So up until now I had just assumed Omega could only teleport within the distortion because reasons, but it seems she can just teleport anywhere and doesn't need the distortion at all?
It's not as confusing that she'd be able to teleport outside the Distortion, but they are clearly still in the Distortion, just an area that's been siphoned off by the Star Ocean.
So...
WHY can Omega teleport? I get that the Distortion lets normal people teleport without tech, but that looks different and doesn't have that immediate effect of making you dizzy, so this is some other type of teleportation. My guess would be court tech, just like Kat's teleportation, but 1) How does that still work properly in the Distortion and 2) How does Omega have access to that? Is she still networked despite being in a New People body, now?
