This moronic image forgot to mention that it could just be literal advertising, which is all shill threads are, and what this actually is. Shills are people who advertise to you to get you to buy said thing. It's not political or complicated, it's just an annoying and intrusive marketing tactic that has plagued this board and Cinemaphile for well over a decade now.

        Anonymous

        >see a thread discussing a film in a positive way
        >know you don't like this director
        >can just not go and pay for the movie because you don't like it
I don't get the shilling argument, it's a thread you can hide or ignore, no one is forcing you to pay and watch the film.

        >guy opines about a film on a message board quite literally titled "Cinemaphile - Television and Film", a use of the board concordant with its intent
        >neither OP nor anyone else suggests purchasing it, or even seeing it
        >gay shartles his maxi pad, squirts his babydick rage everywhere
        >"oh no i've entered a thread filled with things i don't like and now my c**t is hurt how could this have happened"
Why not just have a nice day? Seriously, why do you continue to exist? You're not even smart enough to understand people talking about films in a film forum is in no way "shilling".

There are 53 people here. 53. Do you really think it's an efficient use of a marketing budget to send a staff member to try and convince a 53-member gang of obese shut-ins, pedophiles, literal morons, and transexual gay degenerates to spend money on content they would only steal anyway, if they ever bothered to watch it? That's not how ad campaigns function, idiot. How are you this fricking stupid? What evolutionary purpose do you have? Why are you alive? You're human trash, too stupid to conceptualize your uselessness.

Pic related; this is how smart you are. A 14-year-old dumb enough to get cornholed raw by some Black person felon, and/or their Black person moron hatchling. That's the limit of your intellect.

The picture would be better without the 2nd part. Just the shill idenfitication. Or the solution needs to be more than simply “ignore it”. Since shills have multiple accounts to keep their threads bumping. We need to create slide threads and to give people other things to talk about

The only white people that vocally are against anti black racism most likely don’t ever have to see them, and certainly don’t have to interact with them on a daily basis. Yes America. In my school there was a majority of blacks, and the white kids would either act black or just be a silent outcast. At the school the next town over that was 95% white, there were only a few blacks and they were either silent or just went along but you could tell didn’t like anybody.

Some gyppo got a good beating just three days ago because he got drunk and asked some girls' number agressively. It was an old ex cop guy living next to the road where the girl was walking. He was tending to his garden and intervened and beat the gyppo with a rake lol. >i'm guessing they are ripping of signs where the "aliens" are just creatures from the bible
It opens with a bible quote and the theme of the dangers of "seeing the other" has a long tradition in religious text so you're probably not far off.

Maybe it’s “true form,” took too much energy to morph into. That’s why it ate like 50 people all at once that time. Or why it eats in general.

The alien looking like a stingray which killed steve irwin. the theme is animal exploitation.

They kill the alien in the end, and it's a happy ending. The alien doesn't get coaxed it just flies around the area being a danger to everyone. It kills their father at the beginning by dropping shit on him.
You're really reaching here, it's just generally about the dynamic of humans and nature. Also Peele himself is not a vegan.

Bird Box was a Quiet Place rip-off with a concept that the cruptic monster just makes you have a nice day when you see it or something like that. The alien here is like an animal, looking at it provokes it to start following you and then eat you.

Not yet but I'll try to do my best describing it--try imagining a jellyfish like this one, but it also surrounds itself with these sort of tarp-like angelic wings which it splays out to intimidate but also can sort of be used wrap around and manipulate objects like the big balloon here. It's hard to put into words but it makes sense when you see the whole thing.

It's an incredibly creative design and when it fully deploys itself to go full aggro mode in the movie it's really hypnotic to watch which is half the point anyway--when it can't stay hidden and hunt from it's cloaked form it goes to the other extreme and basically becomes an animal spreading itself out to make itself as big as possible. I legitimately caught myself thinking in the theatre "I have never seen this in a movie before", the idea of the UFO being the alien itself isn't even something I think has ever crossed my mind as an idea.

