I really do not understand why they have such trouble launching the DCU. Just copy the MCU formula. They sat with their thumbs in their asses for too long and made shit like Batman vs Superman in an attempt to obtain an audience. Even now they saw the MCU do cameo appearances so the DCU turns it up to 11 by using dead actors
This is them copying the MCU formula. They've been doing that since the theatrical cut of Justice League were they butchered the movie to add gags and quips. They even got Whedon to write and direct it, for fuck's sake.

There were three issues. First, they tried to rush their cinematic universe: there was no Man of Steel 2 and no first Batman film, instead they jumped straight to what should have been their Civil War equivalent with Batman v Superman (which also cramped in Wonder Woman). Second, they never had any real plan for where they were going and likewise there was no communication between the different productions. Third, capeshit mania has ended - it has got the point they have missed the boat.
Fellowship of the Ring was not a franchise with every member of the team expected to have their own spin-off movies and shows, retard. Gimli has like 20 lines across all 9+ hours of film, and that's fine because he's just a side character. The actual character dynamics of the party is not the focus of the story in LotR the way that it is in comic book movies.

>The actual character dynamics of the party is not the focus of the story in LotR the way that it is in comic book movies.
You do realize movies like X-Men exist where not every character needed to have their backstory explained in their own movie, right?
Not only are they incapable of pulling this off correctly in a logistical sense, it just doesn't make sense for DC characters. For example, what is the appeal of Batman? I'll tell you what it's not: teaming up with six other guys to beat up giant mechanical bugs. DC characters have always been more human than most Marvel guys. Marvel's big exception is Spider-Man, which is why people flocked to his movies at a time when only Batman (and Superman to a lesser extent) was considered heady enough to make a real movie about.
>For example, what is the appeal of Batman? I'll tell you what it's not: teaming up with six other guys to beat up giant mechanical bugs
Fucking casuals, man. Try reading a Justice League comic someday.
>DC characters have always been more human than most Marvel guys
It's the exact opposite you mong. DC characters are these monolithis of superpowered humanoid beings, and the draw of DC is that you can have this childish powerfantasy wearing capes and totally being disconnected from reality. Superman and his invulnerablilty? Flash and the speedforce? Batman and 'prep time'? Don't get me started on green lantern and 'whatever you can imagine-ring.
Marvel on the other hand has balanced characters. The powers are in unison with the characters themselves, they don't *make* the characters. Ironman is Ironman because Stark uses his genius to make himself stronger. Capt. America is capt. america because he needed to get injected with the serum for the war his country was in. And so on.
Yeah, DC is a lot more metaphysical and based on classic archetypes that could be compared to Greek mythology.
Marvel is closer to reality and the characters are more flawed and relatable.
>I really do not understand why they have such trouble launching the DCU. Just copy the MCU formula.
I think that's exactly what they didn't want to do. I don't think they took the idea of a cinematic universe seriously until it was proven successful. And then they wanted to rush to the end result. So a few build up an audience and universe through individual hero movies was never on the table.
They literally purged the people capable of pulling it off anon. It's like the She-Hulk writers going >It turns out writing is hard
When the original dude who made Shulkie famous is alive and capable of putting out a dozen-episode series about his opus. It's just the logical end of diversity hires,
>Just copy the MCU formula.
they ARE trying. The reason they wanted to do Flashpoint so fucking quickly is because Snyderverse bombed and they wanted to reboot it to become like MCU, it stucked in development hell then No Way Home came out and then they want to copy that too.
The mainstream has gotten tired of the MCU formula and no Marvel movie has grossed 1 billion since End Game. No Way Home is a Sony picture and was a one off event pandering before fags bring that up as a shield.
Gunn's DCU reboot is 100% going to underperform due to super hero fatigue, ironically the darker Synder stuff is probably what the mainstream might want now.
>Just copy the MCU formula.

