I like the show and I do think Adam was in the right.
I just can't get over people hating the show for stupid reasons. I get the actual reasons to dislike, like the pacing and certain character beats, but some criticism like "Vivzie is fetishizing abuse through the song Poison and Angel's arc" when the entire point is that this is "killing" angel and he wants to break free from it just makes my head spin.

I think the best solution is to try and offer redemption to those that are willing to take it, since we have confirmation that redemption IS possible with Sir Pentious.
And when I say willing, it's not to get a step ahead or escape their punishment, just for those that truly believe they are good and have served their time.
Regardless, why go to heaven when there are people like Adam or Lute or Sera there.

The exorcists and their deeds were a secret specifically because Heaven is not as keen on the murder and mayhem as Hell. There's a clear difference. The exorcists haven't even been shown to attack other denizens of Heaven. Lute wouldn't even let Adam attack denizens of Hell when they visited. If these are the terrible people you're talking about, then you're still better off in Heaven, because the terrible people in Hell aren't a small, secret force going off to a far-off world to commit atrocities that will never affect you and you will never even see. Being terrible is a prerequisite to even being in Hell. You are surrounded by people who want to harm you and specifically you at all times. There's a clear difference.
I think you are reading more depth into this character than the people who wrote him...

To be fair this isn't just Cinemaphile, alot of places view Adam the same way they view characters like for example, Starscream. A victim of circumstance who's just playing along because he doesn't have any other option.
Also Adam is just a fun character in general. So is it any wonder people would like him.
