That’s unbelievably shit for the amount of shows they were teasing, and nothing from midnight to 8?
    Will take it though

That would be hugely disappointing. I work during those hours and it would be nice to have some cartoons to watch while I do work.

All the classic shorts are full of wall to wall music. They stopped doing that with budget cuts in the 60s, it's very noticeable.

            Anonymous

Have you never seen the cartoons where it's based on a song? Daffy Duck singing "The Merry Go Round Broke Down" or Bugs Bunny singing "What's Up Doc?" or even that Porky Pig cartoon where he's trying to move a cow and everything is singing "Smile Darn You Smile". They are Looney Tunes. In Space Jam, their team is the Tunesquad. Even as music became less and less important to the shorts, they stayed as Looney Tunes.

Literally the two most popular Bugs Bunny shorts are opera music based.

The word Toon didn't really exist in the popular consciousness until Roger Rabbit. You only think Looney Tunes is "Looney Toons" because of how Tiny Toons decided to change the spelling.

      >I despise the replacement music.

Quick rundown? Why did the music need to change?

        Anonymous

Because Sony didn't want to pay Frank Comstock's estate for the rights to the music that he had rights to. Though they did come up with a cute wiener and bull story about how the replacement music they used was actually what Jay Ward would have preferred.

Not a zoomer, based mask is the main draw for me, but there was an uproar back at the announcement thread about the reason why SS was part of the channel at all considering it's a "recent" cartoon that I find it weird it's missing from the grid.

          Anonymous

It'll air at some point. They're no doubt going to cycle shows around and not everything is going to be airing at once. The likes of Xoomer Showdown and Babby Looney Tunes will show up eventually. Unfortunately.

I like it, but there shouldn't be any repeats. Peter fricking Potamus shouldn't be getting 2 airings a day.
