How to do you use narcan? Is it like CPR, can I get a little business card certificate for knowing? Should I put it on a resume?

I used to work in a library with a huge amount of junkies and homeless and I never heard of any of the staff being trained to use narcan or any junkies oding in the building.

Actually, you have a point. I don't know why I'm not just going to my local library to check stuff out. It'd be good exercise too.

I used to borrow cookbooks from the library, but some of them are dirty and nasty. Librarians try their best though.

my local librarian was a weeb because their selection of early 2000s anime makes no sense otherwise

That's so sad. I don't get why they're paid such a pittance. I thought government work was supposed to be an easy comfortable paycheck for the most part.

    >go to public library
    >assailed by horrible smell of unwashed bums
    >every surface feels dirty
    >the book you borrow gives you bedbugs

I haven't been to a library in over 10 years. Frick librarians for letting libraries turn into flophouses.

    >but teh liberry is for EVerYoNe
Not people who degrade the library and make it a worse place for everyone else.

Where do you live? Admittedly I haven't been to a library in at least 10 years. This thread had me interested in visiting mine but now I'm worried.

I live in Houston. Guarantee your local library is filled with bums too, librarians are nearly all pathologically "nice" women. Public libraries are all shit anyway, university libraries blow public libraries away
        >books in foreign languages other than Spanish
        >rare books
        >university press books
        >smell of books, not bum odor
        >no screeching bebe kids running around

Well damn. I'm a Chicagogay. I do have access to my University's library which I never bothered visiting unless I had an assignment telling me to do so. The thing is, the neighborhood I live in isn't really... 'drug-ish' if you know what I mean. I feel like my nearby Chicago Public Library isn't filled with undesirables. But maybe that's me being moronic.

If you got a PC with a disc drive do this:
      >Download cracked version of WinX DVD Copy Pro
      >Disconnect your PC from any internet connection
      >Put in disc
      >Run WinX as Administrator
      >WinX will probably ask for license code, just click "Remind Me Later" Shit will never pop up again unless you close and reopen.
      >Make sure on the left side the words "Clone DVD to ISO" is highlighted.
      >Disc should already be loaded by the time you opened up WinX
      >Click RUN on bottom right. Big blue button.
      >It'll take a while, but it'll work. It'll soon finish and then you can click okay and eject the disc.
      >Run Handbrake
      >Drag ISO file to Handbrake
      >Convert any files inside the ISO into whatever format you wish in whatever quality you want, with or without subtitles, etc cetera.
      >Click Start Encode. Wait til done.
Takes about an hour or so. But it'll work no matter how scratched the disc is.

    Based. Bumping this thread.
I go to my local library just about every week or so. It's how I'm able to find the good kino I'm looking for. If I really liked the movie I burn the film from the disc onto my PC with DVD Decrypter or a software that transfers the disc contents into an ISO and then use handbrake to shrink it down to a single MP4 file so it doesn't take up too much space.

Thats what I used to do back when I lived in a place that only had shitty dsl service. The local library had a ton of Criterion, Kino, and asian labels.

I don't like the yellow and beige lighting in libraries. Blockbuster had a far superior blue and white color scheme. The shitty lighting in libraries makes me want to get out of there as soon as possible. It's a feeling I rarely experience and is specific to libraries. And no, it's not that I have a problem with books. I enjoy going to bookstores. It's the atmosphere that libraries have in particular that makes me feel sick.