The alien is a sentient creature.
The film is about how people overestimate their control over the wild nature and get fricked over because of it. Steven Yeun's character exploits the alien for fame similarly to how the monkey was treated as a harmless thing on the TV show which gets the whole town and him killed. The main characters then need to deal with the alien creature.

Asian boy doesn’t learn his lesson, a monster kills 2 people at the beginning of the movie and rewards the asian guy with a fist bump. 20 years later the asian guy still plays with fire and wants a dangerous flying creature as a new circus money making machine; the creature kills him this time and then it gets killed by the locals.

Basically it's Herzog's Grizzly Bear but as an action thriller comedy with a giant alien monster that devours people.

But there's a character that is white in the film, how is it "no more white people"? Also the film isn't being advertized for it's diversity, and the asian character was actually meant to be played by Jesse Plemons.

                >But there's a character that is white in the film,
And? It's a token white person role.

                > how is it "no more white people"?
Because "diversity" is a path towards "no more White people." When something is 100% diverse it will be 0% White.

                >Also the film isn't being advertized for it's diversity,
It's implied based on the director and his history of making "anti-racist" aka anti-White movies.

                >diversity is a path towards no white people
Diversity as an excuse to import all types of non-white people into a country is what you're describing. A film having two black characters a white and an asian is not literally muh genonice. You have /misc/ brainrot.
Jesse Plemons had a schedule problem or something and Steven Yeun applied for the role.

There was no intention of diversity hire, Steven Yeun probably got hired because he was the only actor available.

                >black and asian Montana farmers

The film takes place in Claifornia, and I don't see why it's impossible for two black to be farmers. Also they specifically tend horses that are used in movies and it is said in the movie that happened because their ancestor was closely tied with cinema from it's inception.
The asian is not a farmer he's a con artist who lives in the nearby town.

that's the UN definition of genocide. i posted the wiki because it's more clear and concise than the UN's page. my point was that is the politically correct left's own definition of what is considered genocide, even if they don't apply it to the current situation.

                >Just a strawman,

So why didn't they replace him with another White person? Are you suggesting if one of the leads wasn't available they would've replaced a black person with a white person?

Why do you use the left's definition of genocide if you oppose the left? Also I don't agree with their definition of genocide. Genocide is either direct massacre of people based on a specific quality of these people like nationality, ethnicity etc. And purposeful replcement of the population throught aggressive pro-immigration polcies. All Peele did is make a film that has two blacks, a latino a white person and an asian. All these races already exist in the US and have been there for quite some time. Not only that having a film with such cast is not something new for american cinema. Rush Hour had a chinese and a black person as main characters for example.
You can't replace one of the main character's with a white person because they're brother and sister but if they weren't and the only actor Peele could reach to fast enough to meet the deadlines was white probably he might have replaced him. But that's really just an irrelevant assumption.
Peele wanted a white actor - meaning he doesn't actually have some wypypo hate. Steven Yeun is also a good actor so I don't see any issue.

He's not really an antagonist. Everyone in the movie messes with the UFO. And it would probably still pose danger to people around the place even without the show, it's not like he made the alien come to Earth or something.

                >Why do you use the left's definition of genocide if you oppose the left?
to prove that even according to the left's own definitions, what they're doing is genocide.

                > Also I don't agree with their definition of genocide.
weird how you have to change the definition so that genocide doesn't apply to what's being done currently.

                > All Peele did is make a film that has two blacks, a latino a white person and an asian.
in an anti-white industry that is increasingly becoming more anti-White and more non-White.

                >You can't replace one of the main character's with a white person because they're brother and sister
they're now step siblings. hope one of them doesn't get caught in the washer

                > All these races already exist in the US and have been there for quite some time.
The USA was 95% white as recently as the 1950s.

                >Rush Hour had a chinese and a black person as main characters for example.
But it wasn't implicitly anti-white and woke unlike virtually everything currently being released.

