And the delusion of our institution
Is seeing the American Dream as a false illusion
Confusion starts to cloud the revolution
As racism spreads our body politic like a contusion
And hope can only spring from the fusion
Of our imaginations and the spirit of the Constitution
So that out of hatred, noise and pollution
We can come together and form a more perfect union
I never realized this movie would be such an intelligence filter, but here we are. There are legitimate large review channels complaining about not having their hands held.
>“the chimp side plot doesn’t make sense”
It quite clearly it plays a major part of Jupe’s motivation which caused the NOPE creature to inhabit the area as it’s territory in the first place
>”What does the shoe mean, it’s so random. Were the aliens controlling what was happening on set?”
It’s literally a random chance happening of something that seems perfect, paranormal, and holy during a massacre. It distracts Jupes and prevents him from absorbing the significance of the event.
>“But the ape looked in his eyes all of a sudden at the end of the massacre, shouldn’t he have killed him?! Or was the ape being controlled by the aliens?”
What fricking little green men are these clowns on about? The main reason the chimp didn’t go apeshit on Jupes is because Jupes was obeying the predators rules. He remained small, still, and quiet. Most importantly, he never really made eye contact due to the veil of the table cloth. An impenetrable veil existed between man and nature and in this case, man misunderstood the deeper context (seemingly all the “this movie sucks” audience and Jupes). He didn’t truly create eye contact with him and on the off chance that the “fist bump” did happen, the chimp would have pieced the veil out of curiosity. After that, Jupes would have died. But, that didn’t happen and Jupes took the wrong message from it all. He believed he had some natural or supernatural connection to nature and animals and thus this folly caused him to corral and feed a fricking NOPE predator until it was pissed and he violated its rules.
Extra funny points for the veil being brought back by the mauled woman’s coming off and her violating a predator’s rules again. What bum ass luck, you get eaten alive by two predators in one life time.
Assuming you're being serious...
The chimp is the classic case of animals turning against their "master" and humans arrogance thinking we have dominion over them. Chimps were common in Hollywood during the 70s/80s. It's also the part of Jups issue, turning his trauma into a for profit spectacle. Look at how he collects everything related to the event and has horrific flashbacks but plays it off like it was epic or not a big deal. Many celebrities compartmentalize like this. Often aliens are played off as superior mentally or technologically, but how do we cope with one that has no reason other than being a predator.
people not understanding the chimp subplot when they hit you over the head with it so bluntly just goes to show how stupid the people on this board really are
>Often aliens are played off as superior mentally or technologically, but how do we cope with one that has no reason other than being a predator.
We cover ourselves in mud and hit it with a tree.
Showing that Jupe developed from a young age the thought he could control a wild animal through basic cues (the fistbump) hence why he thinks he can develop a relationship with the creature by feeding it horses
No but really, why did he spare the kid? The transition from him going ape-shit to le wholesome reddit monkey was weird. Did he realize how scared the kid was and tried to fist bump him as a "am sorry for killing ppl pls forgive me uwu"
It's a wild animal: its behavior can never be truly controlled or predicted, it can go from face-ripping monster to cute friendly monke at the drop of a shoe, and it was believing he somehow had a special connection or understanding with it is what led to Jupe getting himself and forty other people eaten by a sky jellyfish a few decades later.
its a metaphor for even though asians and blacks are having problems now with all the violence, they must put their differences asside and come together to fight the white man
I think it had calmed down by that point, so it reverted to it's training of: "when you see this Asian kid, fist bump him."
Animals will also sometimes be nicer to a human they've formed a close bond with, and the kid was supposed to be his buddy in the show.
Some animals can also sense that it's a child and not an adult. That's why house a lot of house cats won't scratch a toddler that's being kind of rough with them, just like they'll be more tolerant of a kitten trying to rough house with them, than they would with an adult human or another adult cat.
Monkeys are known to become violent because of eye contact, and the monkey couldn’t see the kids eyes. But the kid read too much into it thought he had a special connection with it. The same way the alien becomes violent if people look at it and people keep acting like they can tame it
Furthermore, it's not even clear the ape was going for the fist bump, it's just that Jupe didn't interpret it as malice. Another interesting thread to that scene.
Based on the synopsis reviews, sounds like this is a bit of a social commentary on the how Black ppl & non-Black people experience police violence captured on film.
First, Gordy the chimp reacts violently in when the aliens arrive. No one knows or understands that he senses the danger. They on only see an animal behaving badly. Keith David is killed by the alien. The alien can be seen as the police being that many most of the officers involved in these killings we’ve see are not from the communities they’re patrolling . David has direct contact with the monster in the falling debris & is killed, but that doesn’t trigger questions from anyone but the his family. Keke’s comment about not remembering the Black jockey is an analogy for how Black names are lost to history and the mainstream conciseness regardless of the contributions or impact. This echos the long held tradition in be Black community of reciting names of ancestors, deceased relatives, & those killed in our communities.
Yeun, an Asian, saw Gordy get triggered but doesn’t perceive that something was wrong that actually triggered him. Yeun even able to profit from himself from the experience of having survived the experience (Asians actually received reparations from America after WWII whereas there’s never been such compensation for any Black people for slavery or the 100 years of government sanctioned violence & discrimination thereafter). Yuen even sets up shop next to the Haywoods and intends on making money off watching the horses (the Haywoods run a horse ranch) get devoured. Yuen is seemingly profiting at the Haywoods’s expense none-the-wiser that theirs a threat to himself too in feeding the monster. The Haywoods intend on capturing the monster on film. It’s Hollywood after all, people aren’t moved by and won’t pay for what they can’t see for themselves.
He flashback sequence after Yeun is killed shows Yeun that day at the sound stage. There’s a white girl & man that are killed that are supposed to be his sister and dad. Yeun is likely adopted. White people have a weird proclivity for adopting foreign kids… But at the same time, Asians tend to gravitate toward more ethnically white positions of participation in systematic discrimination despite being people of color themselves who are still discriminated by that same system as well. This is signaled when Gordy first bumps the young Yeun. Gordy is trying to connect. The white people don’t see why the chimp is acting this way. But maybe the Asian kid does. But as it shows, Yeun grows up and is just like the white people. There a desired kinship and understanding that Gordy wants with Yeun and tries to symbolize, but ultimately it’s just not there.
The Haywoods proceed with trying to get the spaceship on camera but capturing quality live footage is actually hard. There’re even people who are in the business of documenting tragedy. It’s a bit exploitative in an of itself, especially when they come from outside of the community. And the spaceship seems to have the ability to turn devices off. Metaphorically, there’s a parallel here in how few killings by police actually get recoded despite measures put in place to do just that. And even then, law enforcement commonly attempts to obstruct the efforts of onlookers to record their actions or confiscate recordings. The unfurling of a cowboy balloon can be seen as an American idea of who police are. The alien consumes it and monster & cowboy are now one & the same. Kill the idea of the police being cowboys taming a dangerous & uncivilized land, and change/reform can happen. The monster can be killed.
Finally, it seems like Kaluuya is killed by the monster. But not before being captured on camera in a similar position as the Black jockey, his grandfather. People will remember the moment thanks to the photo.

