His wife left him right? Did we ever find out why?

Yes but the reason she left was that for one of the punishments Murr slept with his wife

That sounds like a punishment for her.

I still really want to know. There has to be a story here. He (and all the other guys) were nobody comedians who climbed to hosting the one show that is single-handedly keeping an entire network afloat. You don't just walk away from that to "focus on your family." He got into some shit and had to be removed. I'm honestly surprised the story hasn't leaked by now.

I think Joe is just depressed and doesn't give a frick. He has two young kids and his wife left him and took the house. I don't think I could be asked to do a comedy show after that shit.

Why his wife left him is a mystery, maybe he fricked some young fan girl, maybe she's just a self absorbed c**t. Who knows.

He never let the jokers get comfortable. I haven't seen it, but I can imagine it isn't cringe kino because they arent motivated to top each other.

There's a female comedian guest star on tonight's episode. There have been two episodes without Joe an each one has been the worst episode of the show.

        >female comedian

        What

Yeah, like each episode has a guest star now. The first episode was Eric Andre, this episode was some chick named Jillian Bell. They let her try to do a skit of her own in the middle of the show where she pretends to freak out for some reason and it was so unfunny that it managed to unintentionally be the cringiest part of the show in a show that's supposed to be about deliberate cringe.

Really? The covid eps were Baaaaaad.

Agreed, the COVID episodes were the worst the show had been but this is another level. The COVID episodes were watchable, they had their moments, the last two episodes are just sad. There's no Joe, they still can't do stuff with big crowds, they've got lame guest stars and Murr, Sal and Q are just constantly forcing laughter in the most awkward way like this lame bit they're doing that clearly isn't working is somehow the funniest thing they've ever done.

          Its another level of bad.

I liked Joe a lot he was quick. Always had a line/joke at the right moment. Give it a while till the D is done and he'll be back. Maybe 1 season. He only "quit" to avoid paying more.

Is there seriously no explanation, even strong rumors, about why Joe left?

At this point, it's possible it's a sad personal reason, not one full of drama and underage prostitutes, so everyone is happy to keep it secret out of respect or something

I think his wife just decided she didn't love him any more and we live in a time when women are encouraged to be completely self absorbed to the point of destroying their families if they perceive it as making them happy. Society should frown on this behavior for being selfish, disloyal and dishonorable but we've lost our way. Man gave this woman a mansion to live in and had two young children with her and the marriage still breaks up, its sad.

Honestly part of me wishes that Joe did something that he was banging fans or something, at least then there be a reason behind it. The concept that a modern woman would break up her family for absolutely no reason is really a terrifying though.

        >I think his wife just decided she didn't love him any more
One of my worst fears. I watched The War of the Roses as a kid and it scarred me. Always been paranoid about the ones closest to me suddenly turning on me like that.

Yeah sadly I cant see myself getting married for this reason. Which is a shame because I have nothing against it. I wouldnt mind it. But its such a huge fricking risk nowadays when a woman can walk away with literally zero reasoning, and its totally fine. I mean, if the gov wasnt around, you could atleast threaten her or something. But not only is there a gov around, but they will do absolutely nothing to ensure that a woman cant just walk away from a huge commitment like that. I mean, the government doesnt just let you walk away from a contract you may have signed. Marriage is arguably one of the most important contracts you can make. Shouldnt be allowed to just walk away with no reason, unless you want to face grave consequences. Would help people also make sure that they will stay together before getting married. It really makes no sense if you think about it.

I mean its worse than that, the government will give her half of everything you own and everything your earn and actively favor the wife in the case of custody. So a woman can just walk away from a marriage for no reason and she ends up with the kids and you're basically enslaved to her by the state.

Women get to decide when they want to be responsible and when they want to be treated like children now. In the past if a woman tried to walk away from a marriage society would treat her like an impulsive child and say, no you can't do that even if she had good reasons. Now we've over corrected and any reason a woman has for walking away from a marriage is respected as an adult decision regardless of how childish it is; but then when it comes time to divide the property the woman is back to being a child who can't take care of herself or earn a living and who needs her husband to provide for her and what's more she should have the children even though she has no career or means to support them herself. Its a rigged game.

If you can find a good woman marriage is wonderful but its dangerous now because women really aren't encouraged to be good any more.

There really is an embarrassing amount of bored basic women that see romanticized angles of lifestyles on social media, particularly tiktok and then blow up their relationship, marriage, love life because they feel like they’re missing out. Was always obvious that women getting online was going to be a disaster but it’s so much worse, internet has really devastated them spiritually. Sucks that one of the safer bets is a girl that already had a crazy/hoe phase and hopefully got over it. Cutting out leftist white girls feels like the best way to protect your heart right now, have proven they’d kill their partner or even their family off if the trend got pushed by media and tech.

it is unreal how he was the glue. the other three aren't even bad or anything, even murr is entertaining despite being the most well put together, but joe was so important to the show

Joe was the most committed, he was the soul. He had no boundaries or filter. He inspired everyone else. All others had issues that would cause them to shrink away from certain types of jokes. Joe was game for literally anything

That's sort of why I don't think he was the best to watch. He didn't give a frick, and so trying to put him in cringey situations was never as funny as Murr, who was almost as game but clearly uncomfortable.
