These are an American thing, ironically the blue was added to make it look like the flag when the red and white got carried over from Europe. So anon blown out. I don't want him to be blown out because his fundamental logic is sound but in this case he is unambiguously blown out, indeed.

There are many combinations an artist can select.

They can end up on a pretty picture or on a gayflag because they work together. No idea why they work like that for the human brain and eye, but they do. There are rules with exceptions.

Why bother analyzing a color scheme when there's an actual trans flag with "Protect Trans Kids" written on it in her bedroom. All the fricking proof you need right there.

  14. 11 months ago

Honestly this movie was not bad. Some action scenes were way too fast paced but some others were nice. The overall story is cringe at the begining but salvages itself with more interesting themes about causality and self determination. The art is superb but suffers like modern anime of overflashiness and saturation of colours which work well sometimes but fails like in your shot, It just seems blurry. Overall 6/10

So when is the next one coming out ?

Actual lighting tech here, blue and pink is a very pleasing combo to the eye and we use it as a generic option for background or scene-setting all the time, it's real quick and simple and everybody likes it. I only head about the trans colours thing about five years ago or something and I've never attempted to be signifying that while using pink and blue. I guarantee the majority of the hairy-assed 40+ year old men in my industry who light set haven't heard of the meaning.

In terms of generating it, red and blue are primary colours, and pink is a step between them close to red. In-between both you have purple. Mixing pink with blue give you a gentle kind of lavender, a very calming colour. Blue is a safe colour, while red is dangerous, so watering the red down to pink makes excitement.
People have associations with colours, which is why I accept this trans thing, but typically we just use the basic b***h things everyone automatically knows, red is danger, green is spooky etc.
Pink and blue look cool together, sophistication and thrill, hat's typically it.

Of course the character apparently has a trans sign or something in their set so I guess the lighting for that room or house is meant to communicate the agenda after all.

This is a thread for /misc/cucks to b***h and whine about trannies just like half of the board now. They don't actually care about the movie, the techniques, or color theory

They're not the troony colours. They're Gwen's colours. And they're Gwen's colours because they're the colours of the Charlotte Hornets, the basketball team of the creator's home town. They changed the purple to pink when she stopped being a villain because purple is traditionally a comic villain colour.
