cautionary tale. WB will never recover from this.

"Toxic" Fanbase would've hated anything they put out. But hey sexy amazons
WTF is wrong with you people?
Pleading for a better version of a film isn't toxic.
Are the people that prefer the directors cut of Daredevil or Kingdom of Heaven toxic?
>better
Hey I put it in quotes.
Yeah.
*longer
The whedon version is better in this webm but the snyder cut was better
The snyder cut version doesn’t makes why she needs the sword if she was gonna jump down to the floor anyways. She could have just picked it up
is this real? Zack forgot why Wondie needed the sword back in his own movie?
>he thinks Snyder is smart at all
ngmi
The term you are looking for is Oscar-winning.
No but bullying and threatening people is toxic
Stop using twitter words. You can just call those types of people buttholes, like a normal person.
I'm supposed to believe those stick thin women could swing those large hammers? Typical Hollywood wokeness out of control with unrealistic bullshit
The same thing happen to Voltron Legendary Defender.
They never learn.

What was the story here?
Also 500whole people lol my mom can get that many people to sign up for anything through her FB friends
>Also 500whole people lol my mom can get that many people to sign up for anything through her FB friends
This is fairly early internet. Like 97/98. Basically people upset over Hal Jordan being killed off in the Green Lantern comics.
>>now the toxic fanbase will hate every new thing you make
Then why did I love Aquaman as much as MOS (the best of Snyder's films)
Pic Unrelated!
>the best of Snyder's films
Low bar
No MOS is fantastic.
Cons!
> Not addressing the destruction.
> Execution of the tornado scene.
> Smashing the trucker's truck.
> Pa Kent not having enough positive/optimistic scenes.
> Pa Kent's "maybe" line.
> Clark accidentally taking Zod into Smallville.
Pro or Con depending on your subjective preferences!
> Killing Zod.
> Clark being genuinely conflicted about revealing himself to the public and the potential dire consequences of such.
> Fight scenes/battles are not short. IMO they are just the right length but some consider the final fight to have been overly long.
> No jokes breaking tension during the fight or life & death sequences.
Pros!
> Clark learning to fly + him stopping the world engine are universally praised scenes even among haters.
> Extremely well choreographed epic fight scenes.
> Simultaneously grounded in a realistic feeling earth but with a truly epic feel, scope & scale.
> Incredibly well crafted sets and outfits.
> Beautiful score.
> Flawless cast.
> Best, most competent, least overly emotional Lois Lane in the history of live action except MAYBE Durance.
> Zod is a great villain.
> Faora is iconic & sexy as frick.
> No homaging/copying/retreading the Donner films (aside from using zod)
> Fantastic Krypton opening.
> Some nice military porn without overdoing it or being "America frick yeah" like MBay.
> Inspiring despite the honest & slightly dour presentation of humanity being flawed. Scenes of the Daily Planet staff, the main solider & Toby from the West Wing being willing to sacrifice themselves are all well done.
No. It was trash.
>Cons
>doesn't list the most obvious con(picrel)
Into the trash with your opinion.
He did, moron. Not surprising snyder-haters can't read.
>the best of Snyder's films
Here's a list of the only good movies he's ever made:
But seriously, the only good movies he's made are his first two.
Dawn of the Dead and 300.
Everything else is varying degrees of bad.
Yes capeshit movie fans are all idiots.
Well then again, almost every fandom is full of idiots.
Even by fandom standards.
>release the best capeshit film ever made
>nothing can live up to it
Its a blessing and a curse.
>best capeshit film ever made
That's not Richard Donner's Superman!
Beyond Christopher reeves and gene hackman having a ball, the movie has aged badly.
>You will like Shazam's billy johnsonsberg
>You will like Big Batgirl
>You will like superspic
Frick off.
WB really fricked up. Snyder was only in for 5 movies to direct himself. And I mean, the first couple of movies in the MCU weren't all billion dollar hits, only Iron Man 1 and Captain America were popular at all.
But they kept at it and now phase 1 is fondly remembered.
Snyder's universe would be fondly remembered as well by everyone if they had just let him finish his story instead of constant course correcting and driving the man out.
My only gripe with his universe was his idea to make Superman a literal cuck to Batman. Either way, Snyder was planning on a reboot after his story ended.
They panicked due to mixed media reception with very vocal critics. I think even the actors was starting to get agitated the films being lambasted in every turn.
>Snyder's universe would be fondly remembered as well by everyone
Doubtful
People are already starting to come around to MOS with MCU fatigue setting in.
>MCU entrenchment is making idiots rethink bad movies.
You can't gaslight me. I vividly remember all the backlash from casuals being about a lack of quips.
