I thought so too, but strangely, Hailey's On It keeps occasionally trending (small ones, but noticeable) on twitter, even after its long ended, which is more than I can say for Molly. I love TGAMM but it's fanbase is just a loud discord troony one, like Fionna and Cake nobody off of cyberspace has ever heard of it.

I wouldn't say it was all just Molly's timing that hurt her show. From the numbers we've gotten, her second season really did worse and worse as it went on. Now sure, by the sound of it the choice to cancel the show came before the season even started, but with the numbers it was seeing odds are even if they hadn't decided by then they would have given up on it regardless.
Can a cancellation be reversed?
Yes. There are difficulties with it because the production crew generally does not just sit there unemployed; they go work on something else, so unless you start production of a second season when a first ends, odds are you will need an entirely new crew. However, it can be done.
Gravity Falls was not approved for a second season until after the first season had finished airing, which was logically many months after production had ended and the crew left. Which is why for season 2 they hired a ton of people from Tumblr to fill the gaps, such as Dana.
Was it a bad idea? Probably, but the point is that it can happen.
Will it happen to the ghost and Molly? Nope. The ratings were garbage.
Will it happen to Hailey? Lmao nope. Even worse.
Gravity Falls was massively worldwide popular so it got a special treatment. Same as Kim Possible back in the day, which got another revival.
Contrast that to the Owl House which while also cancelled before its 2nd season started didn't have its numbers drop nearly as bad as the Ghost and Molly McGee did and certainly didn't have any of it's Season 2 Episodes trend on YouTube.

I'm old enough to remember when Kim Possible broke the dreaded 65 episode rule thanks to popular demand by fans and great overseas success namely in Germany and Japan.

I don't know about the Owl House's worldwide popularity, but given how well Season 3 performed on Youtube and the overlap with the Gravity Falls Fandom. I think the cancellation would have been reversed had Disney Execs been aware of it's popularity long before Thanks to Them premiered.

I wanna say that won't work, and most likely it won't, but it's not a bad idea. The thing is the number of people who'd do that are around 20, maybe 25. Maybe make multiple accounts or something. Can someone please list the actually good shows that Disney has put out in the last 15 years? So far it's only been half of Star Vs, two seasons of Amphibia, one season of Wander, and one and a half seasons of Owl House. None of those were an entire show.

Matt Braly remains the King of Modern Disney. Amphibia is easily the best of the Brown Girl Cartoons, and has far and away the best and most memorable characters and plots. More than that, it's the only one that got to end on its own terms. Braly wanted his three seasons and he got them, and the series finale was actually meaningful and memorable. He's also gone on to do other things, I think he's working on something for Netflix now. This makes him far superior to everybody else who's worked at DTA over the last decade.
Love him or hate him, he won, and everyone else lost.
The lasting legacy of frog show is coomers and people that make gay shipping art of the main girls. So it's really not much different from your standard Disney cartoon of the last decade.

Mutt's just another mid "referential humor" cartoonist that was propelled to a higher level of fame because of their association with (and thus, generous plugs and shilling courtesy of) Alex Hirsch. Amphibia season 1 was still pretty much ignored until its season 1 finale, just like Hailey... only difference is, Amphibia existed in a time when there was still good faith in the DTVA studio plus the Hacklet's connection still had some clout.