DC fucked up so bad. not taking their time. If they had slowly did a buildup instead of trying to rush things they'd be sitting pretty.
I was watching golden army clips earlier. fuckin insane how elaborate the sets are. I mean even just the gears moving in the final fight makes it so obvious how bad things have gotten. even something as simple as doug jones getting into a real costume as the death angel is incredible; selma can actually see what she's looking at instead of looking at a green wall and getting told just imagine it.
But McKellen could have just asked for some old theater buddy to be on set in a green suit to read the other parts if he needed living energy/feedback to bounce off. It's not an unreasonable need.
>But is Dean Cain Superman in?
He showed up in the supergirl show, twitter melted down because he is a Trump loving Republican and he never showed up in anything DC since
The DCEU is baffling. >The second film features Batman and Superman fighting. >The fifth film is the Justice League - and that is not predated by either a Aquaman, Cyborg, Flash or solo Batman film. >2 Suicide Squad films with very similar names, with one being a sort of soft reboot. >Some Birds of Prey / Harley Quinn film. >Black Adam introduction film where he is an anti-hero and Shazam is not in it. It also introduces the Justice Society (separate to the Justice League) and is also connected to the Suicide Squad.
nothing baffling about it. It was very clear that it was run by corporate suits who were reacting to the MCU. Everything you pointed out was just a reaction to what marvel did, only you can smell the suits intervening at every step.
>two characters can't fight in a sequel >a movie cannot have main characters if they didn't have solo movies before
How do you people handle grown up movies about dramas with these absurd rules?
maybe I'm wrong but maybe you mistook what he was implying. It wasn't so much that they were fighting, it was just that they took their two tent pole characters and just bashed them together expecting the spectacle to sell the movie. In capable hands, it could have worked. Zack is retarded though and gave us BvS. They wanted to top marvel so badly that they took all the best batman/superman story lines and made a cheap movie, and topped it with the death of superman. It was retarded.
>it was just that they took their two tent pole characters and just bashed them together expecting the spectacle to sell the movie
You're explaining what happened, not giving an argument for why it was bad. And it did sell the movie. It made a huge profit.
They also didn't take any of the best Batman or Superman stories. Try reading comics; Death Of Superman is pathetically bad.
>and it did sell the movie. It made a huge profit.
Anon, we live in an age where films like that are expected to make a billion. It made 837.6 million on a 300 million budget. That is embarrassing for a film that has arguably the two biggest superheroes, who are also appearing together for the first time on the silver screen, released during a period where capeshit was hugely popular.
NTA but you actually moved the goalposts by changing the idea of ‘profit’. I can’t take your arguments seriously now 🙁

Did it make money? Probably. Did it make the expected profit? It clearly didn't since Snyder was essentially kicked out from the DCEU even while in the middle of JL's production. Every movie after it has essentially been trying to distance itself from Snyder's tone and universe. Would they do any of this if BvS had actually been profitable? Of course not.

>if BvS had actually been profitable
It was though. Thanks to Turkish airlines and the fact that most of the money was made during the first week which means the studio and not the theaters raked in more. WB got buck broken by the critical reception and retardedly tried to fully change course, though there was also some internal politics going on regarding Geoff Johns and the AT&T purchase. You’d think Justice League would be the nail in the coffin and then Aquaman went ahead and made a billion. So all in all they were failing upwards. Their mistake was shelving Superman and Batman, not going for another crack at JL, and trying to rely on Wonder Woman and Aquaman kek. The story of Joker’s production is also hilarious. And to think WBs executive autism goes all the way back to the 80s with Superman and Batman. The only thing holding up Gunn’s DCU is his goodwill, other than that it’s screaming MCUdisaster. The only two DC projects that are worth it going forward are Man of Steel 2 and The Batman 2, I still think Cavill is worth more than Gunn.

lmao studios don't give a shit about critical reception if the movie is actually succesful. The truth is they expected BvS to make at least a billion and kickstart their cinematic universe, it failed at both things so the movie was a failure according to the people that financed it and that were going to profit from it. No amount of cope and mental gymnastics will change that, but you can keep coping if it makes you feel better for whatever reason.

