The logic behind this makes sense actually. Getting strangled to death with piano wire is a ludicrously uncommon way to die, while sexual harassment and sexual assault is something almost every woman is at risk of whenever she leaves the house. One is far removed from reality while the other is very close to it for many people, so obviously one needs to be treated with more levity than the other.
