Real reason? It costs too much for a shitty TCL. If you want size then just get a projector so you can enter 120 inch+ territory. Or just get the 83 inch OLED like a normal person. Spending $5k on a TCL literally isn’t worth it
Power consumption and heat dissipation. Might be nice during winter but summer will just make it a housefire. Just get a projector if you want to go past 83 inch. You could have a 300 inch screen if you want. True 4k projectors (not pixel shift cheating) with lasers instead of bulbs are like $5k these days
In three years it will cost 1k. In 5 it will cost 700. Believe me, I know the pain of paying a huge amount of money for a TV, only to have better available at 1/2 the price within a handful of years.
Bought it last night when they dropped the price - currently have a 4k Xiaomi C2 Laser with a 90" ALR screen - love the picrel but not a fan in dark scenes. Everytime I fire up the LGC1 im reminded of that. Supposedly the calibrated TCL is 95% of an OLED - we'll see. 120hz VRR with a 3080ti for race sims should be fun.
Honestly, I can go either way between my OLED and projector. Sometimes I love the big screen and big sound, others I like to sit at my desk and watch a movie with headphones in.
smart tv's suck man I wish we had a straightforward choice.
can't escape the shit, I just want to turn on me telly and have instant viewing, not a shitty mobile phone operating system booting up and being slow w0twdand gay and making me feel gay
you will probably regret it
What stimulus
>tcl
>smart tv
> not even QLED
LITERALLY SAYS QLED YOU BLIND c**t
sorry. i couldn't see that because i wasn't using a qled monitor.
>QLED
Enjoy your burn-in
>"not even qled"
>implying qled is good
have a nice day
Enjoy your backlight.
Enjoy not enjoying any dark scene.
A tv bigger than 32 inches is a waste of money
Go be a Black person somewhere else.
Black folk are the idiots buying huge TV's with gibs

They dont hold their value well at all
>TCL
KEK
native jellyfin app, you cuck! that's all I need.
>He fell for the projector meme
>he watches kino on less than 300 inches of screen
What are you? Poor?
I'm waiting for the beginning of Black Friday to buy this for my kinostation.
>42"
I have to place it in my bedroom. I already own a 60 inch Philips OLED tv in my living room.
I own 9 tvs and 5 computer moitors
And you probably fill them all with porn.
it was the first thing I put on when I hung my projector
put it in bitcoin, then don't look at it for 4 years, then buy 7 of those instead.
better get a laser projector with a kickass top tier screen, and a regular 60"OLed TV next to it for gaming , etc. all for that same price.
You already spent it on troony blow jobs
the picture will look like ass for everything that isn't in 4k
In three years it will cost 1k. In 5 it will cost 700. Believe me, I know the pain of paying a huge amount of money for a TV, only to have better available at 1/2 the price within a handful of years.
in 5 years we're gong to be praying for rain so we have potable water to make soup out of each other with
>how was i supposed to know technology gets cheaper as time goes on?
are you moronic?

4k isn't enough pixels for more than like 65 inches.
I think any TV over 60 inches is overkill. It's just too fricking big and your eyes are always darting around to see everything.
You should donate the money to your local church instead.

>stimulus check
wut
A95k is probably better. I would not spend thousands more fore extra inches. I’d rather have a Sony or LG
>>TCL
This is the Donald Trump of 4K TVs.
>TCL
If you want a tv that big just get a 4k projector instead. Fancy ones are like 2k.
>stimulus check
Are americans still doing this socialist shit?
Your check is going to Ukraine.
