I liked this sketch
Holy fricking kek I forgot about this sketch. Top-notch kino
Any sketch where Kevin gets to play an butthole is great.
The guy at the party who keeps making faux pas with the guests and pissing off his wife is a good one.
If you can't see the humor here, you're dead inside.
Too long.
>zoomer attention span
>belabouring the point until it is no longer funny is good
I get that people didn't have a lot going on and had to kill time when a lot of this old shit was made. Still, not that great.
It wasn't "belabouring" anything, moron. It was building on the premise and intensifying the absurdity. Lay off the TikTok; it's literally shrinking portions of your gray matter.
Yes I did.
I’m gonna squish your head OP
OP is evil
EVIL
MANSERVENT HECUBUS
ARISE
not evil. E-veeel
Still do
Scott was the top gay after Paul Lynde and Charles Nelson Reilly died
And really has never been surpassed
There's an interview with him where he kind of shits on how PC the current generation is. I've noticed a lot of old gays are like that.
That's because their generation and brand was unapologetic, fresh and full of energy, they used the words gay and homosexual like black people use the word "homie" with a soft "a"
The last of the gays who had a hard time with being gay, where you actually had to have a bit of bravery and fortitude to be gay and out of the closet. It selected for gays with character in media and the public eye.
Now it's celebrated to be a homosexual and condemned to be a straight man who doesn't hate himself for being straight and male, so that's why you have all these degenerate tasteless shitlover homos. The unashamed hetero man is now the brave countercultural icon, and largely condemned by the mainstream, with only the worst examples (e.g. Tate) given the spotlight in order to poison the well and keep men in their place.
>HAHA I'M LE GAY NOW!
Wow. Hilarious.
leave Nick Mullen alone
a boot to the head
The Wrong Guy with Dave Foley is hilarious. You should check that out.
30 Helens agree
YES
You can never pay too much for a good shoe.
>Your feet are what you walk on!
i gave canadians a pass for 2 decades because of strange brew, SCTV, trailer park boys, and kids in the hall
that pass is now expired
STFU American homosexual. Name anything done in current year even remotely as funny as your list. And if you say Sunny I’ll fricking drive my snowmobile up to your shithole apartment and cut your nuts off you Amerimutt
first of all, you can be forwarded to the mounties for that post for re-education
second of all, ive been to your country and Ive seen the legions of metrosexuals called canadians and Im not worried about you at all
third, any politician that runs on a campaign of invading and annexing canada will get my vote, so watch it
ummm, you’re Chinese
What makes zoomers shit and piss and cum in their pants with laughter?
Flipping water bottles and criminally harassing strangers "as a prank".
quick Cinemaphile, name the Doors bassist
whatever man this shit's boring who cares
hey how about I shut your FRICKING face
Ray Manzarek
it was a MEME, you dip
How to Become a Doors Fan is one of their best sketches.
Screw You Taxpayer is my favorite, however.
Herman Menderchuck?
I remember seeing this a few times and it having a few funny sketches, a few boring but mostly awkward gay shit that made my dad give me the side eye when he entered the room.
>cast doesn't have a single woman or nonwhite member
Yikes, it's practically a klan meeting
They had Ezri Dax as a girlfriend character...
...more than once.
She makes a cameo in Brain Candy.
And my wet dreams in the 90s.
I want to say that the other times real women were used they were always with Bruce. Did he pull a lot of pussy IRL?
You'd think it would be Dave or Mark but it'd be funnier if it was Bruce who was the biggest poonhound.
Dave got absolutely RUINED in a divorce. One of the worst divorce rapings you'll ever hear about. Something tells me he's not much of a pussy slayer.
Wow that's fricking terrible. Women need to learn that they get the resources by being with the man and providing him sex. Leaving means leaving the resources behind. The law needs to start siding with moral decency. No fault divorce instigated by a woman should be granted only if followed by her execution.
Also hot girl with the crazy eyes from The Wedding Singer as "strip club on-looker".
I loved KITH so I recommended my cool bros to rent Brain Candy, and they lasted about 10 minutes before the over the top homosexual stuff made them shut it off and talk shit about me for months.
Damn it Scott...
If you don't vomit and start screaming and punching walls after seeing a gay guy, that means YOU'RE gay.
You basically outed yourself to your friends, anon.
I think you might want to develop a little more fortitude when faced with the disgusting and dangerous things in life.
looks like ol Marcus O RLY-us is on that summa dat good shit
Kids in the Hall?
more like Kids that got WALLED
Mark looks good tbh.
