Great movie. It felt very natural and I liked that. It won't make any waves unfortunately. People will go in wanting the "New/Young members" as the movie styled it, but they will get the old beer drinking members who were just there to ride and be somewhere that accepted them.

It would’ve been tolerable if she wasn’t the main narrator of the whole story. Should’ve been told from the Kid’s perspective of wanting to join the gang. Instead we get whining about how mean everybody is and how they never cry, and the goal of the narrative becomes to domesticate Benny, as if that makes us like him more.
Then it'd be an aspirational story that has to explain why he destroyed what he wanted to join. As it stands it's about loss, why these guys can't have nice things. Ironically the real life woman has died but Benny retired to Florida
It sounds bad in the trailer because it's such a midwestern accent. It sounds really out of place in a movie at first. But it's great in the movie. Unlike Fargo, the accent isn't being played for comedy, so redditors don't like it.