                >Peele wanted a white actor
Singular, I'm sure. but Peele is already well known for making anti-white films.

                >meaning he doesn't actually have some wypypo hate.

The progressives are indeed hypocritical, you don't need to explain that to me.
Currently a full blown replacement is happening in many countries yes. Jordan Peele movies don't have anything to with that, at worst they're merely a symptom. This board overstates his influence. I don't even think he's anti-white, his only openly anti-white stance was that he won't cast white actors in his films anymore or something on major roles but he proceeded to cast a white actor on a major role in Nope so you see how much weight his words have, he's an edgelord.
I don't know about 95% exactly but yes up untill the 50s there weren't as many black people there. Nope doesn't take place in the 50s tho.
And Nope also isn't anti-white. It's about reckless exploitation of wild nature.
Get Out is the only excplicitly racial film he made and the white people there didn't hate black people but liked them so much they wanted to become black, it's a jab on obsessed liberal crowd.
                >in their place
What place? Another white actor in the film plays an important role, he literally operates all the equipment needed to capture the footage of the aliens, the main characters wouldn't be able to do shit without him.

I oppose mass immigration and purposeful replacement of the population.
But I also don't care if a black person makes a film with blacks and an asian especially if these people do indeed exist in the country and the film itself is not historical, not a raceswap remake and is not supposed to represent some sort of majority but is just a confined story about specific people. It's not like the film takes place in Japan or Poland where actually seeing an asian or a black or especially a latino is indeed a massive rarity.

no, it's about not exploiting dangerous animals you have no control over, because they can and will eventually kill you. It's an anti-zoo film handled stupidly, but the premise is neat

A chimp on a TV show chimps out and kills humans because it's being exploited, except for one kid who it fist bumps.

Cut to: the kid as an adult, grown up. There's a UFO flying around that seemingly abducts people. Now an adult, he thinks he knows how to handle danger, so allows the UFO to abduct a horse in a public display.

Turns out the UFO is not a UFO but a predatory sky squid of unknown origin that kills and eats anything that has a face, and just looks like a flying saucer when it is in stealth mode/hunting.

It kills and eats everyone at the guys show because they see it. The guy's arrogance kills him. It is now up to the black protagonists to kill the creature, which they do. They kill it with a balloon.

The article doesn't explain the lady part, it left her out.
                >a chimpanzee named Gordy suddenly attacks the actors on the soundstage for the television show Gordy's Home. The show's youngest actor, Ricky "Jupe" Park, hides and witnesses the brutal ordeal,

She's the asian guy's co-star that got their face ripped off by the chimp. That's it. The alien shoved the balloon in it's mouth and tried to eat it and it blew up. It didn't enjoy having a fake horse in it's windpipe(?), so a giant balloon that's almost it's size blowing up probably would do some damage.

The lady with a weird face is a co-star of Jupe who got attacked by the monkey but survived.
Yeah, it's kinda stupid with a balloon but not really relevant. Helium reacted with something in the alien or shit like that.
Theme is more than just don't use nature for progit it's more of a reckless use and underestimation of nature. I mentioned in the thread before, it's like that idiot from Grizzly Man who got himself and girlfriend killed IRL because he treated bears like pets.

The main white character is still alive schizo. He'll be cashing in as well.

Got confused, wiki pointed out "OJ tries to keep the business afloat and maintain his father's legacy, while Em seeks fame and fortune in Hollywood. "
Peele's movies after Get Out sullied me, Get Out race things works for the plot and can be just happenstance ala Skeleton Key.

Correct, the article doesn't. The movie does. See, we watch movies here on Cinemaphile. And those movies contain allllll these scenes, and allll these scenes have information in them, and when someone writes a Wikipedia page about a movie they have to leave allllll that information out because then they wouldn't be writing a summary. They'd be writing the movie.

Watch a movie sometime. They're quite informative.

