So when Zimmy said they wouldn't like what she'd do, she was basing this on absolutely nothing and she was just completely wrong.
I guess then her statement that Kat was gonna kill her is also just random paranoid Zimmy nonsense.
Cool.
They said they had options, they simply didn't like the options they had, iirc. Whatever their options were, it seems as though they were not reliant on chance as much as using loup or zimmy, but had other downsides.
These are the people who built an entire planet devoid of a fundamental aspect of reality because they somehow never figured out that belief is a necessary factor in the operations of thaumaturgical phenomenon. The Court is run by idiots with no brains and even less imagination. Nothing but jumped up bureaucrats who have the gall to call themselves scientists. Pathetic.
I don't know if what Omega said about modeling a new world is to be interpreted like the court built a planet like Slartibartfast painting all the fjords black.
I think what she meant was that her non-etheric copy could model society to be whatever the court deems to be desireable IN the new world.
She isn't actually modelling the world, as in the planet. They aren't building a planet, they literally just wanna leave and live in isolation somewhere else because they're fed up with this place and all its ether shenannigans. You're blowing it way out of proportion.
Can we just go ahead and ban people who are obviously arguing in bad faith? Like, I don't even understand the point of this particular shitposting. You gain nothing, and look like a fool who hasn't read the comic.

And we're back to zero.
I can't believe that I actually have to clarify that I never said or meant that the court isn't going to another planet.
I responded to the frankly silly claim that they are building another planet by saying that they are simply going to another planet. The reason this is important is that the original poster seems to have vastly overestimated, in my opinion, the capabilities of the court. The point of my response was to provide a counter narrative to that anon's interpretation, which ironically likely stemmed from a misunderstanding of the recent pages of the comic.
You're most likely trolling, because you posted the proof of that yourself, but whatever. I'm done with this stupid discussion. You shat up this thread really early this time. Congrats.
Actually I'm not trolling or a schizo, but apparently I'M the moron because I completely failed to grasp that it was the building aspect you were talking about. What kind of human garbage is so psychopathic that it literally gets triggered by the very idea of argument to the point it starts BEGGING and PLEADING for authority to come and save us? >Help! Help! I'm being oppressed because someone disagreed with me on the internet!! I need to inform the Secret Police!
To be fair, their plans so far to make the star ocean work have been even worse, so it's technically an improvement?
If Tom had simply written 'hoping' instead of 'looking' or better yet rewritten it to something like 'They are glad that this happened' it would fix this, but yeah, as it stands, this is a very silly statement, considering Omega couldn't have foretold any of this in the slightest, because all of these events are entirely dependent on Annie, so much so that even Coyote couldn't predict it. Coyote being unable to predict events is part of the events that directly led up to the disruption. This is like 5 layers of pure chaos.
There's absolutely no way the Court could have possibly looked for something like this to happen. That's just insane.
As much as what is being said here is moronic, I do enjoy the two perspectives we see on this page. Omega shows a genuine lack of empathy, which totally makes sense, given the way she sees the world and it also fits thematically with her being unable to read minds (as if that made any gosh dang sense, but it is what it is) and Annie's in particular, while Annie is displaying empathy while lacking in logic. The court left Zimmy to her own devices and didn't evacuate her from the dangerous areas in the wake of the court attack. Clearly they don't care for her wellness and having her in peril would only increase the chance of 'something like this to happen'. I know it's a fairly basic dichitomy, logic and emotion are the two sides of the coin that is the human condition, they represent the masculine and the feminine, order and chaos etc etc. It's not an uncommon theme by any means, but I still like how this page encapsulates it so nicely and it gives me hope that the comic will end on some kind of statement or observation about this very fundamental yin yang of the human experience, as has been foreshadowed from very early on in the comic, sinxe the court and forest of course also represent these two sides.
Despite all the disappointments we've had with the plot and even the character writing lately, the themes of the comic are still intact and that gives me hope for the ending.
I don't have much hope for the ending but the paneling on this page is cool and having two characters actually play off of each other in a way that feels organic is something that hasn't happened in awhile
So Omega is, basically, an autist, who had an access to the entire world's history in all details, while Annie is a classical moron. Let's collect more mental disabilities.
Omega seems pretty well adjusted, tbh. She has a bit of the crazies, but she's also not even human anymore. She hasn't exactly had a normal life, so it wouldn't be expected for her to be normal.
Annie is moronic, yeah, sure, we've known this.
I don't think, however, that Annie's mental disabilities are really meant to be important to the comic. She just is the way she is, we don't need to rationalize it by claiming she has some kind of mental illness. She has a fire elemental sharing her soul. I don' t think convential biology applies to her.
>Kat accidentally killed herself and covered it up by making a new person body >she sent Annie and Paz on some sonsense errand to buy herself time to create a new body and dispose of the old one >She's been pretending to not have died ever since so as to not freak Annie out, after seeing that even the lie she told Paz freaked her out so much she decided to leave her
This would genuinely be less contrived than what we got
Like, try to resuscitate her? Perform emergency surgery even though you're in no way qualified? I can't imagine having to do something like that, but I guess I'd try whatever I could to save her!