They were trying to kick Snyder out because he didn't want to make a shared universe, but a long-running serious movies a la Harry Potter. And at the time they absolutely cared about RT.
Interesting to see what were the highest grossing movie of 2016 >Captain America: Civil War $1,153,296,293 >Rogue One: A Star Wars Story $1,056,057,273 >Finding Dory $1,028,570,889 >Zootopia $1,023,784,195 >The Jungle Book $966,550,600 >The Secret Life of Pets $875,457,937 >Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice $873,634,919 >Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them $814,037,575 >Deadpool $782,612,155 >Suicide Squad $746,846,894
I'm waiting to hear how it didn't make a profit.
I don't think anyone will say it didn't but, that is a movie which should have made more money and you are deluded if you think that was not disappointing.

Interestingly Superman Returns was still the 9th highest-grossing film of 2006. It could also be added that was in a different era, with there being nowhere the near the same hype for superhero films

>Bale
A few people may have done but, not most. Besides that, Bale or Affleck we are still talking about Batman. Batman and Superman together, Batman and Superman during a capeshit craze.

that's literally what I'm saying. The selling point was that it was batman vs superman. The reason batman was fighting superman was stupid because zack is a retard who can't write for shit. >They also didn't take any of the best Batman or Superman stories. Try reading comics; Death Of Superman is pathetically bad.
I didn't say death of superman was good. Also, sorry I'm not some basement dwelling comic nerd.
>it was bad because it was poorly executed.
This is the part where you give an argument. You can't waste Death of Superman because it was worthless to begin with. What they did was an improvement. >Zack can't write for shit

It made a such a good profit that it basically tanked the whole DCEU (in it's second movie lmao) steering it into the chaotic mess it is right now. You pajeets are so fucking retarded.
It's been 8 years since BvS tanked and you homosexuals are still in denial. Why does anyone bother reasoning you? Keep shitting on streets and praising Zack.
He really thought he was going to get paid huge to return as Superman in several DCEU movies including Wonder Woman 3.
He turned down a Sherlock Holmes movie series, Witcher S4 (he was due for a big payday with renewal) and had to turn down a WH40K project because his manager/agents convinced him his next 10 years will be doing DCEU movies again with a huge pay bump.
>they made two suicide squad movies, one of which was a reboot one film into the franchise >made a D-tier Harley Quinn spinoff with stronk womyn that predictably bombed >made a Black Adam movie >But only one standalone Superman movie and zero solo Batfleck films
can someone explain to be, in unironic, terms, the appeal to this multiverse crossover phenomenon? is it really as simple as cumming your pants over a recognizable reference? obviously the studios make a shit load of money, but what conscious individual actually cares about this?
bro, during the sitcom era, the most popular sitcoms (not to mean the best, just what got the best numbers) were chuck lorre ones where retards would literally clap and point and say "there's the thing, they did the thing they always do!!!" All that to say, people, en masse, are retarded. If someone is a fan of something, to them, anything that has that thing in it is good and they like it. They clap and point and say "there's that thing I like, THEY DID THE THING!" Some times it's done right and the thing adds to existing stuff (like no way home) and most of the time, it's just member berries.
>a decade of capeshit gathering stea