>make Superman a literal cuck to Batman
He didn’t. Clark was dead at the time. That is not cucking.
When are we getting the Ayer cut of Suicide Squad?
Don't forget Snyder threw Geeks+Gamers under the bus on their own livestream.
I never saw the Whedon version and I was shocked by how shit Snyder's JL was. I legitimately can't imagine how buck broken DC fans must have been by Joss that they thought Snyder's version was somehow good. Letting Snyder handle any degree of writing or story decisions is just supremely moronic. The only decent movies he's made were using existing comics as near 1:1 storyboards, and anything original he's done is just braindead drivel.
>just braindead drivel
That's all Snyder is actually good at though.
I'd rather he makes Dawns of the Dead and Sucker Punches, than adapt existing stories. He's proven to miss the point time and time again. 300 was the only time he did an adaptation properly.
>The only decent movies he's made were using existing comics as near 1:1 storyboards
And even then, he still managed to miss the point of Watchmen.
The giant squid is not necessary for the story. Dr. Manhattan being the existential threat that unites humanity lines up with the squid's role in the story.
>And even then, he still managed to miss the point of Watchmen.
It didn't you moronic capeshitter.
At this point the only sane decision DC and WB can make is to take a short term L, shut the entire superhero comic movie division down for twenty years to let people forget the mistakes of the past and then try again. Constantly reminding them with sequels set in the same universe is just going to make things worse.
Whedon cut is better than the Snyder cut, but I'd still rather inflict harm upon my testicles than watch either.
Isn't the Whedon cut still 90% Snyder, and didn't the Snyder cut have a massive amount of reshoots that were done with the benefit of hearing what people didn't like so they could change it, and doesn't the Snyder cut still suck even with all that
Whedon cut has neat things like jokes and Superman smiling with a fake mouth but still smiling.
and it's shorter holy frick.
No.
Is what mousecucks which was true
Shut up, b***h.
Whedon tried to streamline some things but there's only so much you can do in post. He also tried to give Wonder Woman some characterization instead of 0. Some stuff is moronic and rushed but you can see why in most of it. Basically Josstice League is lame while the Snyder Cut plot is nonsensical.
The thing he failed the most was Cyborg, but not killing Silas was obviously a higher up decision. And honestly it makes sense. Cyborg would have no supporting cast going forward because Snyder always has to kill a parent.
>Would have no supporting cast
I mean, Star Labs was right there. Just make Ryan Choi his supporting cast being a guy who knew his father more intimately than him both a character he can relate to in one instance for sharing love and respect for his father but also resent being a representation of the reasons why his father wasn't really in his life all that much.
I mean Joss' streamlining was idiotic since he just cut out whole parts of narrative and jammed in stupid sitcom scenes for nothing.
Streamlining the snyder cut would've been hard but not impossible. For one lose some of the slow mo you should get a few minutes, Barry only needs one introduction, I'd go for an abridged Iris Meet Cute, it's just the more interesting scene. Barry could meet his dad in his solo while his last scene could've just been a small shot of him going to prison to meet him. I'm sure Bruce mentioned his dad in the recruitment scene. The Amazon funeral scene can be shorter. Aquaman doesn't need an icelandic hymn as he sloooowly walks in the water. Ditch the Martian Manhhunter reveal, that fricking ruined a good scene honestly. Don't need any of the Knightmare shit. Only need one Steppenwolf wants to go home scene. The 4 hour cut was really just Snyder refusing to abridge anything, but Joss' rework is practically a different movie.
Marvelcucks STILL seething about the Snyder cut lel how pathetic
Good morning sirs!
At least whedon have less of that Black person cyborg kek
Cyborg was ALWAYS a brother though.
>now the toxic fanbase will hate every new thing you make
Wrong.
Except WB isn’t even making anything. They’ve been delaying and re-writing their DCEU for nearly 6 years since the 2017 version of JL. Every time there’s a minor inconvenience or shift in trends WB scorch earths their whole game plan. They only made Snyder Cut because Snyder agreed to work for less as a passion project and it made good buzz for their streaming service. It was one thing that Snyder Cut being superior made them look stupid in hindsight, but the fact that they’ve continued to make no progress on alternatives to Snyder’s story has only reinforced those fans resolve. Those fans are obviously in serious denial about the logistics of getting that ball rolling again. Affleck is in his 50’s now, Cavil and Gadot are pushing 40. If things had actually followed through from the start, they’d all be nearing their 10 year end point soon similar to marvel actors like RDJ and Chris Evans. But with no alternate path forward to the point where WB’s now reneged on their soft reboot with Keaton & Batgirl, it’s no wonder people still clamor for the Darkseid war plot. WB saying Snyder’s fans are the enemy is just cope for them shooting themselves in the foot.
