This is just brainstorming and not set in stone. You telling me Maul trained Talon in between his own training and missions for Palpatine and Plagueis, then put froze her for a 100 years only to get freed by Krayt?

He died in Episode I and features in no other real Star Wars media.
Any other opinion is degeneracy.
I think his existence was only really investigated by the Jedi well into the time of Labyrinth of Evil. His death not only didn't help the Jedi, but offset and delayed their search of the sith.
>then put froze her for a 100 years only to get freed by Krayt?
Lucas never gave a frick about the EU. He just thought Talon was a cool design and wanted to use her.
>then put froze her for a 100 years only to get freed by Krayt?
Lucas never gave a frick about the EU. He just thought Talon was a cool design and wanted to use her.
In the Stephen Colbert interview, he mentioned "the children and grandchildren", out right naming Jania, Ben, and Jacen's kids. He was more involved in E.U than in tcw, the Bane Trilogy being a very notable example, since Bane is G-canon, the highest priority, thus warranting him to closely work with the author.
The featurettes of tcw mentioned George rarely visited the tcw team, probably a once a week thing. He had other projects like Red Tails or spending time with his family.
he never named the grand children in this interview, if Lucas made Episode 7 the EU post Episode 6 would have decanonized to give him a maximum of liberty
Talon would have been alive a few years after Episode 6
I really doubt it, Crucible was the perfect prologue to a possible sequel trilogy. Lucas would've need another 10 years to come out with the plot. I really think he sold Star Wars because he knew it was a sinking ship and wanted to frick over kk, hidalgo, chee, filioni and the rest of LF, which were probably all woke anyways.

Which is more than he ever did for the EU. He considered TCW a genuine extension of the films in a way he never did the EU.

He also worked with the TFU team, bioware (swtor), and the later books and comics. Even then, tcw was clearly a side thing, since tcw didn't fit well with the E.U. "TCC being canon" is just another "Dragonball GT is canon to Z" (GT is more on par with the movies) rabbit hole. In like 20 years, we'll get a E.U tano like how DBZ got the a main timeline Broly.

>GT is canon to Z"
I mean, the only person who ever said otherwise was one of the funimation actors, and anything out of their mouths is worth basically nothing. The japs who actually make the stuff don't seem to care one way or another.

The GT discussions back then are the same as people talking about how TCW being canon the to movies and E.U. Prior to the DBZ revival, there were a lot crazy discussions and topics on GT, at least for non-Japan, I can't really say for them.

I'm just telling you what Lucas himself said. He never considered the EU canon. EU writers have said that Lucas didn't consider it canon. Leland Chee said Lucas didn't consider the EU canon. For Lucas, TCW was different.

He's says a lot of things and his company always tries to explain it, though things get muddier. He'll probably say that E.U was canon and Dave's stuff and Disney being "side stories" when he's like eighty or ninety. I could see him flipping again just because he's getting older.
he never named the grand children in this interview, if Lucas made Episode 7 the EU post Episode 6 would have decanonized to give him a maximum of liberty
Talon would have been alive a few years after Episode 6
Actually he survives and joins up with his brother Savage Opress and they try to get revenge on both Sith and Jedi. Sadly things don't go well for Savage Opress. He was a pretty cool guy.
They could've just introduced a completely new pair of characters, both brothers to Maul that want to avenge their brother. It's not like maul was a character in Episode I anyways, just a cool guy with a cool weapon. Would be way cleaner story telling not having to explain him getting cut in half.
They did this with Mando, just reprint a cool suit of armor but this time make the character somewhat cool too. And then the morons just had to resurrect the original suit of armor too.
he was featured in some gay ass 3d animation cartoons with iron legs fighting gay ass literally whos and be killed in 1 second by obi wan.
Till this day I'm mad they killed him so early, then 20 years later they gave us a story about some b***h and a Black person, i didn't even bother to see rise of Skywalker
Based and truthpilled. Bringing Maul back was moronic and I'm tired of people acting like it wasn't. Bigger third wheel character than even that little shit Ahsoka.
I don't know what you think your point is. It's on Lucas. End of story. Maul's significance was ultimately less than it likely would've been had Lucas not sold Lucasfilm.
you want me to say what lucas idea was moronic? well yes, it was. but he's not the one who ended up doing it thus not liking disney nu-canon maul who survived past tpm is anti-filoni view, not anti-lucas
I actually agree. People may say that he has too little characterization that way, but he played his part well, and did what was required of him.
In fact, Maul was handled better in the old EU.
Pic related was more interesting than anything Filoni could've come up with, and that's prior to Episode 1.
George decided he didn't die after he decided he was dead when he realized he could sell more toys. For all people's screeching about SOVL with George, he's a businessman and every decision he made from 1997 on was not driven by what's best for the story. The Clone Wars are the worst offenders of this.
Your opinion don't matter and your existence is irrelevant
my existence is only existence i am basically a god and you an npc
nah
cute npc
Elegant and concise.
If you're name ain't George Lucas, literally shut the frick up.
better than darth vader
george lucas wanted him as the bad guy of episode 7,8,9

