Id go on a month long sexaplooza in thailand and select 2 of my favorites to all the best rollercoaster parks in the world. Then I'd put what I had left in a robot porftfolio for my neice and nephew. Then I would kill myself, because life is a stale meme.

He made a deal with Lucifer for that show.
Everyone else was stellar. Larry David, Jason Alexander, Julie israelitey israeliteface, Michael Richards, Jerry Stiller, Wayne McKnight, Patrick Warburton.
All fantastic on and off screen.
Then you had Jerry. Standing with his mouth half open waiting to say his lines and watching the other actors carry the show for him. His stand up cold opens were mid at best and were the low point of the episode more often than not.
If you had taken any moderately competent comedian with a decent work ethic in the late 80s and plopped him down in that same situation, that comedian would also be a billionaire.
So either Seinfeld made a deal with the devil or he's the luckiest man on earth. I don't even think it had anything to do with him being a israelite (though that didn't hurt). I think he really was just in the right place at the right time.

I remember being surprised by how mid his standup was. But he was sitcom star magic, the calm in a storm like some blank-faced israelite Tom Hanks. A voice of rationality in absurd scenarios.

way over your damn head eh

Jerry works as as character, the point of the bits is that he's a mid comedian, not my favorite either but you missed quite a bit

you are correct, it can be a sad defense

however as pointed out, you are mistaking the standup bits as real world comedian comedy and not what they are

Seinfeld (the show) wouldn't work without Jerry (the character) in it. If you really not realize this then I pity your caregiver for having to take care of a moron as massive as you.

I guarantee that Whoopi absolutely agrees with Seinfeld. The photo is just when Richards was on The View slinging his new book and they were all being supportive of his return.

Whoopi is too ideological for me, not a broad minded observer or critic of pop culture. She didn't have a hit sitcom, which requires not getting on ppl nerves for a long time.