If you asked me 10 years ago >What's one thing you think will get consistently better about movies?
I'd have said CG effects.
But somehow they're getting worse.
Fuck everything. Fuck capitalism, fuck private equity, fuck copyright laws, fuck outsourcing, fuck the stock market, fuck producers, fuck CEOs, fuck lawyers. and fuck Hollywood.
The tonal shift from Snyder to Marvel-lite was really jarring, even to normies.
No solo Batman or Superman sequels hurt. Instead we got shitass Birds of Prey.
Marvel-lite was WW1 and Aquaman really. Shazam to Shazam sequel is like post-Endgame MCU full of mediocre movies.
Will Gunn be their billion dollar movie maker? Hard to tell with Suicide Squad due to Hollywood accounting and Peacemaker being TV. Their current slate is not looking good though, Flash might be one with all it's cameos, Aquaman 2 looks bad especially with the delays and Heard, and nobody gives a fuck about Blue Beetle.
>top tier world wide known heroes
Vs >literal fucking who's and jokers girlfriend and friend
"Extended universe" shit is so fucking gay. Who gives a shit about these fuckin losers
Aquaman was basically an AI-generated movie made for Chinese audiences. It looks and feels like a Chinese movie, which made it so every single bugman in China went to watch it
>No shit casting >Hot actors >Competent director and cameraman >Simple but archetypical hero story without any nihilistic bullshit of last decade >Well written characters >Good action >Epicness
Aquaman isnt some miracle, it earned its money. It worth more than that to be honest.
>don't say Zack Snyder tanked the IP because Joker made money. >FILM THAT IS COMPLETELY UNRELATED TO SNYDER'S RETARDVERSE IS WELL RECEIVED, HMM I WONDER WHAT THE PROBLEM IS?
You want to know why WB didn't want to see Joker being made? Because they felt it was too much like Snyder's movies. Meanwhile the execs were doing everything to distance the DCEU movies from what Snyder did going as far as not calling his actors back to do any movie.
Who's talking about Snyder? The anon was doubting the claims that WB didn't want to see Joker made, which is fact.

The theatrical cut has nothing to do with Zack Snyder, though. Everyone knew that. It was WB basically raping his movie. Why include it in the Snyder camp?
Understandable. The theatrical release wasn’t exactly Snyder’s film, if anything it should be included on the Hamada/WB exec section of the graph. Snyder Cut doesn’t have any publicly released returns to post either being a streaming release.
This is so fucking stupid, most normal people or the general audience would have NO FUCKING IDEA why Nic Cage is superman and why he's fighting a giant Spider, this is just for the nerds obsessed with capeshit to point at the screen and explain to everyone around them why this is fun or should matter
How hard would it have been to have Cage shoot for a day and call it a day instead of making this CG abomination? He named his son Kal-El. Nigga probably would have probably pulled a janny and done it for free
>Why would he play superman in a mocking way.
Well this didn't mock Superman and for another thing he voiced Superman in the Teen Titans Go movie. He's clearly not as precious as you
So the last scene is clearly just a gag, does this mean the DCEU will be completely rebooted with no connection to this movie? At this point i really wish they'd just go for a completely clean slate, but i just don't see it happening
capeshit discussion aside its wild to me that you can just directly ask directors why they do/did certain things. of course not all are like gunn and would answer but still

>First, they tried to rush their cinematic universe: there was no Man of Steel 2 and no first Batman film
It hurts.
Maybe the earlier MCU movies. The later ones have retarded shit like "jarvis invent time travel", or Spider-Man being Ironboy.
It's like the She-Hulk writers going
>It turns out writing is hard
>The mainstream has gotten tired of the MCU formula
the only ones tired of it was marvel and they started moving away from it.
>Just copy the MCU formula.

