Honestly the worst part is that, in a modern show a male protagonist is in no way allowed to be in a dominant position to a female character. That gives the audience the ick. But Alucard is a _monster_ , Integra is in terrible danger in every scene where they're together (both to her life & her soul) , and Victoria is if anything worse off because she's in the same boat but disposable.