Than look up what happen to Martin Lawrence.
Theme of the film is tokenism

This is a lot for an R rated non franchise project, either Peele fails like Shymalan at the fourth one, or he's unironically the next big thing. If his success brings interest for original R rated projects in Hollywood this might outweight any embarassing shit he said about muh wypypo in the interviews and his shitty Twilight Zone reboot, Candyman sequel and Lovecraft Country he all produced.
Can't believe Skyline got not one but two sequels

Have you seen Skyline?
Guys, I just really think the monster should’ve had really cool hypnosis powers. I’m not really into the hard vore stuff I just want to see people hypnotized and eaten. I was hoping the entire time that the ufo would start hypnotizing them before he ate them up and it never happened 🙁
I don't need hypnosis, I just want to know if the vore shot lingered or if people just entered a mouth and ended there

Note, 40 seconds of inside inside footage, I'm not counting the stuff where they're being sucked up or the eye shot. It is 40 seconds in the fleshy tunnel of slime and blood. There is 30 seconds of them getting massaged along, and an additional 10 seconds showing half digested horse that signals their inevitable fate.

There is no scene of that on youtube tho sadly. Only them sliding up the gullet and then it ends

Like I said here
was waiting for the bloody pop at the end like the shot from akira its imitating
Before it cuts, its directly recreating a shot from Akira where a character is in a very similar situation and pops from being crushed. There probably was a few seconds cut from the scene in Nope.
There's also a shot near the end of the movie that imitates the the bike slide from Akira.
Agreed. I think it would have made the movie 10 times better if the prey was completely willing in a sense, I feel like the lack of hypnosis has really hurt the movie overall for me and I probably won’t be re watching it too much

