Steve-O, and Jackass as a whole, were basically stuntmen and practical jokers who relied on physical comedy. Steve-O in particular seemed like almost an old school side-show circus freak in the willingness to creatively abuse his body. Johnny Knoxville was more of a classic stuntman doing funny and inventive stunts. Bam was an a-hole and lowest member because he had no balls or creativity and relied on riding Johnnys coattails. Abusing his family on hidden camera was as creative as Bam could get. Star-fricker personified.
he created/filmed cky as a vehicle for his brother’s band and his own skating. it was the template for jackass. bam’s a dick but i wouldn’t call him uncreative
You can tell he still has it in the new mime bit. The newbies act completely normal besides not making noise but Steve-O is all about body language and expressions.
He wrote soooo many good jackass skits that he wasn’t even a part of. Very creative man. He wrote the weeman and Preston bunjee cord stunt.
He even wrote the tuba treadmill stunt in 4 and that shit was great.
Also created CKY by himself and did all the editing and music.
He is a true Earth Rocket.

His fricking friends put him on medication and kicked him out of the first piece of media they were able to make after his best friend (and their colleague) died.
He was depressed because Dunn died and because his body was becoming old and shit, and all they could think of was get him out because he wasn’t 100% sober like them.
Also did you see any real pranks in Forever ? Me neither. Probably because they thought it was not appropriated for today’s audience and probably because Ehren was fighting for Bam to not bully him again.
