Predict the genre she will explore. Mahou shojo, battle shounen and idol are pretty obvious.

Digimon is anime and therefore not Cinemaphile. Pokemon should also not be allowed.

You would be surprised to learn how many people working in the western animation, both old or new are weebs. This is 100% Cinemaphile.

It probably will. Most of Blue Spirit's originals works have been dubbed into English: https://www.spirit-prod.com/en/studios/

That's okay. I speak French semi natively since it's a regional language in my country and we border France, anyway.

seems like a fun and cute premise ngl.

It's been done. In the 80s, there was a magical girl series by Pierrot with a kid who had a magical paintbrush given to her by flower elves. She wanted to grow up to be a manga artist and with the magic paintbrush, what she paints becomes real.
I think this character was the inspiration for Relm from Final Fantasy VI.
For a more recent example of a similar idea, there's also Chalkzone.

    >made by artists that can actually create an appealing and clean aesthetic that's anime-adjacent enough to work for the premise
    >also they're French which usually means the action will be good and the girls will be cute

I don't think it's supposed to BE an "anime" and look like one, it's rather a story about anime.
That said, most series that aren't anime but referencing them suck and are done by people that watched the barest minimum of anime and only reference old tired tropes or naruto and the likes.

Wasn't Star's original pitch that she was a genuinely autistic girl who imagined everything and everyone avoided her or thought she was a freak? I doubt this show would have it in them to do that.

This would actually be interesting. But I doubt a modern cartoon for younger audiences will ever address anything sad or have non-happy reveals. She will probably just use that power to make friends etc. something about self-validation blah blah

Man I hate forced "nerd" shit, take the manga part away and it would have worked just as well without being a desperate attempt of manga fan pandering and cringe.
She could have just gotten hold of some mysterious power that allowed her to transform her life and settings into something interesting. Everybody can relate to that. The popculture shit makes it worse.