Mindless smiles appearing on the women's faces as they're all sucked inside. Maybe extra shots of their legs sticking out of the mouth for a moment, before getting slurped in.
the alien should have just sucked up one person at a time and it should have been really drawn out and slow like 2 minutes per person as they tried to not be sucked in
I agree I think Jordan peele really missed the mark by not extending the vore scenes to 2 minutes per person and also forgetting to include a scene where they get hypnotized before the monster gobbles them up
>Whitey sees movie where people die screaming as they're being digested alive in UFO belly >They want a cam rip of it since it gets their dick hard
White people are evil
Only whites and japs are so sick as to look at people screaming as they melt away into a fleshy mulch to fuel a giant UFO monster and think "yeah give me double of that"
Oh there lots of white guys too. You don't fool anyone. They watched those people cry and moan in pain, with the innards filled with oxygen to protract their misery. Watched as they digested slowly and alive as they watch all their loved ones and themselves melt away into indeterminable forms slurped away chunk by chunk. The walls than closing in on them, the flesh crushing them into a blood paste it would later spew on the house. That was what whitey looked at and thought "yeah that's hot".
Prove it, huge majority of furries are white so I bet there’s a giant overlap
A huge majority of everything in the west is white because there are a lot of white people, especially when you group in Ashkenazi israelites, Hispanics, persians and other south european ethnicities.
Only whites and japs are so sick as to look at people screaming as they melt away into a fleshy mulch to fuel a giant UFO monster and think "yeah give me double of that"
>japanese
is there a japanese vore community at all? i feel like its pretty small and they usually concentrate on other aspects of the fetish.
Japanese people have the decency to emphasize the hotter aspects of vore instead of putting turnoffs in it. Whites have to make it all about self hatred as usual. Not even japs have the self hatred the modern white does. Even nationalist whites hate themselves, its nuts. The whitey can be told Jean jacket is a monster that painful digests you and they would still line up.
to your points, since you’re reposting this in a new thread
>chimp plot not making sense
It’s not spelled out so that’s causing confusion, but it’s such a strong side-plot/character background and thematic equivalent that people thinking it needs to be removed are crazy. Agree with you, plebs are being plebs.
>shoe standing upright
When the movie was over I got this was just an ominous “coin standing on its side” occurrence like you said, but I think you’re undermining that it’s incredibly misleading. The first scene in the film holds on it and it returns in the flashback. It’s staged in a way that the audience should think there’s something important about it, but it ends up being just a coincidence. Making a connection between the shoe and Jupe thinking he’s “the chosen one” is a stretch.
>ape looking in Jupe’s eyes
I totally missed that the tablecloth was acting as a veil, since my focus was on how they’re clearly staring at each other. It does make sense now that’s what Peele was going for. During the scene, I still assumed the chimp would kill the kid if it wasn’t shot at that time, so me not noticing the tablecloth as enough to block eye contact didn’t matter.
Great movie. Felt underwhelmed by the last scene at the time only because I was expecting a final twist like his other movies, but I’ve accepted that’s not what it and I’m ok with it. I think people waiting for a twist has caused a lot of the complaints.
The only way to fully accept your post/interpretation is if you buy that Jupe thinks he understands the alien on a deeper level because of when he was a kid. He could just as easily be acting out a hatred he obtained from the chimp incident by turning the alien into a side show attraction. The chimp killing everyone overshadowed his life and ended his career as an actor, forcing him to run a cowboy park in the gulch. His motivation is kind of vague and you’re assigning your interpretation.
I never realized this movie would be such an intelligence filter, but here we are. There are legitimate large review channels complaining about not having their hands held.

Also, there was an active shooter scare immediately after the movie was over at my theater. No joke, made local news in Orlando. Turned out to be rowdy teens fighting which caused a scene. Pretty scary during the initial chaos though.

https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-312
Why do they always steal bros
>SCP-312 preys upon large mammals and shows a strong preference for humans
Just wanna point out that the reason this doesn't happen in the animal kingdom is because people just don't honestly taste very good. Same with monkeys, who are also eaten by predators that much prefer other meals, monkeys just happen to be nearby. Yes out of all the fake shit written there this bugged me the most.
during the american escapades in south east asia american GIs dealt directly with active cannibals in a war zone and the slang for human meat was long pork. so no, humans taste like pigs when cooked, and pigs are preyed on by every large predator in the zones they range.
fat is rich and rare in nature and all animals love it.
Cannibals become used to eating human like humans do anything else, it's just adaptation. It's what humans do best, adapt. We're the top of the food chain for more than wits and technology.
this scp stuff is kindda lame but why didnt someone just film a new x-files with it, it's public domain right so you can just steal the better setups. you could do a cryptkeeper type show with each episode being 3 short stories around different monsters.
in the 1st season of stranger things, particularly the early episodes, the demogorgon operates exactly like scp-106. https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-106
>SCP
Some of those SCPs are literally just "object that is monster hiding as something else" like those buses that are bugs or the organic room. That they would do that with a UFO is not surprise. Same with SCP-173 and weeping angels.
The money shot guy was probably outright dying, due to coughing and popping pills. He just wanted to get that perfect shot, and he literally had nothing to lose.
Unlike his "Jaws" counterpart Quint, he didn't frick over the rest of the characters going for the money shot.
Same. I don't think there was much of a deeper meaning, Keke Palmer was annoying as frick. Same of the visuals were cool, but it was just a subpar alien/monster movie.
just saw this an hour ago. film coulda easily been a 9/10 if the alien was done better. it just turning into a balloon/kite at the end was incredibly anti climactic.
can someone please explain to me though how the steven yeun's character knew the alien existed and was capitalizing on it?
he knew about the alien before everyone else and was secretly feeding it with horses
he lured it to the show expecting it would just eat the horse
turns out the creature was hungry

What never made any sense about this LE EPIG PLOT HOLE is that force ghosts also can fricking stand on planets. As can all ghosts in all of human reckoning. Wrap your head around that shit for a second.
You have already made these remarks in another thread and I have explained that some people seek different things in films. For you these make the film bad, some other people can ignore this and other qualities of the movie overweight these issues.
Also the screams are heard because the creature most likely imitates the screams. Why would it eat the giant balloon there, it had a whole stadium of people, at them and flew away because that was enough. It ate the balloon at the end because it was directly teased with it.
>Also the screams are heard because the creature most likely imitates the screams.
Anytime you need to write the movie for the director/writer, it's a shit movie. There's nothing indicating it's capable of doing such a thing.
>Why would it eat the giant balloon there
Why did it eat a fake horse left in the middle of a field?
I've said it before, this movie is 100% style over substance, if you're okay with that then that's fine, but that absolutely does not make it a good movie.
Not everything has to be spelled out in the film to be there.
It ate a fake horse because it looked like a real horse. It ate the ballon at the end because it was directly teased with it while at the show it already had enough to eat.
I believe style and substance are one of the same, we clearly have a different definition of a good film. No one says you have to enjoy it, but for some reason you're the one getting defensive when someone does. The issue here is the different way people perceive cinema.