The only one who looks really bad is Kevin, homie looks sickly and like he might have the AIDS
It's just that god awful excuse for a head of hair. Dunno what the solution is besides a wig or becoming a hat guy, cause bald wouldn't work for him, but his face doesn't look as bad as his hair makes it look.
Men don't have a wall, gay.
That said, the Amazon revival was complete fricking dogshit.
don't brame me
I stub my toe
never heard of it. gen x watched cheers, frasier and married with children
real sketch comedy homies was watching Mr. Show in the 90s
that guy on the right looks like a chud. i dunno why but i got real chud vibes from him going by that pic
he looks like he eats 50 year old MREs to me
This made zillennials piss and shit themselves with laughter
Shit, wrong image
its pretty funny if you're coming from a perspective of participating in a well functioning and high-trust society
Xoomer here
I’m sharting right now thinking about the Running homosexual sketch
>xoomer
do u unironically think u r something other than a fricking boomer
These guys were prophets.
Indeed they were.
I liked their office sketches at A.T. & Love, often with Scott as Danny Husk, and Dave as the fat bald boss.
>and Dave as the fat bald boss
He was so good in every skit he played that character. In "Who's To Blame" I always laugh at that stupid walk he does going down the first staircase
Everyone's top character types.
>Dave
Jovial lunatics
>Kevin
Pathetic guys and buttholes
>Mark
Feels like he didn't really have a type but could be used anywhere
>Bruce
Cool guys and and bizarre characters
>Scott
Slimeballs and women
I thought they were all strong performers as women, they got a lot right doing female characters
They were all good but I think that Scott was the best at making them realized characters. Francesca Fiore, Fran, and the hooker are all great.
he was the best actor because he so often had to camouflage his fruitiness for the sake of a sketch
>Dave
The everyman
>Kevin
The nerdy spazz dork / guy who’s good at freaking out loudly
>Mark
the chameleon
>Bruce
the oddball
>Scott
The gay guy
how can anyone not like kevin, did a short curly headed guy steal your prom date or something?
>character types
Dave Foley played the hottest woman as Jocelyn the hooker, but Kevin played the funniest women as the uptight types with the shrewish falsetto.
No, that shit was pretty prevalent in colleges even back in the 60s, it just didn’t survive outside of them until twitter
>there is literally no difference between what was considered blatantly satirical over-exaggeration years ago and what people now use as legitimate talking points
I hate clown world so much
>blatantly satirical over-exaggeration
You think college kids/feminists never said/thought stupid shit before twitter?
>said/thought stupid shit
That was broadcast to millions? Think anon think.
Ban the internet and it all goes back to normal in 20 years
so never, got it
>sorry but naked fat black crippled dykes are hard to find
one of my favourite lines
>sorry but naked fat black crippled dykes are hard to find
not anymore
Brain Candy is one of my favorite comedies but I watched some of their tv sketches and they're terrible
The sketches are really everywhere. Some are great and some just aren't good, and which ones are which varies wildly by person. In every episode there was at least one sketch I hated
That's why I enjoy it. Some times they'd do something that didn't work but I appreciate them doing ideas because they thought they were interesting because otherwise there wouldn't be great sketches like "Every Day We Work" or the Buddy Cole baseball one.
Yeah the experimented and went weird, specific, high concept, absurd places. Sausages is barely funny but still one of my favourite sketches.
Hahaha he sings about knowing guys named Dave xD
That's funny.
30 Helens would agree.
The Daves that I know would also enjoy this, the Daves that I know.
That gif is never used correctly and it really rustles my yimmies.
You're welcome for using it correctly for once.
It was used in an egregiously incorrect manner, I hate you so much.
You're wrong though. The joke (Daves) is underwhelming and flat (that's why it's funny) in the manner of the McBain stand up act. Remain steadfastly rekt.
I wonder if the MCBain stand-up comedy movie was scripted.
Sausages?
Sausages!
SAUSAGES!!
We... are all.... sausages...
Each day we shovel fuel, each day we work in silence
Those always stood out as extra frickin' weird.
I found the Chicken Lady incredibly disturbing as a child
Bruce sketches are weird.
Bruce was the dreamer, the artist.
I never ate sausages with syrup until I saw this, now it's the only way I eat em.
Grew up in Canada with British grandparents. Sausages with syrup was the only way to eat them.
>That's Darrill
this is their best one
lonely sarcastic guy
until proven guilty
running homosexual
homophobic much?
yeah
I hope you're joking, cause the guy playing the homosexual is gay and he came up with the sketch.
