    >ok im going to wake up the fat man in his own house with his daughter less than a feet away
    >but its okay because the daughter promised not to come in and say hi and ruin everything
    >I just want to get back some bumfrick random item
    >ill wake him up in his own house
    >and ill just tell him dont worry about it all lol
    >oh woops the daughter is here I told you not to come in why dont you listen 10 year old child

this entire scene and proceeding effects ruined the entire show for me, what a fricking shame

It's a little bit plot convenience-y but the purpose of the scene really is just to have an excuse for Dylan to get mad at Lumon too. Also we'll probably learn later on why Lumon is so protective of severed floor belongings.

        >a little plot inconveniency
its the entire backbone for dylans motivations and results in him single handidly driving the finales events
dylan's outside self was completely compliant and ready at any time to help and michilk decides to do it in his closet with his daugther 2 feet away instead of literally anything else, not ensuring his daughter is not even in the room locked out, or dylan pretend putting her to bed ANYTHING

shut the frick up its a complete ruination of the shows coherence and soured the entire finale, they could've easily had dylan get mad without making milkchik braindead out of no where
        >dylan is woken up in his house, confused
        >just before hes put back he notices a picture on the wall of a little girl, maybe him in frame as well, this lights the match within him constantly thinking about it and it boils over that he might have a whole life and kid

THATS IT! THATS ALL THEY HAD TO DO, FAR MORE NUANCED AND BETTER. frick off youre not downplaying this shit frick you homosexual , I loved this show and it turned out and shat on my face, I still like it and eagerly wait for the next season but I also know it had a completely bullshit issue piercing its s1 tail end, a completely nonsensical lapse in writing

I think the point is to imply that that random card is very important. We just dont know why yet.

          >we may know why the random card is very important
You're just repeating what the other guy said, that means nothing, we already knew it held a level of importance the second Dylan took it, if they wanted to emphasise how much milkchik was stressing over it then a proper planned retake instead of what he did would've given us the same message either way. It was a completely stupid move that contradicts milchiks entire persona of being a controlling manipulating single minded person, then it propels dylan into the final arc just off that dumb shit, if it was any other result it'd be fine but we're supposed to accept this single piece of shit writing as the backdrop for Dylan's shattered life philosophy and instant desire to be the 1 man show keeping the finale going (holding the switches). Frick that, you can tell the show is clearly above that level of ass and that only makes me even more pissed that they suddenly wrote that in and not anything else.

I'm not the one on Cinemaphile writing an essay about how a scene in a mystery box show didn't have enough nuance.

This is Cinemaphile sir, bait better sir

no we didnt. We found out when he boss homie went to extreme lengths to get it back

Yes extreme lengths that provide the same impact if he was a moron with the kid, you don't think it's important because the kid rushed in and fricked it up. You think it's important because milchik went to his house and talked to his outie just to deal with it. Zero reason to involve a completely brain dead character moment

And another thing, having what's clearly Dylan's kid rush in and hug him, and he's freaking the frick out while Milchik is staring and seeing all this, and then some time later milchik is doing this

            [...]
            >wah a corporate middle-manager dictating an extremely complicated concept can't frick up once to provide a character with existential doubt, it needs more nuance!
            Get over yourself.

is a silly level of dissonance, milchik isn't moronic, he's meant to be a people person getting close to their innies on their good sides to manipulate and keep them in line.

Him doing that shit while knowing dylan is obviously thinking about the fricking kid he has is kinda stupid, I'm not as angry about this though compared to the actual kids scene but yeah. Having it be dylan seeing the kids photo would be a lot better. Milchik could far likelier miss a photo around the room and just have no idea dylan is fixated on the picture of his own face smiling hugging a kid and maybe a wife, but no we get that great dance scene and all with a sprinkle of weird writing in between

How about making a post that isn't bait? You ever consider that? No, you don't because your a fricking tourist who wasn't even around when Cinemaphile was probationary. How was any of my posts baiting when all I've done is post topic-related images and point out flaws in other posts?

He could be testing the limits of the docility of the innie at the time or trying a different angle since the previous "hey buddy just forget about it" wasn't exactly working.

Imagine the horror they felt, being totally wiped and spawned to be office drones, the first time they had to take a shit.
Did they think it was a part of their body?

They knew about human body functions anon. They had I guess the equivalent of a generic high school education's worth of knowledge. They just had artificially imposed amnesia about their own lives and identities.

Resetting Innie Dylan's memory would mean he would have to be re-trained and re-adjusted to the entire MDR workflow after working there for years. It would also create an even larger rift between MDR and Lumon as the company would effectively be killing their friend.
