She's right. It is tragic. Luckily, there's only one man in cinema I relate too. Take the Columbo pill, Anons.

wouldn't mass media be bad in any form according to the far-right, the sort of edgy nihilism of the joker and patrick bateman is another form of degeneracy weakening the vvest

I don't think anyone actually relates to Patrick Bateman, they just think he's funny. Plus he's by no means a tragic hero.

The Joker just reflects whatever society is afraid of in the decade the movie comes out
    >homosexuals (1966)
    >organized crime (1989)
    >terrorism (2008)
    >active shooters (2019)

jared leto doesn't count because those movies are bad

      crime (1989)

the 1980s were the peak of gang culture in the US and coincided with massive increases in all forms of violent crime. Escape from New York and other films in that vein reflect these sentiments

No one considers crack dealing crips and bloods "organized crime" because of what moronic sloppy criminals they were. Stop getting your history from video essays.

You can't write a story about someone who is "happy, fulfilled, and self actualized", because then you wouldn't have a story. Literally every protagonist in a story is about someone who isn't fulfilled and does something that fulfills them or is trying to right some wrong they're unhappy about. You cannot write a character arc about someone who is content.

Frick you and your twatter screencap thread featuring some blackpilled moron that's more interested in their misery poetry that says nothing.