People were mature and nuanced, anon. You wouldn't understand. It was a different era.
This shows how political correctness is completely artificial and people would be making things like this today if freedom of expression wasn't artificially shamed.
Hard to believe that was on public TV. How things have changed!
And Here's Why That's a Gay Thing!
THE MOTHER, THE FATHER, THE SERPENT, THE PRIEST
THE FOREMAN, THE WOMAN, THE WIDOW, THE BEAST
i always liked the "Will Do" guy, i was definitely Dave Foley in this sketch everytime I let someone borrow something of mine and they'd never return it id sperg out the same way he did in these skits lol
kino sequel to this sketch too where hes in prison
YOU CHOSE A CHILD MOLESTOR'S JAM!
Most people didn't like Kids in the Hall during its initial run, even less than something like Mr. Show (which most people also didn't care for).
I don't know when the KITH's initial run even was, I watched it in syndication on Comedy Central in the 90s. No one watched Mr. Show because it was on HBO
Didn't like Kids in the Hall, but Dave Foley went on to star in the TV series Newsradio which was amazing and no one on this site knows about somehow.
Other than Dave on newsradio, and Mark on SNL for a while and then Superstore in recent years it’s weird none of them have otherwise had much mainstream success in America. I think Bruce directed that SNL spinoff movie about that Molly Shannon character Superstar or whatever, then followed it up with that Jason Lee / Tom Green movie stealing Harvard and that was a big bomb and I think the end of his directing career lol
Mark was also the MC's dad on Man Seeking Woman
Foley was the principal of the high school Charlie and Dee worked at in Sunny. He was on 2-3 episodes iirc. All 5 of them are real "hey it's that guy"s.
Kevin does decently with voice acting, and I think Scott's gotten a few recurring roles.
Kevin MacDonald's done his share of voice work. Pleakley in a bunch of Lilo and Stitch shit in film, tv, and video games; Pastor Dave in That 70's show; a buttload of cameos on sitcoms of the KITH era and shortly after.
he was also a host on that bizarre celebrity poker show
?t=148
Kevin McDonald was in an Outkast music video.
So what should we do with these uppity israelites?
Because it was hilarious.
>t. millennial
xillenial here and Girl Drink Drunk is a top 5 sketch of all time and real art
Had an oldee coworker that said Kids in the Hall, Three Amigos, and The Young Ones where the funniest thing.
He'll show me clips of them and none of then where remotely funny. I gave him a pity chuckle.
Seinfeld was good tho, we bonded over that. Only because I grew up with no cable so the only thing to watch on TV was either reruns of Seinfeld or King of Queens.
three amigos is fricking awesome
Three Amigos fricking sucks dick. The only joke I laughed was the bird calling bit when they're breaking into the studio at the beginning.
The rest was boring
it's basically just a much shittier and boring Galaxy Quest
t. the black guy from community
Yeah, it was bad
This one has always been my dads favorite, we used to quote it all the time
He’s hip, he’s cool, he’s 45.
Best sketch show of all time. Spot number two is vacant and then all the other shlopp falls in.
>it's a Dave dresses up as a girl episode
Finally a decent thread tonight.
watching mighty boosh s2/s3 right now
Running homosexual running free
See the homosexual see the running homosexual
Running homosexual running free
God speed through Texas homosexual.
>Howdy, stripling!
>Howdy... homosexual.
This made 12 year old me piss and shit and fart and my penis dry coughed.
>The President of the United States is a lying vicious bastard
best KITH sketch off the top of my head
Used to laugh my ass off at this show. Gave the Amazon reboot until the 2nd or 3rd skit and then tapped out. I don't want to stare at nude 60 year olds pretending to be gay.
>pretending
>Gave the Amazon reboot until the 2nd or 3rd skit and then tapped out
Same. It was horrible, but I knew deep down it would be
Anyone know which sketch had Dave jumping beautifully out of a high rise window. He was wearing business attire.
I searched and I searched. Thank you so much.
reminder that Neve Campbell had her first role (as jailbait) in a KITH sketch
Whoever this woman was in Brain Candy was hot as hell to me
Indeed.
>The absolute hottest, funnest, and coolest of the Gen X girls knew about and loved Kids in the Hall.
>Most of them were sane, didn't hate men, and were into cool shit and liked to have fun.
>I was too young for all of them. They are now in their 40s, and 50s with kids and/or grandkids.
This is not my beautiful house! This is not my beautiful wife!
for me its, Francesca Fiore, the brazilian nazi model