This is definitely the fan screening where the effects were unfinished, right?
WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT ROTATING CAMERA MOVEMENT???
It looks so fucking amateur and lame, that it makes my blood boil.
Mandolorian "Digital Volume" stage layout. Pretty much the only fancy move you can do easily, because it's a big circle with video-screens as walls.
Is this the only shot of reeves? I was hoping for more than 5 seconds
Yes. They still shouldn't have done it though
This shit is so tiresome. I miss pre-Disney capeshit
Those are so saggy titties
DC fucked up so bad. not taking their time. If they had slowly did a buildup instead of trying to rush things they'd be sitting pretty.
I was watching golden army clips earlier. fuckin insane how elaborate the sets are. I mean even just the gears moving in the final fight makes it so obvious how bad things have gotten. even something as simple as doug jones getting into a real costume as the death angel is incredible; selma can actually see what she's looking at instead of looking at a green wall and getting told just imagine it.
Kek at those cheap face elements.
But McKellen could have just asked for some old theater buddy to be on set in a green suit to read the other parts if he needed living energy/feedback to bounce off. It's not an unreasonable need.
SIRS SIRS
But is Dean Cain Superman in?
Yeah, he appears fighting BLM protesters for some reason
good question
good show too
>But is Dean Cain Superman in?
He showed up in the supergirl show, twitter melted down because he is a Trump loving Republican and he never showed up in anything DC since
This shit was so based because the madlads made a show about silver age Superman something you will never see again.
American culture is centered around the multiverse
Everything you pointed out was just a reaction to what marvel did, only you can smell the suits intervening at every step.
>two characters can't fight in a sequel
>a movie cannot have main characters if they didn't have solo movies before
How do you people handle grown up movies about dramas with these absurd rules?
maybe I'm wrong but maybe you mistook what he was implying.
I'm waiting to hear how it didn't make a profit.
no, you're strawmaning and moving the goalpost.
>Would they do any of this if BvS had actually been profitable? Of course not.
Of course they would because the problem wasn't money, but execs not liking his take on things.
They didn't like his take on things because the public was not receptive to it so it affected the box office, retard. They didn't just one day decide to fuck Snyder over.
They did. They were fucking him over since MoS.
Explain Todd Phillips complaining about WB execs trying their hardest to not see his Joker movie being made because it was "too dark".
>because it was "too dark".
More like because the Joker is one if their biggest cashcows and they didn't want to risk another Snyder-sized failure.
WB has been notorious about executives fucking each other and ruining projects. There are 15 unmade Superman movie.
>want to risk another Snyder-sized failure.
so hand it off to the retarded asiatic and james fucking gunn lmao see
dumb bitch bastard
How did that work for them?
>if BvS had actually been profitable
Interesting to see what were the highest grossing movie of 2016
>Captain America: Civil War $1,153,296,293
>Rogue One: A Star Wars Story $1,056,057,273
>Finding Dory $1,028,570,889
>Zootopia $1,023,784,195
>The Jungle Book $966,550,600
>The Secret Life of Pets $875,457,937
>Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice $873,634,919
>Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them $814,037,575
>Deadpool $782,612,155
>Suicide Squad $746,846,894
I don't think anyone will say it didn't but, that is a movie which should have made more money and you are deluded if you think that was not disappointing.
it's crazy that avatar 2 can make 2 bil hardly trying and a batman/superman movie couldn't even clear one.
Because Superman never made much money box office wise. Superman Returns did terribly. People were also expecting Christian Bale to return and were disappointed he wasn't in the movie.
>Superman Returns did terribly. People were also expecting Christian Bale to return and were disappointed he wasn't in the movie.
not one person was expecting bale to be in that movie
why would they?
Because they thought Man of Steel could tie to the Nolan's movies. In fact WB pestered Nolan to make this happen, which is why Nolan stopped producing them after MoS.
WB in hindsight did need the hype of the Nolan movies to ride off of. I think the DCEU would be very different today if it was Cavil vs Bale.
>It made a huge profit.
Batman v Superman should have been a money printing machine. Before release people were talking about whether it or Civil War would make more money, and many people expected Batman v Superman to BTFO of Civil War.
Superman returns was boring and had no action
>Superman never made much money box office wise
that's not true at all.
>avatar 2
>hardly trying
Cameron spent like ten years making that fucking thing.