>Not everything has to be spelled out in the film to be there.
But it does need to be setup, especially if there's significant effort in establishing that this is a creature that functions and behaves based on a very specific ruleset. Again, handwaving laziness.
>It ate a fake horse because it looked like a real horse. It ate the ballon at the end because it was directly teased with it while at the show it already had enough to eat.
It's been established over and over again that it'll just suck up anything that looks like it's looking at it (the flappy balloon men being used as decoys). That giant balloon cowboy would/should have been one of the very first things it ever saw. This is why having an internal logic and applying it consistently matters.

why do you assume the characters that tried to establish the ruleset aren't flawed? it's an alien, they can get the rules wrong. it also doesn't have to have consistent rules, as again, it's not real.

That would have been actually interesting to explore which is why Peele didn't do it. Imagine seeing OJ getting eaten like a lil b***h during the ending because he fricked up and got the rules the monster operates by wrong.

That's just not how I viewed it. This anon already spelled it out

But yes, basically the rules here are not as carved in stone as something in Brid Box. Wild animals are unpredictable, they don't function under robotic logic. The characters saw some patterns and used those, but it doesn't mean they would work 100% of the time. Living things don't function on mathematical logic.

banana peele fricked up. he tried to do a sci-fi-horror-suspense-thriller mashup, but in a non-horror setting you don't get to do random shit like friday the 13th or halloween. the movie is amateurish and he should have worked out the internal logic of the movie before filming it.

okay, but i don't care about that and the good things like great cinematography and action scenes, well done tension at moments and a great way he incorporated the central theme through the UFO / monkey parallel outweight the lack of some iternal logic at moments
if that doesn't for you then there's no issue, i have already stated that surpirse, people look at films differently
I wouldn't say there's much horror, only specific scenes, thriller is more likely but it also turns into an aciton film in the latter half plus there's a lot of comedy because Peele is a Hitchwiener fan

now that i think about it, this movie reminds me of super 8. incredibly mediocre throwback movie with no particular thought put into the plot.

>everyone else does
A lot of people in the thread seemingly don't. Also you could say that critics only gave good reviews because he's black which I wouldn't disagree totally with, but there is gonna be quite a few who did enjoy the film genuinely.
The film is actually somewhat similar to Super 8 indeed but I feel like Abrams has zero identity while Peele is visually surprisingly recognizible, he managed to form a style fast, I think the film looks much better and the action scenes are staged much better. There's not scene in Super 8 as good as the scene where OJ is on the horse distracting the alien with a parachute, so it flips and they get a great shot. It's probably my favourite sequence in the film, it's so well done, the scale is spot on, it looks like the effect was also practical. The soundtrack is too pretty good. The creature design is much better and I thought the twist itself is well done.
Obviously he's no Hitchwiener, I'm just stating the influence. Nope is an 8/10 at best. It's not an amazing film by any metric in my opinion but is good enough. Hitchwiener made at least two films that I think are 10/10 (Vertigo and North by Northwest) but I have to see more, I only seen most color classics so far.

Get Out was incredibly straightforward and blatant with mediocre visuals, looked like a basic Blumhouse film most of the time. Us had better cinematography but it was pretty convoluted tonally, and essentially a stretched out Twilight Zone episode. Nope is his best work, best cinematography, not as obvious as Get Out and doesn't have a theme nearly as manipulative, balances thriller / action / comedy much better.
eww and what if it it ate a horse alongside them but they ended up getting squished against its butt as they were all slowly pushed forward by the slimy undulating walls haha
What's so crazy about that? Have you never gone to a nudist water park with your family and felt yourselves all sliding across each other's naked bodies in the inflatable boat going down the slide? Imagine never experiencing that.
>make an alien that eats people because scary >show iternals for extra scare because that's not done often >don't know about the depraved horrors of the internet
the game was rigged from the start
The characters were serviceable but nothing special. Jupe was the most interesting one because he has a backstory which relates to current events in a neat way.
Thinking of seeing it soon but first I have to know.. Is there any shoehorned in, cringey "comedic dialogue"? Shit like that ruins a lot of modern horror for me.
What I can't figure out is the reason for making a sci-fi version of Jaws in the first place. It's kind of a neat idea but the movie isn't scary enough to just be horror for its own sake, so not having any deeper substance than "space jaws" is very disappointing
probably like 100
in two days it has already made 44 million even tho from the first day it ewas estimated to make this amout of money in a week, but the box office is instead rising, it's gonna make at least as much as Us and Nope (250 million i think), probably more
What were the point of ape scenes though.
why is this being asked in every thread
Because the internet is full of morons.

