking about the Rear Admiral Rios
He's not the rear admiral he just takes it there
No one asked no one cares.
personally all the anti-woke shit here is way more boring
anytime you want to have a discussion about anything, almost every single thread gets overrun by people whining about trannies/blacks/women or whatever
cool
I haven't watched this show at all, but that dude has a really good face for an actor, he looks like he'd be a good character actor.
literally me
>returns to show
>instantly becomes top tier kino
swear when he bashed that witches face in was some of the most satisfying shit I have seen all year.
Day > Hari
I like them both the show was really being hindered by just having one good actor last season but having 2 this season really turned the whole ship around. Hari really makes the mom and daughter part of the show watchable cause they were fucking annoying by themselves.
Yeah, I like them both too. Hari had plenty of good moments this season
I just have endless questions now though like where the fuck does the show go from here now that terminus is destroyed. is there a second foundation somewhere hidden.
