Godzilla fights and defeats a giant spider then falls asleep in Rome colosseum, Humanity has just accepted Godzilla as a part of their day lives now.
Kong is hunting pack of giant dog like creatures and succeeds, though is seen being lonely and his keepers acknowledge it.
Kong gets anger and throws a giant boulder which causes an earthquake that transitions into the Title screen with following the cracks that awaken Skar King and his tribe from their prison.

Kong and Skar King meet, points to the sky, and the group go on a journey to the surface. Jya attempts to communicate with Kong but he ignores, leaving her feel left out.
Bernie and Surface Monarch team report on unusual Godzilla activity as he quickly starts traveling towards Egypt.
I can already tell this is pure trash like the last few. They should really either stick to the formula of the first movie (barely show monsters, make things feel real and terrifying), or emulate Japan more and have the humans always involved with some super science shit, instead of basically always being on the back foot and watching things play out.
What would you say are some of the best parts of it?

If I'm being completely honest picrel
But the references to the greater issues going on in japan at the time was a cool throw in, although I wasn't particularly compelled by it because I'm autistic about colours- I really hated the lack of a coherent colour palette they for the government scenes and they could have gone with something that better fit the tone of the discussions they were having to either match or add to contrast when shit started going going down
If you use the 2014 film, Bryan Cranston has an interesting part and then he's dead.
Can you give some examples of characters that stood out in other films?

the entire main cast in the original, King Kong vs Godzilla, and Mothra vs Godzilla

the writing and general attitude of everyone involved in the films
The problem with this is that the three main characters are just monsters with no higher brain function, barely any motivations and barely any way to communicate. It's like a nature doc without a narrator - extremely fricking boring.

During the Kongs journey, Kong and a young Kong named Suko get close as he starts seeing Kong more as a leader and father figure.
They arrive at a temple where Skar King activates some type of mechanism that opens a giant gate/door to a long tunnel, the group continue down the tunnel until they find the tunnel blocked by stones and random objects, Skar King orders his Kongs to clear the path.
They succeed as stone, sand, and sunlight starts pouring down on them, cut to sky view in Egypt with a sinkhole opening up near the great pyramids with people scattering. The group all walk out of the tunnel onto the sands as Skar King looks at the sky, then gives the fleeing humans a grievous look. Kong walks out to see Skar King about to attack the humans and goes to stop him before they hear Godzilla's roar and him charging towards them.
Kong gives a look of "oh shit" and Skar King looking at Godzilla like "YOU!", his orders his group to go attack Godzilla.

It's the best by far but okay. And by that I mean, it's the only one worth anyone's time.

Absolutely don't understand the take that 2014 is good at all. There's nothing compelling about it once Bryan Cranston dies. Aaron Taylor Johnson is so non-compelling that the movie would've likely been improved 10-fold just by switching his role with Elizabeth Olsen.
But the human stuff is non-interesting, non-fun, and the monster stuff is also not fun and barely visible and barely there. Plus they have to jerk themselves off as far as they can with the >muh realism
Schtick by having Godzilla fire breath be this pitiful super-soaker squirt.
Godzilla films were never the sin of boring. If Godzilla was barely in it, there was usually a wacky aesthetic or concept running the show. Or once in a while a compelling narrative. Otherwise, the Godzilla bits were always entertaining.
This was none of those. It feels like occasionally a blockbuster type movie will come out, like 2014 Godzilla or "The Batman" that has absolutely no take, no voice, no life to it whatsoever, and certain pretentious nerds will slob its knob because they equate boring with good.
Black person would really compare the lack of Godzilla to the shark from Jaws as if the appeal of Jaws isn't the wonderful chemistry between the leads as well as the town politics.
Also the MUTOs are the same boringfrick Cloverfield, Demigorgon bullshit monster design that every American kaiju film lazily opts for.
No, in fact I bet all of these morons would be slobbing 1998's knob if it had a Godzilla that looked more accurate to the original. The design of the 2014 is objectively better, but the 1998 film is a more succesful monster movie.
once cranston died the >WhAt HavE we sciEncEd

This. Crazy conspiracy scientist trying to avenge the death of his wife that has feelings of resentment towards monarch for covering it up but is forced to work with them to fight/track the Muto always had more potential than le soldier man noncharacter
I hate how people defend the screen time godzilla got in it by saying "he shows up more here then any other film!" those films are a hour and a half tops, this was a 2 hour fricking movie
And every time Godzilla does "show up" he's obscured by something. The "screentime" chart that gets posted counts times Godzilla's on the news on a tv in the background of the scene.
Godzilla's actual unobscured screentime is most likely the lowest in the series.
most of those charts don't even do averages, they don't do a real percentage because then it makes 2014 look bad, even with all those shitty scenes you mentioned
did you have fun
Yes, very fun and definition of a popcorn flick.

Fake. KDM has already confirmed that Skar King and his tribe are not Kongs
Also this leak doesn't mention the Iwis in Hollow Earth.

Is Millie Bobby Brown and that deaf girl in the movie?
MMB isnt, Jya(Deaf girl) is.
Is it worse than Gvk? So far every movie has been worst than the last, but it would be hard to top the last one. Did they manage?
They're not taking the films serious anymore, so it's more stupid fun rather than mellow drama and fake importance.

Frick no. 2014 was the worst, the others have been better.
Easily, kotm was peak for me though
