It had its problems. Bringing back random characters from '76 was pretty dumb and the mob shit wasn't built up properly and came off as silly instead of satirical.
The violence was mostly well done as far as random acts of killing were concerned. It would have been better without overstuffing itself with characters from the first one we don't care about. Also, the mob shit was well executed as far as getting the mentality of it across but

what are you talking about the movie was great. it was hilarious watching drunk townies alternate between screaming >EVIL DIES TONIGHT
and getting butchered by michael
Kills was kino, the hate from it is from soibois that don't like it because Michael slaughters homosexuals, race traitors and a guy dressed as a woman.

EVIL DIES TONIGHT
EVIL DIES TONIGHT
-LAURIE spends all time in a bed. Does nothing.
-hosoital doctors and nurses wanna lynch some short bald guy(MAYBE WE THE TOWN ARE THE REAL MONSTERS)
MOB STARTS TO BREAK WINDOWS AND ACT LIKE CRAZY REDNECKS
Mental hospital patient doesn't resemble Michael at all
moronic cops. moronic hospital staff. moronic vigilantes.
EVIL DIES TONIGHT
felt like a Saturday night live sketch.
it was just kinda whatever, literally the continuation of the first where stuff just happens but plot doesn't get moved, characters don't change, etc etc
not that i expect much out of halloween, but yea the plot feels non existant, like a 1 and a half hour long montage of michael going on a rampage with cuts to less interesting shit from time to time
Or, Michael is dead at the start. The movie is 2 hours of Laurie lecturing Michael's mask about COVID vaccines, abortion, January 6th and Putin's Inflation.
Departure could mean so many things
-michael becomes a ghost
-the new killer is the granddaughter
-LAURIE is possessed by Michael
-covid kills Michael
-michael and Laurie team up to fight an ever bigger problem
>all the boomer townies still hold onto that one night where 1 guy killed like, 4 people decades ago
they were hyping him up to be this ultimate evil incarnate and he was just a spree killer at worst. Youre telling me haddonfeild didnt have any major crimes since then?
the others in the film dont know that until halfway through the movie. Tommy, the nurse, suzy and all the parents sit around a boomer bar on halloween and give a speech about how Michael myers is the ultimate evil. If we're going by the canon of the first movie and nothing else, Tommy barely saw Michael and hes the leader of the fricking militia
Johnnyboy doesn't learn. His audience doesn't want new. They just want a proper closure that they've never got.
THREE times we've been through this cycle ever since the Thorne trilogy of promise, near closure, and then outright disappointment.
Just male a good final movie, it's incredibly simple: >Give Jamie Lee Curtis some proper screen time
And don't waste her character a third time. She is your main character whether you like it or not. Give her a symbolic way of beating Micheal >Put Danielle Harris somewhere or just a Jamie Lloyd Easter Egg
Appeals to Thornefans. I don't know what the seethe is about, but grow up. >Have some kino music (which is usually the case)
Obviously. >Make an interesting mask
Obviously. >DO NOT go full supernatural.
A little bit is fine, but this already failed 3 times because it wasn't done properly >Don't 100% kill Micheal Myers.
We all know There's going to be something else even if it's a soft reboot. Killing him off doesn't actually kill him off, but forces the next movie to tediously try to explain how he's somehow back. >Flavourful Plotholes are fine.
Just don't have a nonsensical story
prediction time:
michael will talk
michael will wear a covid face mask to blend in
michael will go incognito
start killing
movie ends with him and laurie strode killing each other
then you find out he didn't really die because money
The last one wasn't that bad.
People didn't like Kills? Are they gay?
It had its problems. Bringing back random characters from '76 was pretty dumb and the mob shit wasn't built up properly and came off as silly instead of satirical.
Nah, it was shit.
it was ABHORRENT wtf are you talking about

.
I'd give it a 5/10 or maybe a 6/10
>he mob shit was well executed
lmao it looked like shit almost like a fan film. It was laughable
what are you talking about the movie was great. it was hilarious watching drunk townies alternate between screaming
>EVIL DIES TONIGHT
and getting butchered by michael
>Michael has now killed Marion Chambers twice
Kills was kino, the hate from it is from soibois that don't like it because Michael slaughters homosexuals, race traitors and a guy dressed as a woman.
It’s The story that was wack
The hospital scenes sucked but the mob trying to hunt and take down Michael was good. Also the flashback scenes.

They didn't know what Michael looked like, then a guy wearing a Smith's Grove patients outfit showed up, what else would they think?

Evil dies tonight
Michae dies in the first ten minutes and the rest of the movie is Laurie trying to get past her obsession and thinking he is still alive.
>Michael dies in the first ten minutes and the rest of the movie is Jamie trying to get past the fact her son is a troony and still alive.
FIFY
I guess evil really does die tonight

Halloween kills is a fun movie. 5 and 6 are still the worst.
Kills was fricking boring, can't believe how bad it was coming from 2018 Halloween which was kino af
Oh shit the cult's coming back!
Was John one of the good guys?

Michael killed like 30 people between his escape and when the mob started going after him

Halloween 2 should've been canon to the new trilogy

There. You got yourself a free kino.
Yea it would be nice to see Danielle Harris again a Jamie.
I liked the ass whoopin Michael got at the end. That was KINO.
So it's good?
