Antman fell off a cliff. It made over half its final box office opening weekend. If that happens with The Marvels then it's going to make 280mil at most.

I remember when Captain Marvel came out and every major cinema in my country showed NOTHING but Captain Marvel for a month. I've never seen anything like that in my life, why did they try so hard to psyop her into being a thing? Look at the results

If it were just for future financial interests + wanting a strong female lead this was the wrong approach.

They should have just elevated Guardians of the Galaxy to the main series and made spin-offs from that. Take what works and expand on it, they could have made the Green lady into the main lead which is also a plus because Zoe Saldana painted different colours is an absolute money printer

Anything less than a billion would have been seen as a failure and would have made the Fox buyout more expensive while the stockholders were nervous because at the time Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans and, at the time, Chris Hemsworth were leaving the MCU, so they were hyping Captain Marvel as "THE NEW FACE OF THE MCU WHO WILL CARRY THIS FRANCHISE FOR THE NEXT TEN YEARS" but now know what a horribly unlikeable cunt Larson is so they had to put her with two diversity co-stars because the fucking bitch can't carry a movie on her own while using them to shield the movie from criticism by claiming that if you don't like it it's because you're not only sexist but also now racist!!!FACT!!!

I use my word highlighter extension with all the shill words on IMDB 10-star sorted with oldest first reviews for shit like this when I need a good laugh. My favourite shill keyword is " ... is back!" (eg. "Ghostbusters is back!!!", "Indiana Jones is BACK!!!")

Fun is another one. You can build up a good list reading enough shillslop and get most of the reveiws highlighted, while honest ones never use those words and phrases, or in a normal English context at worst.

It's that fucking obvious, but they have to by necessity use words like, "buy", "tell your friends", "I took my whole family to the cinema", because they're trying to get butts on seats at the end of the day. That's why it's so obvious.
