>Hey look at how LAME the original ninja turtles are compared to our MODERN ninja turtles! They're so cheesy and campy which are synonymous for bad.
We're so serious and edgy and darker. They don't even use their weapons yuk yuk yuk! (I'm a writer assuming this because I never watched the original and going off heresy I once saw on the internet)
2k3fags started this trend.
Everyone agrees 87 is boomslop
Let's face it, we only like it because we're Cinemaphilentrarians
It didn't age the best, and if it's so lame then the show calling it shit shouldn't have to make up incorrect information about why it's shit. Not to mention putting the effort into making the animation, dialogue, music etc even worse than it already was.
They could just let the show be what it was if they really wanted to convey it was lame, but they didn't do that. Not only that, they had to outright say it was lame as if they didn't have any confidence their methods of demonstrating that it was lamier than it already was, was clear enough.
Didn't the 2012 show already do an '87 crossover where both sides were treated with equal-ish respect for the other?
No that was 2003, where the worst thing they did was somewhat flanderize the '87 cast not to belittle them but just to emphasis the contrast between them and the original comic Turtles because in a film with 12+ main characters you have to fall back on contrasts and character herds to keep it from becoming a total mess particularly when they're literally the same 4 characters 3 times over.
Rise or 2012 would 100% do something retarded like this though.
I'm still confused. I saw the 2012/'87 crossover with Krang and it didn't seem like the '87 turtles were treated as incompetent at all. Krang, maybe, but only because they had to justify tying him to the '12's Kraang.
>We gotta teach you guys how to use your weapons!
>Despite the fact that they used their weapons all the time to fight back guys in the 87 cartoon.
I don't ever recall such a scene.
That was in the series finale
>No that was 2003, where the worst thing they did was somewhat flanderize the '87 cast not to belittle them
The 87 Turtles took one look at the villain, then literally ran over to cry into the arms of the 03 Turtles. Whoever made Turtles Forever clearly hated the 87 Turtles, and you are both delusional and retarded if you think anything else.
Rise's turtles are a bunch a goffballs at the same level of the 87's, they are just more competent in fighting in comparison. I don't see them, maibe except for Rise's Don, don't be friendly with each others
Autism
Turtles Forever shat on the 80s cartoon worse
All Tmnt shows are goyslop
87 is boom slop
03 is millennial slop
12 is zoom zoom slop
And the newer ones are later zoomie and alpha baby slop
>Gen X doesn't exist and I don't know that millenials are the ones who watched 87. I just repeat generational buzzwords in hopes it makes any sort of fucking sense, since it's trendy.
Technically 87 is also millenial slop.
>slop
Kill yourself
Nigga
I have a hard time believing that you actually like anything, you duplicitous goon.
>you duplicitous goon.
I will now watch your boomer show
Boringhomosexual
Boomer April is best April
So, you think heresy and heresay are the same word.
You missed the point of the episode. Yes it was cheesy. Yes it was aimed at children to sell toys. But like all turtles iterations it had SOUL
OK boomer
Not an argument
