I think the point of his story is that yes he was completely right about Jimmy but after all it's his fault how everything turned out had he given his brother the chance.

no, he's right. remember when jimmy got set up at davis & main? a real, respectable lawyer job at a prestigious firm. the first thing he does is go into the office and flip a switch that says "always leave on"

youre not wrong. as a footgay ive appreciated all the great camera shots of kims feet and soles throughout the series, vince has to be doing it on purpose. But they're not weird or out of place, its just most tv shows and movies never want to show women's feet or do an awful job of it when they do

The "allergy" to electricity was a manifestation for his hatred for his "lawyer" brother. Which he never could terms with and admit openly.

It started shortly after Jimmy got his prestigious law license and always intensified when Jimmy was agitating him in a negative way considering legal matters.

I thought he had this problem when his wife came over for dinner, and that was before Jiimmy told him he would be a lawyer. Maybe I'm misremembering.

          Anonymous

Hmm good point. I remember the dinner scene (lights were still on) where he was obviously jealous how charming Jimmy was to his wife. The later (no lights) dinner scene was when Jimmy had graduated the prestigious university of Samoa.

He heavily disliked his brother since childhood, part jealous, part jimmy being a shitbird, like when chuck found out he was stealing from his parents which accelerated their bankruptcy. It was the lawyers degree, no matter how shitty it was, that really sent him over the edge.

        >He didn't feel physical pain
I'm sure he did, even if it wasn't real. Suggestion is a thing and that's why placebo works. Also there's phantom pains and a bunch of other examples of pain that isn't actually there, or physical pain caused by mental issues (ibs, tension headaches, and so on)

It was a self fulfilling prophecy, Chuck always knew what Jimmy was capable of because he proved it time and again but his own actions pushed him further down that road, Jimmy legit wanted to be a good honest Lawyer and to make his brother proud but Chuck could never look past what Jimmy was like

        Anonymous

Jimmy had his chance with elder law. Chuck was willing to look past him as the area was harmless enough for him to do any real damage, like he did as Saul Goodman.

It was falsifying the Mesa Verde documents that sent him howling for his blood. All jimbo had to do was not frick with them and he would be good raiding senior homes. Kim Sexler was competent enough that she would have gotten a new chance sooner or later but nooo, Jimmy had to take the shortcut again.

    >At the funeral, no one cried harder than Jimmy
I think Chuck pointed out Jimmy's ultimate character flaw. He self sabotaged and creates he own messes, but he's always worried about how it affects himself and not others.

Jimmy was legitimately heartbroken by his dad's death, but also saw the guy as weak and not a proper role model.
