Personally I'd say practice, which sounds super basic but I didn't get good overnight. Get used to drawing on the tablet you've got. Use all the tools in whatever program you're using. Personally I tend to overshoot my lines and then erase them to make my strokes come out better.

yeah it's a lot of work but i say now is the best and easiest time tons of vids supplies are easier and more widely available but yeah I'm just trying to learn digital which is my big weakness (also i took a long time off drawing cause of classes and covid)

I don't think having a "Goo" outlook is going to prevent this. The world we live in isn't exactly "personality friendly" in expressing yourself. If the environment you live in stifles you then even though you try as hard as you can it will steep its way into you. Sometimes it only impacts you in small ways other times you feel like a completely different person. It sucks but I guess the best way to combat it is to try to persevere through it all. At the end of the day its still you in the mirror.

Mac’s best friend is Bloo. Goo is his friend, but is often annoyed by her and is usually happy not having her around all the time. I guess Frankie would be his best human friend, but that depends on if you think she’s too old to be his friend.

I don't see Mac and Frankie ever happening realistically. Frankie was a grown woman for years before she even met Mac, who isn't even pubescent. Outside of /ss/ art it probably wouldn't actually happen, and it'd be really suspect if it did. If it's not Goo it'd be some random no-name his age. Frankie does seem like she will be single into her thirties though.

This thread gave me an epiphany on why I liked Goo so much and wished she was on the show more:
She's what Bloo should have been.
The whole point of Bloo and Mac's relationship is that Mac was a lonely and shy kid that got bullied by his brother a lot so he had an imaginary friend that would be his friend as well as encourage him to be more outgoing. This isn't just me speculating or making shit up, The Wilt movie showed that every imaginary friend represents an issue their respective kid has and helps them with their internal struggles.
Problem is, for some baffling reason, as the show went on Bloo was less outgoing and more of just a geniune butthole who often cared very little of Mac's feelings. Bloo is supposed to help and support Mac but most episodes if anything has Bloo being a detriment to Mac. They probably did this because they needed someone to create conflict but they went to far with it. Bloo could have been mischievous but well meaning, but they just plainly made him a jerk.
Goo fits that balance to foil Mac. She's hyperactive and creates conflict but the key diffrence is its never out of malice or selfishness. She clearly cares about Mac and wants to do good but her extreme outgoing personality sometimes leads them to some trouble. This is what the show should have been centered around- Bloo teaching Mac to have more confidence and be more extroverted and Mac teaching Bloo to be more calm and mature. Bloo fails in that regard but Goo fits that role like a glove.
Thanks for basically summarizing my issues with Bloo in the show, always had trouble articulating just why he irritated me at times. I still really like the show but it does feel like it didn't live up to its potential.

Personally I'd say practice, which sounds super basic but I didn't get good overnight. Get used to drawing on the tablet you've got. Use all the tools in whatever program you're using. Personally I tend to overshoot my lines and then erase them to make my strokes come out better.

I don't think having a "Goo" outlook is going to prevent this. The world we live in isn't exactly "personality friendly" in expressing yourself. If the environment you live in stifles you then even though you try as hard as you can it will steep its way into you. Sometimes it only impacts you in small ways other times you feel like a completely different person. It sucks but I guess the best way to combat it is to try to persevere through it all. At the end of the day its still you in the mirror.

Must be tiring to deal with her all the time. From what little we’ve seen of their interactions, Mac can only tolerate Goo temporarily, but for the most part is kind of uncomfortable with her. Even if she is his only human friend his age, I don’t see him going for her.

I don't see Mac and Frankie ever happening realistically. Frankie was a grown woman for years before she even met Mac, who isn't even pubescent. This thread gave me an epiphany on why I liked Goo so much and wished she was on the show more:
She's what Bloo should have been.
The whole point of Bloo and Mac's relationship is that Mac was a lonely and shy kid that got bullied by his brother a lot so he had an imaginary friend that would be his friend as well as encourage him to be more outgoing. This isn't just me speculating or making shit up, The Wilt movie showed that every imaginary friend represents an issue their respective kid has and helps them with their internal struggles.
Problem is, for some baffling reason, as the show went on Bloo was less outgoing and more of just a geniune butthole who often cared very little of Mac's feelings. Bloo is supposed to help and support Mac but most episodes if anything has Bloo being a detriment to Mac. They probably did this because they needed someone to create conflict but they went to far with it. Bloo could have been mischievous but well meaning, but they just plainly made him a jerk.
Goo fits that balance to foil Mac. She's hyperactive and creates conflict but the key diffrence is its never out of malice or selfishness. She clearly cares about Mac and wants to do good but her extreme outgoing personality sometimes leads them to some trouble. This is what the show should have been centered around- Bloo teaching Mac to have more confidence and be more extroverted and Mac teaching Bloo to be more calm and mature. Bloo fails in that regard but Goo fits that role like a glove.
Thanks for basically summarizing my issues with Bloo in the show, always had trouble articulating just why he irritated me at times. I still really like the show but it does feel like it didn't live up to its potential.