Imagine watching this trash and then taking time to explain it.
We cover ourselves in mud and hit it with a tree.
he probaly picked random topics form a hat and made a movie full aware he will praised for everything because he black
black people
It was a great movie
Showing that Jupe developed from a young age the thought he could control a wild animal through basic cues (the fistbump) hence why he thinks he can develop a relationship with the creature by feeding it horses
the proper term is african americans
I didn't like how racist this movie was towards white people or how the ufos was an allegory for cops
Gordy did nothing wrong
No but really, why did he spare the kid? The transition from him going ape-shit to le wholesome reddit monkey was weird. Did he realize how scared the kid was and tried to fist bump him as a "am sorry for killing ppl pls forgive me uwu"
It could be any combination of factors like the kid staying still, staying quiet, the table cloth blocking direct eye-contact, etc.
It's a wild animal: its behavior can never be truly controlled or predicted, it can go from face-ripping monster to cute friendly monke at the drop of a shoe, and it was believing he somehow had a special connection or understanding with it is what led to Jupe getting himself and forty other people eaten by a sky jellyfish a few decades later.
its a metaphor for even though asians and blacks are having problems now with all the violence, they must put their differences asside and come together to fight the white man
Unironically this
>101st
Yeah, real significant.
>First, Gordy the chimp reacts violently in when the aliens arrive.
Already wrong
I really hope for your sake that this is a copy paste from Reddit
Your theory sounds completely wrong try harder
Google dave chapple OPRAH* Winfrey interview.
Than look up what happen to Martin Lawrence.
Interesting didn't think about it that way
He flashback sequence after Yeun is killed shows Yeun that day at the sound stage.

Why does every recording of this cut before the internal scene ends?
it's the same recording from tiktok, there's no other recording

Wouldn't they run out of air?
Of course. They'd pass out.
The people screaming around the house were clearly a different group.
i figured the creature can imitate the sounds, no?
and how would he do that
By making rated R capeshitkillers
no i mean, Get Out had an ending where all of the cult members got killed, what is there to follow up on
Get Out 1½
I'm not sure it can. It's more likely it just picked off a group of campers.
The thing is literally a giant balloon that sucks up so much oxygen it cause tornados I don’t think there would be that much shortage of air.
Wow this looks like shit
What were you expecting? Slime and steam?
I was expecting it to look like a shitty movie, and it does. I guess the "wow" wasn't merited
I refuse to watch anything this korean homosexual is in. He's such a shit actor
how does the rest of this play out
more screaming and people turning into goop?
The scene ends.
There's one more part
I swear there was like a several more seconds where you saw some half digested horse
Yeah, the woman is pushed face to face with it, screams, then it cuts.

Hopefully he gets the message when his least woke film by far makes the most money and is also critically acclaimed
Since you dumb white liberals promote him he will make it
to be the next big thing you have to actually be a good director; banana peele is not.
There should have been hypnosis in the vore scenes. It would have been so much better if the monster had hypno powers don’t ya think?
Yeah, but Peele already did hypno shit in Get Out, so he had to change it up.
Guys, I just really think the monster should’ve had really cool hypnosis powers. I’m not really into the hard vore stuff I just want to see people hypnotized and eaten. I was hoping the entire time that the ufo would start hypnotizing them before he ate them up and it never happened 🙁
I like the idea of an angler fish type lure, the bright light acting as an instant control.
Yeah I really like the idea of a hypnosis hypno lure from anglerfish I think it should have been in the movie before they got vored
No because there is no hypnosis vore hypnosis
I don't need hypnosis, I just want to know if the vore shot lingered or if people just entered a mouth and ended there
It shows the people being sucked in, dragged through it's esophagus and screaming while being digested
There's a several second shot of someone sliding up its gullet from the inside while you hear screaming and pleading
It is 40 seconds long
And the way it is cut makes me think there's more footage of it.
Like I said here
Before it cuts, its directly recreating a shot from Akira where a character is in a very similar situation and pops from being crushed. There probably was a few seconds cut from the scene in Nope.
There's also a shot near the end of the movie that imitates the the bike slide from Akira.
Why does this sicko keep posting this in all the Nope threads? Is he trying to get me to nope outta here?
Maybe the real Nope was the anons we met along the way.
The real monster was Cinemaphile
I started the hypno talk. That's a different Anon.
Already on that thread, lol.
>Already on that thread
over/under on someone having jerked it to the nope ufo?
So there are multiple sickos on Cinemaphile's Cinemaphile board is what you're telling me? How did this happen??
>Movie is Vore: The Movie
>Cinemaphile is shocked when Vore fans appear
What are the odds?
Ur a frickin annoying homosexual
Seconded. Could bring all the meals to one spot, then vacuum the mindless food right on up.
Agreed. I think it would have made the movie 10 times better if the prey was completely willing in a sense, I feel like the lack of hypnosis has really hurt the movie overall for me and I probably won’t be re watching it too much
was the vore any good or just people getting sucked up and thats it
the vore scenes were an allegory for white people and obsession with black crime statistics
>Steven Yeun
Mudpies?
Will there be a sequel? Maybe a "Nopes"?
Can't believe Skyline got not one but two sequels
Have you seen Skyline?
Yep
Ah Hell Naw
God I want a cute black gf raised by a white dad and not a white mom.
Was anyone else's theater uncomfortably silent during Gordy scene?
No my theater was full of black peepo.
Yeah it was pretty damn brutal.
Mindless smiles appearing on the women's faces as they're all sucked inside. Maybe extra shots of their legs sticking out of the mouth for a moment, before getting slurped in.
the alien should have just sucked up one person at a time and it should have been really drawn out and slow like 2 minutes per person as they tried to not be sucked in
I agree I think Jordan peele really missed the mark by not extending the vore scenes to 2 minutes per person and also forgetting to include a scene where they get hypnotized before the monster gobbles them up
Also the mouth should have closed over the women in such a way we could see their butts sticking out.
And every single one should get an equally long scene of them struggling inside its gullet and stomach.
>Good my apprentice, good... let the mediocrity flow through you...