>You're explaining what happened, not giving an argument for why it was bad.
I told you why it was bad, it was bad because it was poorly executed.
>And it did sell the movie. It made a huge profit.
that's literally what I'm saying.
Snyder doesn't write any of his movies, pajeet. Try reading the credits.
>This is the part where you give an argument.
got it, no point continuing with you because you'll just keep disregarding what I say and repeat "where's the argument?"
Did you just try to imply saying "it's bad" is the same as explaining why it's bad?
It made a such a good profit that it basically tanked the whole DCEU (in it's second movie lmao) steering it into the chaotic mess it is right now. You pajeets are so fucking retarded.
It's been 8 years since BvS tanked and you homosexuals are still in denial. Why does anyone bother reasoning you? Keep shitting on streets and praising Zack.
Good thing I don't base my enjoyment of a film off of how many shekels it made like a dumb goy homosexual
Me on the left
Wait, gigachad is furiously retarded.
Putting the Rock's ego aside. Black Adam was an attempt to steer back into the DCEU. That's why Cavill returned and Intergang was introduced.
All these cameos and Cavill gets none, lmao
He got trolled hard.
Now he gets nothing.
Cool fanfiction.
The Rock needs to play a heel again instead of being a face retard
>they made two suicide squad movies, one of which was a reboot one film into the franchise
>made a D-tier Harley Quinn spinoff with stronk womyn that predictably bombed
>made a Black Adam movie
>But only one standalone Superman movie and zero solo Batfleck films
malpractice of the highest order
can someone explain to be, in unironic, terms, the appeal to this multiverse crossover phenomenon? is it really as simple as cumming your pants over a recognizable reference? obviously the studios make a shit load of money, but what conscious individual actually cares about this?
bro, during the sitcom era, the most popular sitcoms (not to mean the best, just what got the best numbers) were chuck lorre ones where retards would literally clap and point and say "there's the thing, they did the thing they always do!!!" All that to say, people, en masse, are retarded. If someone is a fan of something, to them, anything that has that thing in it is good and they like it. They clap and point and say "there's that thing I like, THEY DID THE THING!" Some times it's done right and the thing adds to existing stuff (like no way home) and most of the time, it's just member berries.
No way home done right lmao
That shit makes zack snyder look like a competent director
*sigh* We are going to have a deluge of pajeets praising and defending this shitty film.
literally who?
Hollywood 2023
>make a bunch of meme scenes and call it cinema
They should have put more shitty cameos. Halle Berry Catwoman, Ryan Reynolds Green Lantern, Shaq Steel, etc.
>a decade of capeshit gathering stea
with disjointed, stand alone films
>a decade of capeshit dominating with everything tiedtogether and connected
>a decade of slow death and decay as capeshit can't figure out if it's a sequel, reboot or otherverse
cagebros just can't stop winning
If you asked me 10 years ago
>What's one thing you think will get consistently better about movies?
I'd have said CG effects.
But somehow they're getting worse.
Fuck everything. Fuck capitalism, fuck private equity, fuck copyright laws, fuck outsourcing, fuck the stock market, fuck producers, fuck CEOs, fuck lawyers. and fuck Hollywood.
How is this possible and don't say Zack Snyder tanked the IP because Joker made money.
I think even normies were mad about what WB did to Snyder.
Vs
>literal fucking who's and jokers girlfriend and friend
"Extended universe" shit is so fucking gay. Who gives a shit about these fuckin losers
how the fuck did aquaman make so much money?
It was made by a competent director, good villain, fun adventure.
Aquaman was basically an AI-generated movie made for Chinese audiences. It looks and feels like a Chinese movie, which made it so every single bugman in China went to watch it
>No shit casting
>Hot actors
>Competent director and cameraman
>Simple but archetypical hero story without any nihilistic bullshit of last decade
>Well written characters
>Good action
>Epicness
Aquaman isnt some miracle, it earned its money. It worth more than that to be honest.
>epicness
eric, simply eric
>don't say Zack Snyder tanked the IP because Joker made money.
>WB didn't want to see Joker being made
Source: Dude trust me
See
. The director's own words.
Where exactly does he mention Snyder?
Who's talking about Snyder? The anon was doubting the claims that WB didn't want to see Joker made, which is fact.
>Because they felt it was too much like Snyder's movies.
who said that exactly? some "anonymous insider"?
Todd Phillips, in another interview.
WB didn't want to another BvS and were trying to more cheery and funny movie like WW84 and Birds of Prey.
>Todd Phillips, in another interview.
sorry but you gotta link that bro. tell me exactly where he mentions "joker is similar to snyder thats why WB didnt want it" like you said