Shhh anon. Omega knows what she is doing raising her new stepdaughter. She can see the future and she knows it will be ok!
Now let her enjoy her new husband in peace.
Rethorical question.
If Annie had in front of her four red rockets, Rey's, Ysengrin's, Coyote's and Loup's, only the disembodied rockets, with no other clue of who each belongs to.
Which one would she go for?
I'm not into dogfricking. My Gunnerkrigg tier list is:
Annie twincest > Annie jerking off while watching Paz/Kat in secret > Annie jerking off while thinking about Jones > Annie jerking off (vanilla) > Annie/Kat
There's no way Zimmy and Omega have nothing to do with each other, but you're right! I haven't even considered that. Unless Omega is lying, which, why wouldn't she, really, she is implying that Zimmy is not related to her in any way.
You'd think Omega would know why anyone is at the court. She's pretty much the highest authority we've encountered so far. Far above Aata or the headmaster.
I think it's Omega. All of the recent threads lasted long.
This chapter has some huge issues, but Omega makes up for it by being a fun character that plays nicely off of Annie.
Sure, I just noticed that the very first thread that didn't die after a couple hours in years was when we got the tiniest hint of Anniekat. That thread even lasted for a week and outlived the next two threads.
It was only after that, that we started seeing longer threads again.
Annie in the last panel is memeable
Annie is quickly running out of patience for Omega's bullshit.
Annie has always been an adorable meme gremlin.
She looks like she has something in her mouth.
What could it possibly be?
Bubblegum.
Big Red Rocket flavor.
That's not a flavor!
Have you ever tried it?
how do I taste them when they're in the sky 🙁
Annie knows a trick for that.
Annie can very easely disprove that claim, anon.
So when Zimmy said they wouldn't like what she'd do, she was basing this on absolutely nothing and she was just completely wrong.
I guess then her statement that Kat was gonna kill her is also just random paranoid Zimmy nonsense.
Cool.
ironically the worst thing she could have done is nothing
I love it when nothing anyone says or does means anything.
Very exciting.
Looks like Annie's on her hands and knees in the thumbnail
As she should be
>they were looking for something like this to happen
???????????????????????????????
To be fair, their plans so far to make the star ocean work have been even worse, so it's technically an improvement?
You'd think the finest minds of the Court wouldn't need to rely on chance to power their doomsday device
They said they had options, they simply didn't like the options they had, iirc. Whatever their options were, it seems as though they were not reliant on chance as much as using loup or zimmy, but had other downsides.
>doomsday device

Their ship is powered by the either. Once they leave everything either gets destoryed.

So we have Omega the autist, Annie the moron, and what else?
Tony the spastic, Kat the sociopath, Gamma the Polish
Zimmy the schizo, Red and Ayilu the psychopaths, Paz the lesbian
>They were looking for zimmy to merge with a god forming an alternate realityscape
>That's why it has no impact on their plans at all
It's all very silly.
But look at Annie being cute in the last panel!
>Yes, look.
>wait three days to find out it's fricking nothing
thanks tom
>like 5 giant fortified dimention traveling Cruise ships is nothing.
When they look exactly like normal cruise ships, yes, it's nothing.
Forehead!
Omega has a big, ugly forehead!
You can play chess in there!
Is Kat's body still in that server room?
>Kat accidentally killed herself and covered it up by making a new person body
>she sent Annie and Paz on some sonsense errand to buy herself time to create a new body and dispose of the old one
>She's been pretending to not have died ever since so as to not freak Annie out, after seeing that even the lie she told Paz freaked her out so much she decided to leave her
This would genuinely be less contrived than what we got
Imagine if someone entered the room and found Kat's body. Kat's unconscious, helpless, small body right there with no one around...
Oh no! They couldn't call the police! There's no police in the court!
Exactly! There's no police nor witnesses. You could fo whatever you wanted there and no one would know...
Like, try to resuscitate her? Perform emergency surgery even though you're in no way qualified? I can't imagine having to do something like that, but I guess I'd try whatever I could to save her!
Who'd make for a better mom for Annie, Omega or Brinnie?
Omega for sure. She would be both her mom and her best friend, always hyping her up. And she would always know where she is, keeping an eye on her.
I don't think you're supposed to be your child's best friend...
Shhh anon. Omega knows what she is doing raising her new stepdaughter. She can see the future and she knows it will be ok!
Now let her enjoy her new husband in peace.
>She can see the future and she knows it will be ok!
She explicitly can't!
Are you perharps saying that you don't trust Omega to take care of Annie?
Is that it?
Oh, she'll take care of her alright. She just wouldn't make for a good mother.
Brinne is warm, maternal, and empathetic. and Kat would certainly visit them all a lot more if she was Annie's new mom!
