Like sure, it was rushed as frick.
I would've preferred to have the white walkers be the main focus.
But at the end of the day, I've seen way worse.
I came in thinking that it was going to be the worse Television Show ending and it was not bad.
At least you have to admit that it had good action scenes.
Good action scenes you mean like the battle of Winterfell where they shot the entire thing in dark fog because they were too lazy to actually do any action sequences? Kek
You're telling me that the dragon burning down King's Landing, watching the horror unfold, the battle between the Hound and the Mountain, Arya's life at risk, the ashes of the dead falling like snow as you see Arya and Jon Snow's face filled with dreadfulness isn't kino?
The one thing I enjoyed from the travesty that was season 8 was Cinemaphile dunking on it hard, especially the one episode where the ice dude attacks winterfell in pitch black and somehow loses. The amount of laughs I had that day, and the entirety of the run of season 8 was ridiculous.
This show was always a meme since season 2, but it went into absurd territory so much in season 8, it became unironically kino.
It still upsets me
how could they spend years
8 FRICKING SEASONS
building up the white walkers and then they lose the first battle past the wall
killed in the worst possible way by the worst possible character
all the fricking >ice dragon
hype for absolutely nothing
I think the last thing they handled well in the show was the R+L=J confirmation, which of course, didn't come from DnD
but that was season 6
Anyone with knowledge about A Song of Ice and Fire knew that the show wouldn't end well from the very beginning of the show's inception. All the complaints that people had down the road really lead all back to that fatass. Had he finished his books, the show would've been great from beginning to end, but instead he chased after greed and fame, and now look at him. He's despised by his book fans, hated by normalgays, and his works will be laughed, jeered, and scorned as a bunch of stuff that could've been great, but went nowhere.
Quite a legacy for Martin to leave behind. The moral of the story is, work hard on your passion until it's completion, and you will see the fruits of your labors grow many and healthy.
He became lazy and chased after the fame and the money, DnD contacting him for lunch (I think it was lunch), and talking with GRRM about figuring out the R+L=J (which was a big thing at the time, impressing GRRM so much), and HBO offering to finance the show with DnD at the helm and $50 million with some big name English actors was too much to pass on, even if his works weren't completed.
I did enjoy the salt from Dany fans, but that's a given. The salt from Jaime stans, especially here, was glorious though. But yes otherwise it was mostly shit.
I think it was great. The moment that b***h burned everything was awesome. I couldn't stop laughing thinking about all the normies that worshipped Khaleesi and even named their kids after the c**t. You have to be brain dead to watch 8 seasons and expect a different ending than what we got.
So I'm guessing fans had a meltdown over Dany killing everybody (I only watched GoT recently and wasn't around at the time to see reactions)? That was the only part of season 8 I actually thought made sense. She was an evil dictator the entire show who freed slaves only so she could enslave them herself. Anybody who fangirled over her was a moron.

that's because you're a simpleton.
My thumb is actually getting sore from repeatedly hiding so many bait threads. And another one.
we need a down vote and user credit system
I admit I miss it now, considering there is nothing else airing that's interesting.
Aye dun wannit
Prove this isn't bait by explaining in great detail every aspect of what you enjoyed and why. And why the hate is unjustified.
I liked it.
Simple as.
Gotcha. Post checks out.

Holy bait
It's dread ESL, his face was full of dread is what you wanted to type.

why didn't he finish them?

He sold out.
GRRM will never finish the books
even the troll and b8 threads on Cinemaphile are weak, kiwifarms has better trolls.

Jaime was a simp, so was Jon, until the end.

>got
what was this about?
in the torrent I watched there was not Starbucks cup but everyone says there was.
It was in the episode when it aired, and then later they edited it out, because they are cowards
we got one good thing out of it
Wish she had gone full frontal like the other girls
It was a body double so no we didnt
Not a double, she just had a bra on
Frick Olly.