I'm convinced Peele is shilling his movie in each of these threads. I enjoyed it but frick off
Peele is the vore poster
That tik tok is horrifying and closaphibic. But why are all the people dying in the movie white?
they aren't in the audience there were black people, the father of the main character's is black and Jupe also dies and he's asian
>Whitey sees movie where people die screaming as they're being digested alive in UFO belly
>They want a cam rip of it since it gets their dick hard
White people are evil
No I want a hypnosis version so the digested people are totally oblivious they're being vored.
Does hypnogay not realize that there literally is hypno in the movie?
Like where? Idiots standing still doesn't count.
It's failed hypno but it's something the monster can do
The movie hypnotized you into watching it
I saw that episode of x-files too
>Whitey sees movie where people die screaming as they're being digested alive in UFO belly
>They want a cam rip of it since it gets their dick hard

>White people are evil
>Assuming only white people like vore
Come on dude.
>Posts pyscho-tier doodles
You're not exactly coming across as the more rational person here, lol.
Prove it, huge majority of furries are white so I bet there’s a giant overlap
Only whites and japs are so sick as to look at people screaming as they melt away into a fleshy mulch to fuel a giant UFO monster and think "yeah give me double of that"
Cue the non-white vore fans taking offense.
Only white women and japs*
Oh there lots of white guys too. You don't fool anyone. They watched those people cry and moan in pain, with the innards filled with oxygen to protract their misery. Watched as they digested slowly and alive as they watch all their loved ones and themselves melt away into indeterminable forms slurped away chunk by chunk. The walls than closing in on them, the flesh crushing them into a blood paste it would later spew on the house. That was what whitey looked at and thought "yeah that's hot".
>
(You)
>Oh there lots
Stopped reading there.
Vore is depicted in all manner of stories globally, even fricking ancient ones.
A huge majority of everything in the west is white because there are a lot of white people, especially when you group in Ashkenazi israelites, Hispanics, persians and other south european ethnicities.
>japanese
is there a japanese vore community at all? i feel like its pretty small and they usually concentrate on other aspects of the fetish.
giantess isn't vore
With Uru it will be.
she's gonna marry him and have lots of huge female offspring who embarrass other tiny men
Japanese people have the decency to emphasize the hotter aspects of vore instead of putting turnoffs in it. Whites have to make it all about self hatred as usual. Not even japs have the self hatred the modern white does. Even nationalist whites hate themselves, its nuts. The whitey can be told Jean jacket is a monster that painful digests you and they would still line up.
>Not even japs have the self hatred the modern white does
isnt the current biggest fetish NTR?
Like I said, I like oblivious vore where the devoured don't know they're being eaten due to hypno.
What would those aspects be? Because it’s the same death fetish bullshit, with them.
Having a safe vore fetish sucks, you get barely anything.
You guys actually watched this Black person shit?
i don't hate black people
But you must hate whites since peele does
That's a mistake
There will be an extended cut right? They got a lot of footage not in the theatre release.
Makes me wonder what could be in it.
to your points, since you’re reposting this in a new thread
>chimp plot not making sense

Also, there was an active shooter scare immediately after the movie was over at my theater. No joke, made local news in Orlando. Turned out to be rowdy teens fighting which caused a scene. Pretty scary during the initial chaos though.

>ayyyy let’s just steal some shit off of the scp wiki
https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-312
Why do they always steal bros
>SCP-312 preys upon large mammals and shows a strong preference for humans
Just wanna point out that the reason this doesn't happen in the animal kingdom is because people just don't honestly taste very good. Same with monkeys, who are also eaten by predators that much prefer other meals, monkeys just happen to be nearby. Yes out of all the fake shit written there this bugged me the most.
It just made a poor assumption based on the rodeo, that humans were a herd species easy to kill.
during the american escapades in south east asia american GIs dealt directly with active cannibals in a war zone and the slang for human meat was long pork. so no, humans taste like pigs when cooked, and pigs are preyed on by every large predator in the zones they range.
fat is rich and rare in nature and all animals love it.
Cannibals become used to eating human like humans do anything else, it's just adaptation. It's what humans do best, adapt. We're the top of the food chain for more than wits and technology.
Just want to point out this doesn’t happen in creative writing because monsters don’t exist.
I think you meant to say Pokémon
>Steals the child of a Pokemon Master.
>Entire species rendered extinct by the Legendary god-mons he has.
this scp stuff is kindda lame but why didnt someone just film a new x-files with it, it's public domain right so you can just steal the better setups. you could do a cryptkeeper type show with each episode being 3 short stories around different monsters.
in the 1st season of stranger things, particularly the early episodes, the demogorgon operates exactly like scp-106. https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-106
>edited 9 days ago
Go ahead and check the archived versions, why do you people steal so much
>SCP
Some of those SCPs are literally just "object that is monster hiding as something else" like those buses that are bugs or the organic room. That they would do that with a UFO is not surprise. Same with SCP-173 and weeping angels.
Did at magnify the screams as a psychological predation tactic? Like to spook prey of the same species out of hiding?
>mfw all the stupid characters were white people
Putting 40 people right in front of a dangerous UFO was Jupe's idea.
i would call him "stupid" but the white people were just comically stupid like the
>motorcycle guy
>money shot guy
>camera crew in the beginning
I would describe money shot guy as Herzog-If-Suicidally-Fixated-On-Ultimate-Documenatary.
Basically Quint from Jaws.
>they were comically stupid
>money shot guy
You wouldn’t get it.
The money shot guy was probably outright dying, due to coughing and popping pills. He just wanted to get that perfect shot, and he literally had nothing to lose.
Unlike his "Jaws" counterpart Quint, he didn't frick over the rest of the characters going for the money shot.
I just found the movie incredibly boring — not quite sure what I’m missing here.
Same. I don't think there was much of a deeper meaning, Keke Palmer was annoying as frick. Same of the visuals were cool, but it was just a subpar alien/monster movie.
Big question.
Did the film of "the money shot" survive the fall?
just saw this an hour ago. film coulda easily been a 9/10 if the alien was done better. it just turning into a balloon/kite at the end was incredibly anti climactic.
can someone please explain to me though how the steven yeun's character knew the alien existed and was capitalizing on it?
He was fricking it on the side
he knew about the alien before everyone else and was secretly feeding it with horses
he lured it to the show expecting it would just eat the horse
turns out the creature was hungry
>he knew about the alien before everyone else
i didn't get this, when was this shown/implied?
He said it to the crowd. Also he had the UFO symbol on his clothing apparently.
okay i do remember him saying that, i guess it wasn't exactly revealed how he found out about it though.
>Jupe was feeding OJ's horses to an alien monster
Kek
He was figuring out the alien at the same time as the main characters, just acted on it a lot faster.
Watched it online for free. It was an okay movie. Opening with the chimp scene was a good choice.
>watched it on my phone in 144p with 16kbit audio

