I liked it. It was ok and sometimes fun. It's always cool seeing brad pitt in casual roles. Tangerine guy is also nice.
Enjoyed it but the Thomas the tank engine joke wore out its welcome 10 minutes in, so imagine my exhaustion by minute 100 when they're still being fricking made

It was pretty great, especially near the ending with jap I Need A Hero blasting as the fight kicks off
Only issue I had with it was some of the callback shots were unnecessary

It was very good. Very tightly written, interwoven story.
In Australia, they barely advertised it. They only showed a still of it before other movies with "it has Brad Pitt in it!", no trailer so I watched it with no expectation.
It's actually the best action movie I've seen in years. Really fun movie, it's a shame it's doomed to flop whilst morons will keep consuming snoozefest like John Wick
The only thing is this movie that was egregiously bad was the Black person's Thomas the Tank Engine bit they kept bashing us over the head with

It was pretty good, just corny as frick at times.
I thought it was funny they spent 5-10 minutes introducing Bad Bunny’s character just to kill the fricker lol.
Also just realized Kimiko was the train attendant.
It was so boring and had the most insufferable writing of all time. I knew it would be a Reddit movie as soon as it advertised it was made by the Deadpool guy, and I even prepared for this fact. And STILL, I could not like the movie, even when mentally preparing myself for it to be Reddit and forgive it for that. It was that fricking insufferable and boring.
The worst thing you could probably say about Bullet Train is that it doesn't do anything to really stand out. It's like a cross between John Wick, Smoking Aces, and Kill Bill without the choreography of Wick or sheer style of Kill Bill.
That being said it's a perfectly enjoyable movie unless you're a cynical butthole- most people here. It's shot well, Pitt does a good job with his role, while there's not a lot of substance it is dripping style, the humor is decent, and the final pay off is enjoyable.
Watching the girl get isekai'd was pretty great. Wasn't sure they'd have the balls to do it.
On the negative, it is pretty unremarkable. There's not much depth to it. And if you're not enjoying Pitt's character or the general humor within the first half hour you're just not going to like this movie. Also for a movie that heavily relies on it's visual substance the fight scenes don't do anything special. Better than any Marvel CGI fight, but that's not saying that much.
