Women and their allies are increasingly rising up through the corporate ranks. This is literally what HR departments and diversity mandates call for. Why wouldn't they? That is literally the point of Diversity Rules.

So the diversity rules obviously exist, but it has no impact on anything? Does that make sense?

Women do not like anything that might make a male happy, and the ydo not like pretty women in media. You're seeing this change across all forms of media, including video games, comics, and film/tv.

legit it's confusing to me how much they objectify women in music videos in tight latex outfits but then they keep claiming that they respect woman in movies.

Are hollywood and the music industry separate?
Also why do feminists always attack movies and never music videos?

But it's not woman who run hollywood and the music industry though.

        It is men.
So again, why did these men decide to make movies more feminist and muslim, but they kept the music videos extremely sexual.

What is the logic behind this strategy?

because women love the sense of liberation from behaving like bawds without the consequences of such behavior. They succeed in it because they're the ones who know how to put social pressure on males, being the defacto reproduction choosers

It's not the actress or musician who decides what to wear and how to act for the video. You make it sound like Dua Lipa ane Gaga decided themselves to dress in Latex and act like prostitutes and those marvel chicks decided themselves to wear these unattractive superhero costumes. These people are managed by companies.
The question is, why are these managed so differently when both are basically run by the same people.

maybe when you first sign they will suggest stuff for you to do. Once you get popular then you can do whatever you want. Pearl Jam became the biggest band in the world and stopped making music videos because they didn't want to anymore. Music companies don't give a frick about controversy because nobody knows about them. They just see the artist. Movie companies are more in the public eye so they have to be more careful about controversial stuff for some reason. Therefore if the "trend" is to treat women appropriate then they will do so, even if it goes against profit incentive.

maybe when you first sign they will suggest stuff for you to do. Once you get popular then you can do whatever you want. Pearl Jam became the biggest band in the world and stopped making music videos because they didn't want to anymore. Labels would obviously not be happy with that since that's their biggest marketing tool. Some bands straight up won't release an album unless they get a new contract.

This is true but most major label don't function that way anymore, due to the reasons you just mentioned.

                >Once you get popular then you can do whatever you want.
it's the opposite in the current market.
Do you know why Kanye lost his shit? It's because of this? He was getting frustrated with the restrictions of the labels.

well I mean "do whatever you want" in a reasonable way. They don't want you going off the rails and killing your career or releasing 'experimental' stuff that is complete garbage. They want to make money still and they are paying for a lot of stuff. My point is "them choosing how an artist dresses" is very low on the totem pole of stuff you have 0 say in as an artist.

because they'd argue that they can and should do both, movies are mostly criticized because of their interaction with men inside the plot
nobody is complaining about women dressing and behaving like prostitutes when the movie is explicitly feminist or empowering

              Yes, we know the answer.
              women are full of shit
I'm not being flippant. When they want to dress and act like hookers it's okay and when they want to complain about objectification, it's objectification. That's as deep as it goes

Basically this. Pull the ladder up from under them.

Hollywood is trying to destroy the media culture that white men liked. Music industry is trying to make women into dumber prostitutes. They don't have the same goals or audience. Feminists believe what they are told to believe and are not an internally consistent ideology.

Yeah, it's the same with their cucking for blacks. Portray black people as the most sophisticated, logical, and collected individuals in movies, shows, and commercials, but push the most ghetto moron Black folk they can find in music.
Both groups claim to be strong but require constant positive affirmation to keep from having a breakdown and b***hing/chimping out.

Because women are in control, is the stock answer.
The real reason is that society is run by fascists. Fascists are literally homosexuals. So, for two reasons, they push homosexualry. One is that that is their sexuality and, even when overtly 'heterosexual' they're misogynistic and gay (think Vince McMahon beating women and shitting on them) and are obsessed with dicks (bukkake, gangbangs, DP, blacked) and so all female nudity is pornographic and defiling while male nudity is enlightening and art.
The second reason is to push genuinely straight men out of society and away from women. Men are inspired by a woman's beauty son they degrade and devalue it. Most straight men aren't sexual outside desiring & acting upon women so they sexualize men thus confusing, alienating and so on

Reminds me of that stuff I heard about Star Trek TOS.
    >womens lib lets girls wear short skirts
    >girls in the show want to wear skirts so short it wont be allowed on TV
    >fast foward to the 90s
    >feminists complain about the skirts in TOS saying the men made them do that when it was the women all along

    Women are literally unpleasable.

      Homosexual shills.. Know them.
      >b-b-but it's a man and woman
Doesn't matter. Every straight guy knows it's gay. The main reason you want to devour her ass is the reason you're repulsed by the thought of a woman doing it to a man
      >s-s-simp!
You want to do that. Every straight guy is turned on by a woman being magically delicious and by being patriarchal & dignified & more of a spirit than some bent over homosexual who wants his butthole picked.

only morons think it's evil men making these girls dress like bawds ALL THE TIME and not the girls doing it themselves because they know it gets them attention.

Fricks sake, the same actresses complaining about their Marvel costumes are the ones spilling out of their dresses whenever they decide to go down the red carpet.

I know you want to pretend women are blameless pure creatures but grow the frick up.

This, kinda. Women are turned on by it the same way men are. Meaning both men & women are turned on by the same exact thing. By women showing skin and being hot & sexy. Women want a guy to be cool.
To give an example - lap dances- women are turned on by giving them the same way men are turned on by getting them. They want to be a queen to a king. They don't want to be a queen who has some douchy homosexual prancing about in women's underwear. Just one example.

This. Sad and doesn't have to be true (women can objectify themselves w/o being bawds) but true

      >get a nose job and you'd look alright with those breasts