Where?
Its not on fmovies, solar, or 123?

Where?
Is the film really 2 and a half hours long?
does it earn the length?
I dont mind long films if they deserve it, but shit like the batman that are 3 hours long for no fricking reason piss me off

it's like 2 hours and ten minutes
it drags at parts a little but not too bad

The threads about this doesn't feel like actual discussion about the movie, more like paid shills or or actual moronic peele fans. Even fricking Spiral (2021) had actual discussion threads despite how heavily flawed it was, but they weren't back-to-back for days like this
Here's your (You) schizoid
Schizoid isn’t the same as schizo but it’s probably also true
nobody gives a shit about movies on this board are you new
everyone here is either here for the full vore to drop or the political shitposting
*and they weren't back-to-back for days like this
like seriously, discussion is already dying down at this rate
I actually pointed out how the recent Saw movie got threads when it released and people actually talked about it in full, as in the whole movie, not as like two or three scenes like this thread.
There was a Conan thread yesterday and it was fun
The film has flaws, but not everyone cares about these flaws, people have different borders on suspension of disbelief.
Just keep rocking back and forth by yourself. “They’re all shills,” you cry, so above it all.
>>if you post a flaw or talk about another scene, they get defensive for some reason
i mean, you kind of proved his point
He did neither of those things in his post.
Ur post sucked simple as
>The threads about this doesn't feel like actual discussion about the movie
maybe because you resort to stupid green text projection and strawmanning instead of, oh, i dont know, Talking About the Movie????
>or actual moronic peele fans
troonyera and reddit are on Cinemaphile and Cinemaphile these days just as much as poltards used to be after the 2016 election. There's unironic "movies buff" homosexuals carrying water for garbage like thor on this board. Even if they're doing it for free they still act like paid shills
is parking pataweyo good in it?
yea
Theme of the film is tokenism
>Token Ape goes berzerk
>Jupe is token Asian actor
>Jupe has white wife, integrates with white people, becomes the token
>Jupe thought because the Ape didn't kill him, the monster would also be cool with him
>Black horse trainers are tokens in Hollywood
>Tokens need to know their place of they get Fricked up by White Supremacy
that's not what token means
probably the best vore kino we'll have for decades to come
Be fun if a bunch of UFOs came by and began indulging themselves on the buffet.
happy for the people on deviantart who finally got their whirr vore fantasies made into a movie
yeah too bad this was a few years too late for the Cinemaphile goldface memes
UFO even seemed a bit bigger afterward.
Just wish there was hypno tho
5.5/10
>2-3 other threads with tons of good discussion about how Peele is a self-absorbed hack.
>This is the thread that survives.
>Peele is a self-absorbed hack threads died! Whaaaaaaaaaaa!
hurry up and say the N word already.
imagine being so crippled by the Black person word you can't even TYPE it.
The movie's legitimately bad and he's got his head so far up his ass that he ruined what could have been a very competent man vs. nature flick.
>Coins and keys but other shit like clothing and bones aren't expelled because reasons.
>Coins and keys dropped from 50m up are basically bullets.
>Monster doesn't expel blood in the beginning scene when it's regurgitating the leftovers of the hikers.
>For some reason the screams of those hikers are still heard while it's shitting out their keys and loose change.
>Monster should have eaten the giant inflatable cowboy at Jupiter's Claim ages ago and this movie never should have happened.
>Monster's so dumb that it'll stop it's attempts to eat you if you stop looking at it, while simultaneously being intelligent enough to be on a feeding schedule with Steve Yuen's character.
>Unstoppable hoover vacuum that can survive sucking parts of buildings and wheelchairs but gets defeated by an inflatable balloon.
>Monster arbitrarily morphs into a shitty balloon Cthulu during the ending.
>Only during the ending when it's the main characters involved does it take 20 minutes to inspect and attempt to eat them instead of just hoovering them up instantly like it's done the entire rest of the movie.
>My little nitpicks mean the movie is bad!
maybe 4 u
>Foundational internal logic conflicts are minor nitpicks.
Just turn your brain off bro lmaooo
NNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! Obi-Wan SAT ON A LOG!!! This has MASSIVE Implications for the Star Wars Universe and retroactively ruined all the movies!!!
>But it does need to be setup, especially if there's significant effort in establishing that this is a creature that functions and behaves based on a very specific ruleset
why do you assume the characters that tried to establish the ruleset aren't flawed? it's an alien, they can get the rules wrong. it also doesn't have to have consistent rules, as again, it's not real.