>Annie getting cucked out of her potential lesbian relationship with Kat by her new mom
Yeah but she gets first dibs on Brinnie and Kat's illegitimate child. Then she'll finally be like her idol, Jones.
That's messed up...
Imagine Annie teaching Kat and Brinnie's daughter how to explore her body...
Rethorical question.
If Annie had in front of her four red rockets, Rey's, Ysengrin's, Coyote's and Loup's, only the disembodied rockets, with no other clue of who each belongs to.
Which one would she go for?
You'd hope she's learned her lesson about Coyote by now, but you know she's still gonna go for Coyote.
If she picks one of the others Coyote just turns it into his penis
And if she picks his he'll turn it into Loup's.
Why do you guys want to frick dogs so badly
It's an antimony carver thing you wouldn't understand
I'm not into dogfricking. My Gunnerkrigg tier list is:
Annie twincest > Annie jerking off while watching Paz/Kat in secret > Annie jerking off while thinking about Jones > Annie jerking off (vanilla) > Annie/Kat
>Annie twins jerking off while watching Paz/Kat in secret
Ugly forehead.
Omega's forehead is normal. Everyone else hides theirs with hair. Cowards.
You're not fooling anyone, Omega.
Is Zeta really a friend of Omega?
So did The Court gain anything from all the coding they forced on the minds of the humanized forest people?
Maybe they were cloud computing data for Omega?
Omega? More like oMega-five-head-saurus Rex. Am I right?
Kat watching porn
Kat watching porn while edging
Kat never finishing
Too many cybernetics disrupting her ability to orgasm?
Inhibiting her desire to orgasm!
So is it Kat or B1?
Kat of course! B1 wouldn't watch porn and edge unless told to!
But I am telling it to!
B1, go watch porn and edge yourself!
I can't draw B1 every time you order it to do something, as much as I want to.
It's enough to know what B1 is doing it regardless of visual evidence!
It is a fun idea though for her to test a collar that blocks pleasure-signals to the brain to be used on forest annie
That's our Kat!
So if Zimmy and Gamma aren't related, could it be that... someone at the court just has a massive fetish for long black haired girls?
I would say, that is Charles.
There's no way Zimmy and Omega have nothing to do with each other, but you're right! I haven't even considered that. Unless Omega is lying, which, why wouldn't she, really, she is implying that Zimmy is not related to her in any way.
Mmhg, maybe the court DID bring Zeta to help her? Like they did with Omega?
You'd think Omega would know why anyone is at the court. She's pretty much the highest authority we've encountered so far. Far above Aata or the headmaster.
B1, draw Imaa drawing you!
Wow, gunnerkrigg threads lasting multiple days. Are we back in 2010?
Through sheer boredom and horniness, yes we are.
The power of Anniekat started it.
I think it's Omega. All of the recent threads lasted long.
This chapter has some huge issues, but Omega makes up for it by being a fun character that plays nicely off of Annie.

It was only after that, that we started seeing longer threads again.
These threads have always lived and died on potential lesbianism
When was Anniekat hinted?
The entire comic, it was clear Tom was a b***h that wanted them to end up together. Instead of the superior AnnieXAnnie.
Are you guys sire you're not taking Imaa's art as Canon? KAT is only into partners that smell like animals.
I don't think Paz' smell was a big deciding factor, especially given that Paz asked out Kat, not the other way around.
Agreed, it was just Paz being extremely sexy
Paz is underrated, I wish we got more art of her 🙁
Now Paz is a girl to step on Kat with heels
No no no, Paz has Kat ride her leg while wearing thigh-high leather boots
>Paz asked out Kat, not the other way around.
Does that really matter to a causality bender?
>robot girl keeps the threads alive with sheer charisma
How long until she gets vored?
>vored
I wonder if Lana will come oyt of this with a new fetish.
Loup saves her and she's like 'oh my, what big teeth you have!'
Would Lana and Omega get along?
I wonder if anyone's gonna get along with Omega.
Tony, maybe.
So who's in charge of forest annie's dick?
Court Annie, of course.
Court Annie, not even a question.
Of course it's Court Annie.
But how?
via a blinker stone urethra-plug, of course!
Court Annie tells Forest Annie what to do and Forest Annie complies.
Court Annie is Forest Annie's dommy mommy.
Is it weird that the tomboy one is the passive one, and the girly girl one is the dominant one?
How often does Court Annie step on Forest Annie's penis?
Whenever she wants her to cum, as it's the only way Forest Annie's been trained to ejaculate.
Does Court Annie wear shoes when she does it? Heels? Or barefoot?
Stockings with painted nails. The synthetic fibres of the nylon further assert court superiority.
Very good point!
She literally has the perfect pussy for Forest Annie, how could Forest Annie say no to that?
Kind of but that's what makes it hot, and honestly it fits the minor differences they had in the comic.
Zimmy is a false flag attack to get the court citizens to agree to their ultimate surveillance state.