Lucas never gave a frick about the EU. He just thought Talon was a cool design and wanted to use her.
this what george said in a 2019 interview, he didn't care about the "canon" of the old expanded universe, he wanted maul and talon together
In the Stephen Colbert interview, he mentioned "the children and grandchildren", out right naming Jania, Ben, and Jacen's kids. He was not.

why are EU children so delusional?
Or it could've been her ancestor, Just like Wyyrlok?
Lucas' plans changed constantly. Genuinely think the "treatments" he gave to Disney were just a bunch of random notes and ideas
That was some massive promotion.
we were robbed.
Wish he raped her
Bo Katan is Maul's play thing.
Actually he survives and joins up with his brother Savage Opress and they try to get revenge on both Sith and Jedi. Sadly things don't go well for Savage Opress. He was a pretty cool guy.
As OP said, he features in no other REAL Star Wars media
George Lucas worked directly on the The Clone Wars series it is canon.
It's as canon as the EU was before 2012. Give it a couple of decades
You fricking moron Clone Wars is canon and if you don’t like you only like part of SW. Lucas worked directly on it you dumb b***h.
See
>and if you don’t like you only like part of SW
Oh No!
>Savage Opress
What about his other brother Meanie McBadguy?
And where was their sister, b***h c**tiness?
Don't forget his uncle, Somewhat Amicable
They could've just introduced a completely new pair of characters, both brothers to Maul that want to avenge their brother. It's not like maul was a character in Episode I anyways, just a cool guy with a cool weapon. Would be way cleaner story telling not having to explain him getting cut in half.

oh was that in your little cartoon?
Clone Wars is the best Star Wars content that exists by a huge amount though.
it's not even better than genndy wars, and certainly not better than the ot or pt
>gendy wars
The original source of all hatred for clone wars is gendy greivousgays getting mad that greivous was cucked in the canon clone wars.
Clones having unique personalities and being treated as actual characters contradicts the films
Make sure you thank and/or apologize to George Lucas. He is 100% responsible for TCW.
Savage was a Black person
he was featured in some gay ass 3d animation cartoons with iron legs fighting gay ass literally whos and be killed in 1 second by obi wan.
Till this day I'm mad they killed him so early, then 20 years later they gave us a story about some b***h and a Black person, i didn't even bother to see rise of Skywalker

based and anti-filoni-pilled
Lucas is the one that wanted Maul back.
yet its filoni who made it real and then carried it into disney wars. next you will "surprise" me about ahsoka origins?
I don't know what you think your point is. It's on Lucas. End of story. Maul's significance was ultimately less than it likely would've been had Lucas not sold Lucasfilm.
you want me to say what lucas idea was moronic? well yes, it was. but he's not the one who ended up doing it thus not liking disney nu-canon maul who survived past tpm is anti-filoni view, not anti-lucas
And that's all he ever needed. A memorable design.
You'll remember Darth Maul on your frickin deathbed
He is in solo
That said its a Disney wars film, but that's also the closest Disney has gotten to a star wars movie
Frick off Ewan you will fight darth maul again
cope
>cAnOn
Is that playdough around his horns? LOL
True.
its best they killed him off. look what they did to boba fett. turned him into a little gay cuck.
he died like a moron in rotj anyway, dont see how anyone could see him as cool after that
I actually agree. People may say that he has too little characterization that way, but he played his part well, and did what was required of him.

Pic related was more interesting than anything Filoni could've come up with, and that's prior to Episode 1.
please stay in your containment thread
. thank you
I will never take the vaccine.
I will never watch that gay show.
I will never betray George Lucas.
Any explanation as to why his horns look like they're glued on?
Nah. Darth Maul Shadow Hunters and Lockdown was good
George brought him back and I like George more than Disney, cope.
he was put in solo to fill the lightsaber quota
They hated him because he told the truth.
George decided he didn't die after he decided he was dead when he realized he could sell more toys. For all people's screeching about SOVL with George, he's a businessman and every decision he made from 1997 on was not driven by what's best for the story. You spelled 1976 wrong.
