She's gonna end up with a nasty rash on her face, but it was worth it.

It's real. Bruce Timm is a horny fricker. Dude's got a whole artbook filled with cheesecake of lawyer-friendly expies of DC characters.

You guys really need to let 90s Harley go. It's been 30 years.

More like 10 in this case, Harley did the jester thing for about 20 years before the roller derby abomination popped in.

It's not a matter of costume, it's a matter of character. Harley is only at her best when she's nothing more to the Joker than just another disposable henchman, which she's incapable of seeing due to her self destructive obsession with him.

So you want a stagnated character who only serves as arm-candy as you self-insert as Joker?

          >So you want a stagnated character
As far as Harley Quinn goes? Yes. Because she shouldn't even be a character. Just a henchman.
          >as you self-insert as Joker?
Why would I want to do that?

I'm glad you don't write comics.

I'm a 2000s Harley fan. And the Jester hat is far better than dyed pigtails.

I'm enjoying the new trying to find herself harley and I enjoy the old psycho joker girl Harley. The transition Harley and the movie Harley are both abominations. Utter trash.

The only way to make her a good character is to make her Joker’s girlfriend.

    Harley has always been good.
I'll never get tired of the endless seethe she draws on this board.

Yeah, just copy the thing from White Knight where Nu Harley is a random b***h named Marian Drews and the original left way before

After the cancellation of the lesbian cartoon and the gutting of the DCU it feels like the era of nuHarley is closer to the end than to the start

I just want to clarify a few things
      >The show is shit
      >Movie Harley is shit
      >New 52 Harley is shit
The problem as a whole is current adaptations with their wishy washy bullshit. Current canon redeemed Harley has actually had an arc and has been written consistently for a few years now. But Cinemaphile doesn't acknowledge this because we're infested with casuals and shitposters

What do you think was the thing that pushed Harley over the line, from old Harley to current Harley?

Unironically the Arkham games. They introduced an entire generation too young to even remember BTAS to Harley.
The first one was fairly harmless, and Harley's characterization was fairly intact, but it was the first one to give her a loose outfit over the classic jester suit.
City and Knight was when they really buckled down on the bawdtier costumes and more importantly, making Harley more ruthless with each game. Much more than she ever was originally. And that was the version of the character that eventually bled out into other media, including the comics.

    Serious question...
What do you guys think of the Telltale version of Harley ?

I like her design a lot.

I frickin love the Arkham games but God damn, they ruined this fricking character

It's simple. Take Harley out of live action. Take her out of the mainstream DC comics. She only exists in animation. The scenario she's in always has to have an ounce of humor in the mix or she doesn't work AT ALL. It's not impossible to do that in the mainstream DC books or in TV/Film, but it's obvious that the people in charge of doing that are incapable of doing it reliably. Cartoons can be serious too but like it or not the common belief is haha funne cartoon.

    >Harley Quinn
    >doesn't look or even alludes to an harlequin anymore
    >just valley girl or whatever dress with albino skin
They should change her name already. Albina, Candida, White Shorts. Because she's now just an albino woman in shorts

      >Have a daughter with albinoism
      >name her a clown pun
Solid backstory for a villian. A parent intentionally this malevolent would be a good reason for someone to be evil.

So basically Kevin Smith's daughter minus the albinoism?

I would argue Harley Quinn Smith is more cruel because that's a real person.