it's hilarious that you didn't include justice league in your graph
He didn't include The Joker and The Batman either. Snyderfags are dishonest swarthoids
The theatrical cut has nothing to do with Zack Snyder, though. Everyone knew that. It was WB basically raping his movie. Why include it in the Snyder camp?
By that logic Aquaman has nothing to do with Snyder either
Clickbait headlines won't prove anything
Complain to James Wan himself, who already said he won't work with WB on any capeshit movie anymore because of what they've pulled in the sequel.
what the fuck are you on about
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aquaman_and_the_Lost_Kingdom
Yes, and it is going to be a mess. Wan said he won't do a third one.
>not as good as the first
holy shit, then it must be straight up unwatchable. im sure the asiatics overseas will still like it though
>anonymous redditor
sure bud
i'm sure your dad works in nintendo also
>There is a RUMOUR that Wan said he won't do a third one
You should phrase your sentences correctly anon. Don't wanna spread misinformation :^)
The Joker and The Batman basically fit in the darker Snyder camp, how are they Marvel-lite?
WB has more success with the darker films besides maybe Aquaman, yet they keep chasing Marvel bux.
Understandable. The theatrical release wasn’t exactly Snyder’s film, if anything it should be included on the Hamada/WB exec section of the graph. Snyder Cut doesn’t have any publicly released returns to post either being a streaming release.
>3 time travel movies release in the same month
Is hollywood creatively bankrupt?
>>3 time travel movies
what was the other 2
>each universe is determined by the actors and the producers of said movies
cringe as fuck, I really hope this trend dies off soon.
Gunn is fucking retarded.
This is so fucking stupid, most normal people or the general audience would have NO FUCKING IDEA why Nic Cage is superman and why he's fighting a giant Spider, this is just for the nerds obsessed with capeshit to point at the screen and explain to everyone around them why this is fun or should matter
Yeah, normalfags are going to be confused
How hard would it have been to have Cage shoot for a day and call it a day instead of making this CG abomination? He named his son Kal-El. Nigga probably would have probably pulled a janny and done it for free
He has principles and wont do capeshit
Are you retarded? They had to get his approval to use his likeness
>Cage won't do Capeshit
>Cage wouldn't stab a baby to play Superman
This better be b8
Why would he play superman in a mocking way? If Gunn had brains he'd make a Cage Supes movie full on and not this CGI schlock shit
>Why would he play superman in a mocking way.
Well this didn't mock Superman and for another thing he voiced Superman in the Teen Titans Go movie. He's clearly not as precious as you
Cage said that his 2 long life biggest dream jobs were to play dracula and to play superman
He accomplished both this year.
>he even fought a gigiant spider
KINO
REMEMBER
WHAT THEY STOLE FROM YOU
At least they got the suit right
The S is too big and the abs are wrong but they got it right for the most part
That neck is too wide. Wtf. Why is it so open
it's the zoomer standard to be chad. anything less is incel or ꜱoy
Why'd they give him Affleck's coke bloat body type?
I only come to DC threads to bully snyderfags. They're so easily riled up
is Cavill in it?
Clooneychads we won
Unironically would have been the best Batman if he was in a better movie.
is he in a batsuit though? would love to see Clooney in a batsuit
Where's Adam West?
In his heaven, all's right with the world
no he's in the movie, they got screenshots of everything else except for Adam West? wow, such expert leakers huh
https://streamable.com/nt50u2
So the last scene is clearly just a gag, does this mean the DCEU will be completely rebooted with no connection to this movie? At this point i really wish they'd just go for a completely clean slate, but i just don't see it happening
>At this point i really wish they'd just go for a completely clean slate, but i just don't see it happening
capeshit discussion aside its wild to me that you can just directly ask directors why they do/did certain things. of course not all are like gunn and would answer but still
theres a cam for this already? I could use a good laugh
>digital doppelganger
>digital necromancy
>95% of the movie is CGI homosexualry
>the few people who arent digital clones or undead puppets spent months standing in front of a green wall surrounded by retards in green suits as they recited memorized lines and tried to emote.
You fucking retards are talking about a GPU tech demo. Capenagger homosexualry has always been goyslop. Now it's goyslop that can't even be considered braindead entertainment because it's incapable of being entertaining.
>digital necromancy
heh
Hey, I'm not seeing videos of my wife is she in this or isn't she?
I dunno, what does your wife look like? You accidentally posted a picture of MY wife though
NO
But IMDB says she'd be here
Yeah she is
How desperate can they be?
Warner's cape movies typically make a profit, theres no desperation here
