They way they release the first trailer for these big movies only 2-3 months from release makes the movies feel small and not important, like they're just another episode in an ongoing series rather than something big you wanna see. Judging by the trend of underwhelming phase 4 movies (spider man doesn't count because that was a Sony movie) this will most definitely be a mediocre to bad movie.

That's wrong, the old method of building hype over 18 months doesn't work because people get sick of it, plus people began actively avoiding trailers because of spoilers. The new model is just "surprise" the audience with the new thing so they're still excited when it actually hits.

The right move here is to basically let the MCU go fallow (which is what they should have done with nu-Wars along with sacking Kathleen Kennedy), but that's the one move they won't make because they haven't actually got anything else.
At the very least Marvel TV needs to stop. I don't think it's generating a single Disney+ sub at this point, and it's probably costing them $200mil in lost box office for every movie simply by tarnishing the brand.
The rule with Marvel movies is that they're always worse than the previous opus. Given that the original Black Panther was really bad we can expect some telenovelas quality here.

In retrospect I think that had a lot to do with Anthony Mackey's performance (though Sebastian Stan got all the glory), turning Falcon into Black Captain America was a mistake. The retconns in the Marvel TV show ruined what made the character lovable.
Watch Avengers then Cap 2 again, it's a good movie that progresses the Avengers storyline really well.