Nope is pretty straqightforward, much less cryptic than US. People in the film mess with the wilde life recklessly and get fricked over that. The monkey was directly exploited but the UFO was provoked, so it's not about exploitation specifically but about generally any reckless interaction.

Nope is more a commentary on "hey, play stupid games, win stupid prizes" in regards to the modern mentality that because everyone has a camera in their pocket nowadays we're all trying to capture our moment of fame and get rich off it and for every viral video out there there's another that never got seen because the person who shot it was a dumbass who got themselves eaten by a tiger or something.

The cinematographer is white and he died, the other guy is latino. But it doesn't really matter, I think people are overanylizing that part because of Peele's race meme. Plenty of blacks die too, like the father and the people in the audience.

the original leak made it to be an anti white scene but it's obvious from the film he uses it as a parallel on how people tret wild nature thinking it won't strike back because you know it's a wild fricking animal, it's also shows that because the monkey acted normal near Yeun's character he didn't learn anything and then used the UFO for his show which ended with now the alien going bananas and eating everyone

Watched the trailer, its obviously made for black people judging by the cast. OP should lead with that information, would make this thread redundant.

unironically the best character in the movie. i'd kill to have a voice like that.

when the rest of Cinemaphile sees this movie this guy is gonna be memed/worshipped.

This movie was so fricking boring. Not scary whatsoever, stupid plot with gaping plot holes all over the place and horribly written characters. Complete waste of Keith David, too. There's really not even any wokeshit in it. It's just sleep-inducing. I had a feeling after the shitpile that was Us I shouldn't watch any more Jordan Peele movies, but I didn't learn my lesson. Welp, now I did.

Except for this, yeah I guess there is kinda some wokeshit, in the sense that Peele tends to make white characters act like complete morons. Anyhow it sucked dick and I regret spending money to see it.

the ufo stuff has some weird aryan/nazi connections i hope peele revisits the topic in another movie and exposes the ridiculous and racist nature of the whole thing.

the first mass reported american ufo abduction case was the fbi hiring some kkk guys to kidnap and torture an interracial couple in like the 1950s to frick with them because they were active communists. look it up - betty and barney hill.

Look guys, I hate blacks too. But damn this movie is good. If we all go to see, maybe even buy multiple seats and see it multiple times (I'm on my 4th viewing tonight), we may be able to beat top gun. Wouldn't that be the greatest "troll" or "acceleration" if thats your thing? Will you join me?

The chimp stuff really overshadows the whole movie, its so different it feels like a scene from a different (better) movie. By the end the movie is just going through the motions.

      Anonymous

      Does the chimp represent Ns?

        Anonymous

I don't think he's comparing blacks to chimps, but that whole subplot is meant as a frick you to whites because the chimp only goes after whites. Which ok i mean it Peele, his distaste for whites isn't exactly a secret but still he could made a whole movie from that premise and it might have been a better movie than his ufo stuff. So chimp stuff feels less like an analogy and more like a random frick you scene.

Really fricking spooky. Like, it doesn't show much of anything at all, pretty much just "what it's like to be inside a digestive tract", and it's just the sounds more than anything that frick you up.

This scene was great. They got sucked up and a woman inside was screaming side. Looked claustrophobic. I wanted more scenes like that. Probably one of my favorite shots.

I cant imagine having an issue with Jordan Peele movies. We said for years that blacks should make their own shit rather than expecting to be injected into existing franchises or race-swapping legacy characters.

Peele is creating his own shit and leaving existing shit alone. Isn't this what we wanted?

Unfortunately I wasn't alive 300 years ago but yes, I agree we should have just tended to our own shit and not had slaves in the first place. Bringing them over was the first mistake. Freeing them and letting them stay was the second. If we hadn't loaded them onto ships they never would have set foot outside of Africa (and that's a good thing).

what did peele mean by this?
im not even exaggerating here, nobody other than angel gives a shit that the ufo kills people and needs to be stopped, all the two blacks want to do is get their video still, not warning a crowd event that they knew was gonna happen days earlier that there was something going on in the valley.