>why do you assume the characters that tried to establish the ruleset aren't flawed? it's an alien, they can get the rules wrong. it also doesn't have to have consistent rules, as again, it's not real.
I wouldn't say there's much horror, only specific scenes, thriller is more likely but it also turns into an aciton film in the latter half plus there's a lot of comedy because Peele is a Hitchwiener fan
>okay, but i don't care about that
but everyone else does. peele thinks people don't care about "logic" but they absolutely do. he's no david lynch.
>and a great way he incorporated the central theme through the UFO / monkey parallel
it was a lazy two-three minute flash back scene, dude
now that i think about it, this movie reminds me of super 8. incredibly mediocre throwback movie with no particular thought put into the plot.
>peele is a hitchwiener fan
he ain't no hitchwiener.
>everyone else does
A lot of people in the thread seemingly don't.
Hi Adam
YMS actually liked it, gave it a 7
Those are YMS/Cinemasins tier criticisms though.
that's true
>coins and keys are metal, clothes are natural fibers or hydrocarbon polymers, aka not metal, bones are mostly made of collagen and some calcium, and aren't as hard to grind up as pure metal
>it's expelling them at high velocity
>it was choking on the fake horse the second time you absolute fricking brainlet
Not even bothering to address the rest of this shit because you can't use your fricking brain to connect two points
Filtered.
>All this complaining
And this is why the vore talk is comparatively more pleasant, lol.
My impression is that the film was still a bit of a rough draft in places, leaving things that didn't make sense completely.
Also needed more vore.
COPE
this is peeles worst film
In what way?
Get Out was incredibly straightforward and blatant with mediocre visuals, looked like a basic Blumhouse film most of the time. Us had better cinematography but it was pretty convoluted tonally, and essentially a stretched out Twilight Zone episode. Nope is his best work, best cinematography, not as obvious as Get Out and doesn't have a theme nearly as manipulative, balances thriller / action / comedy much better.
>OMG a heckin UFO show I brought the whole family bro you can't miss this it will be kino
imagine emu lady struggling futilely with the cacophany of screams and confusion surrounding her
do their clothes get digested first? The entire family could be sliding around together all naked
eww and what if it it ate a horse alongside them but they ended up getting squished against its butt as they were all slowly pushed forward by the slimy undulating walls haha
Damn, I didn't know we were doing degeneracy Olympics here. Just keep stacking you degen. Keep stacking.
and if the scared horse pooped what would happen...
Nope
What's so crazy about that? Have you never gone to a nudist water park with your family and felt yourselves all sliding across each other's naked bodies in the inflatable boat going down the slide? Imagine never experiencing that.
m night shamylan curse
>opens thread
>voregay general
I hate this place
>make an alien that eats people because scary
>show iternals for extra scare because that's not done often
>don't know about the depraved horrors of the internet
the game was rigged from the start
Did you like Otis Jr as a character?
The characters were serviceable but nothing special. Jupe was the most interesting one because he has a backstory which relates to current events in a neat way.
Where can I cop a cam rip homies
just go to an early showing for like $10
>ayo hol up it turns out da wy peopl were da real raycis
>OJ is a horsesexual autist that doesn't make eye contact
>ends up living because he never makes eye contact with Jean Jacket
>Autism will save you
Everyone in this will survive.
wait you guys are actually paying money and risking getting covid to see this?
just watched it, 7/10
taking a point off for terrible attempts at jump scares
Thinking of seeing it soon but first I have to know.. Is there any shoehorned in, cringey "comedic dialogue"? Shit like that ruins a lot of modern horror for me.
There are some lines here and there but nothing really forced or trying to undercut a moment with a joke. It's pretty natural.
What I can't figure out is the reason for making a sci-fi version of Jaws in the first place. It's kind of a neat idea but the movie isn't scary enough to just be horror for its own sake, so not having any deeper substance than "space jaws" is very disappointing
That's what he Gordy plot was for.
So nope only cost 68 million U.S. dollars, probably had a small advertising and marketing budget. Bros, what is it's break even point?
Would you say 150 million U.S. dollars?
probably like 100
in two days it has already made 44 million even tho from the first day it ewas estimated to make this amout of money in a week, but the box office is instead rising, it's gonna make at least as much as Us and Nope (250 million i think), probably more
Why didn’t the alien eat the inflated cowboy until it was floating in the air? Wouldn’t it have eaten it at the beginning?
